In hopes of forming more series on the blog, let's go with Sunday Shopping. I've been trying to cut back on my spending habits and getting my finances in order (a post on that coming soon), but the fall weather has hit NYC like a bandit and I'm in need of some clothes, and fast.

The one thing I have always severely lacked, is a fall jacket. I always go without a jacket until the weather gets too frigid for it, and then I wear a heavier coat. But the in-between? The odd cool but not cold weather? I don't have a fall coat and I desperately need one.

While browsing the online shops, I found a great J.Crew quilted jacket. It was perfect & everything I wanted.

Well, J.Crew Factory currently has 30% off pretty much everything on their site and I bought the jacket this morning.

I can't wait for it to arrive! It's the perfect fall jacket and will probably take me straight through winter.

What is on your shopping list for the fall?

Last year I hosted an awesome giveaway with a great company called Decor 2 Ur Door. The website is filled with lots of beautiful accessories, all that can be customized with your monogram, which is basically the best part of anything.

The shop is filled with gorgeous, feminine bedding, and you can even design your own which is perfect if you're decorating your dorm or apartment. I think my favorite thing is Customize Your Own Headboard... how cool would that be?

They have everything from bedding sets to throw pillows to curtains... everything you could ever want to decorate a bedroom in your personal style.

Something that I discovered when I went away to college were wall decals. Everyone had one in their dorm or apartment, I even have one on my wall at home of a lovely little quote.

A wall decal that I've been lusting after and really regret not getting while I lived in my own apartment at school is a monogram decal.

Decor 2 Ur Door has so many monogram wall decals, everything from traditional monograms to one initial, to your full name.

Because my last giveaway was so successful, Decor 2 Ur Door and I have teamed up for another giveaway to give one lucky reader the chance to pick the monogram wall decal of their choice! Any style, any color--it's all up to you!

Add a little personalization to your bedroom, whether you live in a dorm with roommates, in an apartment by yourself, or even with your parents! The possibilities are endless :)

Enter through the rafflecopter below! The giveaway will last one week. Good luck!

A few weeks ago I was contacted by Megan about her company Decor 2 UR Door, a dorm bedding website that sells gorgeous bedding, decor and accessories for college aged girls. I was immediately intrigued because you know I love anything along these decorative lines.

I was first taken with the website. It's just so pretty! It's also extremely organized and so inviting to the consumer. Decor 2 UR Door has something a lot of other websites like it doesn't; the ability to refine and advance your search by color and print. It makes searching for your perfect bedding even easier.

All the products are so stylish and perfect for the college girl, whether you're a freshmen or a senior. There is something for everyone, which I love.

There are so many different products on Decor 2 UR Door it can borderline be overwhelming. The variations of the designs and the actual products are awesome. You can pick and choose exactly what you want.

My favorites have to be the "Bed in a Bag" because you get everything you need for your dorm room; a duvet cover, a sham, and two pillows.

They also have some crazy accessories such as Monogrammed wall art decals and chair covers(which I think have to be my favorite).

If you don't find exactly what you're looking for on Decor 2 UR Door, you can create your own; they give you the ability to design everything from the duvet cover to a headboard

If you're moving into your first college dorm room, getting a house off campus or just have the desire to redecorate your room at home, check out Decor 2 UR Door. They have pretty much everything and anything you can imagine.

The best part about Decor 2 UR Door? They have MONOGRAMS! Another great thing about Decor 2 UR Door? One lucky Royally Pink reader is going to have a chance to win their very own monogrammed pillow! Just enter the Rafflecopter below :)

Good luck!

The first day of classes is always pretty low key but also exciting because you are seeing most of your friends for the first time in months.

In college, the first week of class is dubbed syllabus week. Almost all the professors don't give you actual work on the first day, they let you get adjusted to your schedule and give you some downtime since they understand that there is a lot going on.

Since it's such a dull but exciting week so I like to be comfortable but also look my best.

Here are some different first day looks that I like:

Casual First Day of Class

Lilly Pulitzer pink pullover / J.Crew chino shorts / Jack Rogers flats sandals / Longchamp real leather purse / Pendant jewelry / Essie nail polish, $17
First Day Of Class, Dressier

Forever 21 dress / Report flat shoes / MICHAEL Michael Kors tote bag / Tiffany & Co. bracelet / FOSSIL charm necklace / Vintage sunglasses

First Day of Class, Dressy Casual

Lilly Pulitzer navy top / American Eagle Outfitters white stretch jeans / J.Crew ballerina shoes / Kate Spade leather shoulder handbag / White necklace / Kate Spade tech accessory / Lilly Pulitzer agenda

What are some of your favorite first day looks?

I've talked about my style before and how I felt that I never really fit into a category. I've always been all over the style spectrum but last summer, after I started Royally Pink, I became accustomed to the preppy lifestyle.

There is one company that I've loved since finding out about them last summer which encompasses the preppy lifestyle of college students everywhere.

The Frat Collection is an up and coming clothing company that is targeted at relaxed, preppy college students. They have a number of items for both men, women, and children.

The Frat Collection is probably best known for their pocket (or frocket) tees--both long and short sleeved tees. The best thing about these frockets are that you can personalize them with your choice of pocket design. Everything from chevron stripes, polka dots, and other cool designs are choices for your pocket tees.

Aside from the traditional pocket tees, they have sweat shirts and button downs also.

Everything the Frat Collection has to offer is wonderful and clearly speaks volumes to the fratty, preppy college students around the country.

One of the best parts of The Frat Collection is that when you checkout, you have the option to donate 10% of your purchase to the charity of your choice. This is really meant for members of Greek organizations to donate to their chapter's philanthropy but if you're not Greek, you could choose whichever charity or philanthropy you please.

Go check out The Frat Collection today and use the discount code 'MILLSAPS' for 10% off your purchase!

I've talked about before how I gave up shopping for Lent  and successfully achieved that goal. That's why on Easter Sunday I went a tad bit crazy with purchasing online goodies (okay, I'm being dramatic, I ordered two things).

Those two items I bought happened to be Lilly!

Do you expect anything else?

I've been dying at the new patterns, especially Lucky Charms, and I was in desperate need of a new phone case. I combined those two wants and desires and allowed my mom to treat me with a new Lilly Pulitzer phone case.

I was hesitant only because the last Lilly case I ordered was a slight disappointment; I had read the reviews on the peeling paint and how dirty the case can get but purchased the first one anyway. My case did fall into that bad habit of having the paint peel off and it disappointed me.

I was hoping that the same thing wouldn't happen with this case and when I opened the packaging, I was pleasantly surprised.

Lilly obviously listened to their customer service and re did the case design. This phone case is harder silicone and not painted on like the older cases. It seems to have a protective covering that won't allow the paint to chip. It also has a thicker front border which will come in handy if my phone ever drops.

I'm pretty obsessed with my new case, it's beautiful and my iPHONE is so happy.

My other Lilly buy was their new mobile chargers. I know I'm not the only one whose iPHONE dies way too quickly and you're not always near an outlet or computer to plug in your phone to charge it up. I knew I was in desperate need of this mobile charger and I had been putting off buying it until Lent was over.

The charger is definitely smaller than I expected, which I'm fine with. I've been having some problems with it because it'll charge my phone for a few minutes and then stop. I'm thinking I just didn't charge it enough at the start so I went back to my room today to charge it for the appropriate 3 hours. I haven't tried it out yet so we'll see.

The charger has been sold out on the Lilly website for a while now; I ordered mine
off of Amazon but Lifeguard Press still has them so check it out!

Either way, I'll figure it out and be happy with the charger; it's too cute not to work!

I'm so happy to be back to my natural habitat of online shopping but not shopping for 40 days definitely curbed my spending and I won't go as overboard as I have in the past.

Hi, I'm Briana and I'm a Lilly-aholic.

I have no qualms about saying that I have a Lilly Pulitzer problem, I do. I have a Lilly planner, pencil case, phone case, iPAD case, bag, wristlet, scarf, and the list goes on.

I don't know what it is, I don't know if it's my sorority DNA but I cannot get enough of the Queen of Pink and Green.

That is exactly why when I found out that Estee Lauder was having a special Lilly Pulitzer free gift special, I freaked out.

I needed to get my hands on it and I knew exactly how that would happen; my aunt loves Estee Lauder so I mentioned that if she spent $35, I could get this Lilly make-up bag paired with some special goodies.

Thankfully my aunt loves me and I got what I had been pining over for a month.

I was in desperate need of a new travel make-up bag to carry in my purse/tote bag on an everyday basis and this one is perfect. It's soft, not too big but not too small; it's perfect for carrying the every day essentials.

With the bag came two adorable Lilly containers (which I have no idea what I'll use them for), a mascara, eye cream, neck cream, Advanced Night Repair, and a lipstick (I got the Exotic Orchid Shade, a light red color).

The quality of Estee Lauder is perfection and my love for Lilly is only growing.

I've expressed my love for monograms before and I've definitely taken my affection to a whole different level.

Also like I've said before, I got my iPHONE 4s a few weeks ago (YAY) and I thought I needed to prep it up.

I've seen home button decals everywhere recently and I thought they were SO cute. Therefore, I needed to buy one. (I have a shopping problem).

I went on Etsy.com (my new obsession), looked around, and found the best decals from Dixieland Monograms, a company that I've had my eye on for a while!

They had a number of different colors and had the wonderful option of ordering a Greek Letter decal (which obviously I bought).

They were pretty cheap; I got 2 decals for $6. I got my monogram in a purple color and my Greek letters in a deep pink.

I can't technically show you my decals because one is on my phone already and the other you can't open till you're ready to use but you can go to their Etsy site and look at the pictures and all the colors they have to offer.

I think my favorite thing about these stickers (besides how adorable they are) is the packaging! Dixieland really customized my order and made me feel special; it was such a delight to see my name written on the envelope containing my decals.

It really shows that they take pride in customer service and it really just
made my order that much more special.

On their website, Dixieland has SO much more to offer than decals; they seem
to have anything and everything monogrammed from hats to tumblers.

For your inner sorority girl, they sell
Lilly Pulitzer (LOVE) and have great items for Bid Day.

This is such a great company and I'm so happy with my iPHONE
home button decals and I can't wait to order more goodies from them!

Being away at college is a completely different experience than staying home, living in your parents house and commuting.

I will always persuade people to go away to college because it'll be the best four years of your life.

Nonetheless, being away at school is not just partying and living on your own; you still need to attend class and be a prepared student.

Aside from the typical dorm supplies such as mattress pads, bins, shoe racks, and an adorable comforter, I still love having all the great essentials needed for class.

1. Lilly Pulitzer Planner
I've expressed my love for this planner more than once. It's amazing
and it keeps me CRAZY organized. I'm in love!

2. Maybooks
Another thing I've gone overboard with talking about. I always feel the
need to have at least one extra notebook on hand at all times.
I have an excessive problem of making lists and sometimes
you just need more room to write other things; Maybooks
is perfect for that.

3. Vera Bradley Tote Bag
I have a bag problem; I would much rather spend money
on a good bag or tote than clothes any day.
My Vera tote is PERFECT for school; not too big,
not too small and they come in so many different
styles and patterns. Plus, because of the fabric it's made with, the straps
don't hurt your shoulders. I LOVE my Vera bag!

4. Eco Friendly Cup
I like bringing coffee or water with me to class and my Lilly Pulitzer
eco cup is great. I had a smaller one last year but I drink
so much water, I just had to keep refilling it. The Lilly cup
is so pretty in Navy Bloomers and a lot bigger than most
cups.

5. Vera Bradley Laptop Case
If you don't have a laptop case to protect your precious baby, you
are stupid. Seriously, it's necessary to have a good laptop case to carry
your laptop around campus in. Vera's cases are cute, pretty big, and
a great material. Basically anything from Vera is a A+ in my book.

6. ID Carded Wristlet
This is #1 in my book; all I carry on campus is my Lilly Pulitzer
Wristlet. I don't carry a bag (unless I'm headed to class) or a wallet, this is all you need.
It fits your phone, ID, cash, and credit cards, even a slot for a little lipgloss.
It's awesome!

Aside from these essentials, a great pencil pouch, a tiny makeup bag, and the typical stuff
like pens, notebooks, and a great binder.

These things will keep you more organized and ensure that you'll
have a great year.

Online shopping is my addiction but frankly, a college student's salary just doesn't support the purchases I want.

This summer I rediscovered the lovely Kate Spade and just fell in love with everything she puts out. I can't really afford everything I want from the website but I can fantasize, can't I?

Here are a few of my over the budget favorites!

Aren't these accessories just perfect? I always have been and always will be an accessories
gal. I love a good bag, wallet, or bracelet. That's why these items are on my wish list.

My mom will surely see some of these on my Christmas and Birthday lists.

If you haven't noticed, monograms are taking over the world! Everywhere I look, I see another monogrammed product!

In truth though, you can really monogram anything and everything; I have truly caught onto the obsession.

When I noticed the trend a few weeks back, I immediately needed a monogrammed SOMETHING and came across this fabulous site SwellCaroline which has beautiful jewelry and some wonderful monogrammed products.

I thought they had the best deal for an acrylic monogrammed necklace so I purchased it, a small acrylic monogrammed necklace in Ivory with a sterling silver chain. I thought it was a reasonable price and I really wanted it so I treated myself.

The necklace arrived about a month and a half later because of the personalization of it but it was well worth the wait! I've worn it to death by now and I get a ridiculous amount of compliments on it.

I'm so thrilled with the purchase!

More monogrammed goodness...Maybooks.com. I've spoken about this wonderful company before and my thoughts still stand.

The quality of their notebooks is incredible and the customization is on point.

When shopping for a notebook from Maybooks, you can put your trusty monogram on the cover in two different styles of script.

Having these eco friendly, gorgeous notebooks at my side are going to make my school year A LOT better.

I've found some other amazing monogrammed products that are on my wish list.

DKM Accessories is another great site with beautiful jewelry that I've fallen in love with. They have this gorgeous monogrammed bracelet. It's a bit above my price range but I'm putting it on my Christmas List because it's too beautiful and perfect to not have on my wrist.

Also on DKM, they have a great stretch monogrammed ring. It's a pretty good price and I've seen other people review it and it seems to have great quality. This is another thing on my wish list.

Finally, what phone isn't complete without a monogrammed phone case? I am patiently awaiting a purchase of an iPHONE (which will hopefully be coming within the next three weeks) and one of the first things I'll do is order a monogrammed phone case!

I found this adorable website, Three Hip Chicks which is a great preppy website for all your prepster purchases.

They have a GREAT selection of phone cases; there are so many choices to choose from and the prices are definitely within a reasonable price range.

Monograms are a classic "trend" that are never going to stray far away. Monograms seem to be here to stay.

I have an odd obsession with notebooks and planners. I love writing and I love being organized, there's nothing better.

I have quite a few empty, fancy notebooks just waiting to be used; too many notebooks, not enough time.

I love patterns, colors, and anything I can customize, and lately, I love monograms.

I've found something that perfectly combines all of those things.

Maybooks.com is a company where you can customize a notebook, planner, or another type of notebook with different colors, patterns, and can even add a monogram for an extra few bucks.

It's the ultimate preppy site for someone who loves chevron stripes, anchors, and a lot of color.

The notebooks are a pretty decent price, usually coming out to $17 not including tax and shipping.

They're the perfect pocket notebook, not too big or small, great for jotting down some thoughts or to do lists.

The books are soft canvas and very environmentally friendly.

I got mine a few weeks ago and I already started filling it up with random thoughts and ideas. A Maybook is a great thing to have.

I chose the Mod Rose Orchid in Mauve with an Octagon background shape along with my monogram in the Fancy Script print.

I plan on ordering another one ASAP, I'm addicted!

This is such a great company and everyone should go and buy their first Maybook today! You'll be addicted before you know it.
