For the past year or so, I've been off my Lilly Pulitzer kick. I don't know why but I just wasn't feeling anything they were releasing. It also might have something to do with the fact that Fall & Winter don't scream Lilly to me.

That all changed this past Spring when I was craving some color in my life. I ordered a new Lilly t-shirt at the start of summer but it didn't fit so I returned it. I got my Lilly Pulitzer Planner and even scored a Swell Bottle (which I've been loving - the bottles are still available!) so I've definitely been in the Lilly mood.

I've been wanting to rock my Lilly dresses all summer long but they are just too big on me now (Thank you Weight Watchers! It's definitely not a bad problem to have) so I wanted to invest in something new.



That feeling didn't really kick in until I saw all the New Arrivals and the new prints that Lilly recently put out. There was something that just clicked inside of me and I was truly inspired.

With this late summer collection, Lilly released a lot of pink and greens. They went back to their heritage and what they do best, with a modern twist. There are a lot of deep forest greens and baby pinks; it looks so grown up and sophisticated, I am running out to the Lilly store to get something.

Particularly, I'm lusting after everything in Pan's Garden and It's Prime Time -- they are definitely my favorite prints of the entire new batch.

I'm planning on buying the Raylee Dress in Inky Navy Peanut Gallery -- I'm obsessed with the flowing silhouette of the dress and the print. I feel like I could wear it right through fall since it's on the darker side!

I also have my eye on all the items below!

Last year I discovered a handbag company that is super unique and fun -- Danielle Nicole Handbags.

I don't know how I came across the brand but when I did, I fell in love.

Basically, it's a chic, Disney handbag company. Danielle Nicole is a real person and she started this handbag line after working and producing leather goods for Bergdorf Goodman, Neiman Marcus, and other high-end retailers.

That's the good thing about her company: she has actual, really pretty leather goods in addition to the fun Disney items.

Danielle Nicole has a licensing agreement with Disney to produce these handbags and accessories with our favorite Disney characters, so everything is legit and realistic.

Now, you're probably thinking where you would wear a Tinkerbell crossbody and yes, sometimes I have that thought too but at the same time, fashion is all about expressing yourself and being fun so if you want to show your Disney pride, go right ahead.

Not to be judgemental but there are plenty of people out there who wear what they want without a second guess so why can't you? Why can't I?

I am obsessed with Disney; it is such a big part of my life and makes me so happy so to have something so beautiful that represents Disney and is my favorite character is awesome. To know there is a company that loves Disney as much as I do is pretty cool.



I got my first piece of Danielle Nicole last year before I went to Disney on a work trip. I knew I wanted a fun Disney piece to take with me, but I also wanted something practical. That's why I went with the Mila backpack.

It's this adorable, white leather mini bag that came with Beauty and the Beast patches to stick on and add some Disney flair.

The great thing about the tote was that if you want to change the patches, you could really add whatever you wanted to the bag. You could also just leave it blank and not have any patches.

It was the perfect, small size to carry everything I needed around the park and also was comfortable to wear on my back.




When I came home I had the Disney itch so I bought a Sleeping Beauty PVC (which is now very in style) clutch. The outside doesn't have any Disney and the inside has the Sleeping Beauty design so once again, it's practical to use whether you want Disney or not.

Everything is really good quality and she even has jewelry exclusive to the Disney store. And like I said if Disney isn't your thing you could get a regular leather good from her.

Over the past year, Danielle Nicole expanded into Rugrats, Looney Toones, and Harry Potter items and they're all pretty awesome. I haven't bought anything from these collections yet but I do want too.

I have an obsession with this company and I love that it's created by a woman -- I love a good woman created company.

I've always had an extensive jewelry collection and storing it has always been an issue for me.



I've had every jewelry box under the sun, and even had a small mannequin stand to house all my pieces. However, nothing ever seemed good enough for me.

When I moved into this new apartment almost two years ago, I knew I wanted to be able to see all my jewelry so I could wear it all. I have a hard time using things I can't see. I also have a hard time wearing all my jewelry. I always go through phases where I don't want to wear certain types of jewelry. Right now, I can't stand wearing anything but rings and earrings... but I still want the option of knowing what I have in my collection.





When I moved in, I had the perfect idea. In my little shelving unit, where I house all of my lipsticks, I have the first shelf as my jewelry shelf.

My necklaces are divided amongst the metals; so I have silver hooks, rose gold hooks, and gold hooks. I love this type of organization because it makes everything so easy.

I have all my necklaces hung up on the side of the shelf, hanging on clear command hooks. My bracelets are in one jewelry dish while my rings are in a few others. (I have a lot of rings). My earrings lay in  4th jewelry dish, and this ensures that I can see all my pieces and have them go in and out of rotation.

It's not a really unique organization system but it works for me. Everything is seperated, on display, and gets used (when I'm in the mood). It's working for me for now!

I'm home from work today because I had to take my mom to the doctor's this morning. All is well and good, she just had to have a little routine procedure done.

Because of that, I switched up the editorial calendar a bit and what was supposed to be posted today will now be posted next week.

I didn't know what I wanted to write about because I have a lot of ideas but have been so scattered lately. I'm also fleshing out my entire October calendar so I wanted to save a few ideas for that.

So I figured I'd do a little random post...



If you didn't know, a few months ago I finally started to upload videos on my Youtube channel. I struggled at first with how to spilt content between the blog and Youtube but I think I've got it down pat, especially when I can make a blog post out of a video!

I don't post as consistently on the Youtube channel as I do here because filming and editing videos is a lot harder for me than writing a blog post. That being said, I am trying to amp it up a little bit and have at least a few ideas for more videos this month.

Last week I posted a video all about my Kate Spade accessories collection. Earlier I had posted a Kate Spade handbag collection and it has over 4K views (OMG) so I figured I'd see if lightning could strike twice and posted the accessories counterpart video.

This was such a short, weird week and I'm so confused LOL. I went to a Mets game yesterday with my office (it was our summer outing) and it was probably the hottest day of the year. I got so sick from the heat, I was out of commission all day. All day, it felt like a Saturday because my mom and my sister were home, and I wasn't going to work and I had off today. It really threw me off.

Today, I have a summer Friday so I'm taking it easy, may just go get a manicure and head to the gym. Tomorrow and Sunday I'll be at the Her Campus Her Conference and I'm actually really excited. Sometimes before these conferences, I get a little anxious and don't want to be bothered going into Manhattan, but this time I'm not feeling that.

The conference is going to be amazing this year with insane speakers, great sponsors, and a whole track dedciated to bloggers.

I'm also participating in a great campaign with one of my favorite companies (seriously, this is a dream collab) and I'm so excited to share that with you! There was a time when I was doing ok with controlling my handbag collection. I had sold a lot and wasn't buying any... I thought I had got it all under control.

Then, recently, something came over me and I just caught the bug again. I want all the handbags... I need all the handbags.

Everyone (cough Kate Spade cough) is coming out with their fall collections and I'm drooling hardcore. I also want to add a Louis Vuitton handbag to my collection so I have my eye on a lot of pre-loved items.



I've already given in to a want and purchased this gorgeous Rebecca Minkoff velvet bag from the Nordstrom Anniversary sale. I've always wanted one of her 'Love' bags and I thought this velvet one was just gorgeous. Velvet is super in so I'm ahead of the trend for once!

Kate Spade Cameron Street Perforated Large Lane: I have the small lane from last year's collection but when I saw this larger version in the perforated leather with rose detailing, especially in the Dolce color, I almost lost my mind. I haven't been able to think of anything for the past few weeks and I'm surprised I haven't just gone off the deep end and splurged. I'm trying to be responsible.



Rebecca Minkoff Leo Nubuck Clutch: I've been seeing this all over my Instagram feed and I just found it on Nordstrom.com. I love the color and the embroidered roses -- so on trend and perfect for the fall and winter.



Kate Spade Olive Street Brigette: I've started following a lot of the Kate Spade sales associates on Instagram.. their accounts are popping up all over and I can't get enough of the sneak peeks. Well, the Fifth Ave Muses posted this over the weekend and I lost my shit. How stunning is this? The satchel shape? The big bow? The color? I did some research and I think this was part of an older collection and they're bringing it back. It'll be available in August online but may be in stores now!



Louis Vuitton Pochette Metis: I have not stopped thinking of this bag in months. I need it. I want it. It's so pretty. I saw it in person for the first time on the train yesterday and I almost fell up the escalator. I have a Speedy 30 and it's amazing but the Pochette Metis is modern and classic at the same time. Please go look up a review on Youtube because this bag is something everyone should have.

July is here and the summer is almost over! We're so close to Fall!

Ok I'll stop now! I don't like when people remind me that winter is ending and spring is coming so I'll spare all you summer lovers!

I'm writing this on 4th of July because my plans got canceled and I haven't been feeling too great this weekend. I was super hungover on Sunday and I was running errands all day Monday so I feel like my body hasn't had a chance to truly catch up with itself. The good news is that I work Wednesday & Thursday and I'm off again on Friday -- this is the ultimate summer week.

As we move further into the summer, the weeks are going to get busier so I need to get my sh*t together. Trips, conferences, and fun things are going to happen within the next few weeks!

For now, however, let's get into my June favorites!



1. J.Crew Drapey Tank Top: I ordered one of these tank tops at the beginning of the season and fell in love with it. It's so comfortable and you can dress it up or down, depending on where you're going. It goes with everything-- jeans, leggings, shorts. I was so obsessed that I went back to J.Crew Factory and bought one in every color. I have purple, salmon, grey, black, and blue. I might have to go get the white one just to complete the collection.

2. Friday + Saturday Brunette Baseball Hat: I've been wanting to get into the baseball hat trend for a while but I wanted a cute, punny one. I saw this one on Shop Riff Raff and couldn't pass it up. It's so cute and makes any outfit a touch more casual and trendy. I haven't stopped wearing it all month long!

3. NARS Liquid Blush in Orgasm: I ravved about this in a post and a video this month but I had to mention it again. It's the only blush I've been wearing and it looks so natural and gorgeous, you could make it the only product you're wearing!

4. Benefit Total Moisture Face Cream: My skin has been on the drier side lately, which is weird for the hot summer but the one product that has been really helping me is the Benefit Cosmetics moisturzer. I talked about it my latest beauty video and while I haven't pulled the trigger on a full size yet, I will soon because I'm running out of the sample. It's super thick and hydrating but doesn't leave your skin greasy or tacky like you'd think a heavy cream would. It's so gooooooood!

I'm back with another handbag review and we're doing a Kate Spade one! I have (had) a lot of Kate Spade bags in my collection and they are by far my favorite. 

Handbag reviews are probably going to be my favorite series on the blog because I love handbags more than anything in the world and I have a lot.

I went on a Henri Bendel kick a few months back and bought 3 handbags within a few weeks of each other (whoops -- that's what happens when you have a Henri Bendel credit card and they have awesome sales).

I felt like I needed a regular sized everyday handbag. All the bags I've been buying were either tote bags for work or mini handbags. There was nothing I really had in my collection anymore that could be a regular sized everyday bag.

I was buying my aunt a birthday gift (I got her this bag) and saw that the Stanton Top Handle Tote was on sale. I've seen this bag on Henri Bendel's Instagram before and saw that it looked like the Celine Belt Bag, which I adore. Why not just get the cheaper verison from a brand I already love?





The Stanton Top Handle Tote was on sale and I got it for a ridiculous price, and I decided to purchase it in black because believe it or not, I didn't have a black handbag.

I really like this bag -- it's a good size and fits everything you need, and I also really like how it only has one top handle. There's something very uniform and chic about one strap bags. It of course also comes with a shoulder strap which is super handy. The bottom has also four feet that are super handy for when you have to put your bag on the ground; the bottom won't get scratched up or dirty.






The bag is a decent weight, not too heavy or too light and the material is a nice grainy leather. There's one zipper pocket inside along with two smaller pockets which is also a plus. My favorite part is probably the back slip pocket on the outside of the bag because it's a perfect size for your phone and other things you may need in a pinch... which brings me to my next point.

The one con that I have to say about this bag is that the magnetic closure clasp does get a little annoying to keep going in and out of. You can't just leave it open and have easy access. Also, the flap doesn't stay open, you have to hold it up to get in and out of the bag.

Like I said, I like this bag and it's a decent size for everyday. It's just not as practical to get in and out of like a zipper only bag would be.

Do I recommend this bag? Yes definitely but to an extent. If you're not bothered by constantly lifting up a flap and are comfortable just keeping your phone and keys on the outside pocket (which I am). I think it's a sleek, beautiful, simple bag that is high quality, classic yet still trendy!

I feel like I should've gotten past my Kate Spade obsession by now but this phase has lasted for quite a long time.

I've always gone through phases over obsessing about something but this Kate Spade phase is nowhere near over. I think this is a long-term love affair and I'm quite ok with that.

I spend a majority of my time on the Kate Spade website, browsing the new sale items and adding to my wishlist. I always find something that I'm lusting after.

That's what inspired me to write this post... that, and the fact that Coach just purchased them for $2.4 billion.




Kate Spade is pretty good at releasing new products and I feel like it's more than once a season that we get a new collection. A few months ago it was their Moroccan inspired collection with colorful prints, camels, and fringe everywhere... now they just released their floral inspired collection with bright greens, pinks, and blues. I personally really love this collection and really want to buy this bag because it's a nice little crossbody.



They also just released their convertible bags; they've taken their convertible straps, stickers and bag charms to the next level and you can swap out covers for two different bags, the Byrdie and Candance Satchel.

There are so many different covers for each bag, giving them totally different looks. One of these is on my list but I may wait until my birthday to ask for it.

Below are some of my latest wants from Kate Spade!

Hello there! I'm back in New York after a long winded week in Florida. I was there for a special Ulta Beauty conference but it was an extended trip because we had an event at a local Orlando Ulta on Friday May 5th, otherwise I would've been home Wednesday night.

I do really like traveling and I'm happy to have a job that allows me to do that. Yes, the only places I really have been are to QVC in Pennsylvania and Florida, it's still a great experience. I've never flown alone before starting my job and it's definitely something that made me anxious the first time. Now I feel like an old pro and I throughly enjoy traveling alone. There's no one holding you up in the airport and you can go at your own pace, plus it's nice to just have some quiet alone time. I also feel super fancy walking through the airport alone, like I'm important enough to be by myself (does that make sense)




Anyways, it was a great trip with lots of laughs and lots of business. I got there Tuesday afternoon and jumped right into some work, with Wednesday being the day of the conference. Friday was another day filled with work but Thursday was my favorite because we got to go to Disneyworld.

I was really exhausted after my flight on Tuesday (it took off at 8 AM) and I don't think that I ever recovered. I was really tired the entire trip and as I write this on Sunday, I still don't feel completely back together. I'm very sensitive to everything from travel to the weather so anything will disrupt my routine/being. It was very taxing on me to be so tired for the entire trip but I took some naps and powered through.

We stayed at the Wyndam Orlando Resort and it was really nice. The hotel wasn't too crowded and I really liked that there was a bunch of hotel buildings instead of just one. It felt very tropical. I didn't sit by the pool at all but it was a nice pool. The food was also delicious even though I only ate at this hotel twice.




The weather in Florida was spectactular. It wasn't too hot or humid, even at Disney -- I was so pleased with this.

The trip in general was great, my flights were good for the most part (I got way motion sickness on both and both flights were delayed)

Now, let's talk about Disney. I haven't been to Disneyworld since I was 14 years old so 10 years later, I was so excited! I got my Disney backpack from Danielle Nicole Handbags at Macy's and it was the perfect little bag to bring to an amusement park, and the fact that it's so festive is just a plus! It was comfortable on my back the entire time and fit so much... it's very deceiving in size!



The day was perfect; sunny with some clouds but not too hot or humid. We only went to the Magic Kindgom but in my mind, that's all you need if you want to experience Disney.









We went on a handful of rides: Space Mountain, Jungle Cruise, Pirates of the Caribbean, Speedway, Winnie the Pooh, the Tea Cups, and the Runaway Train. I really wanted to go on Peter Pan's Flight because it's my favorite but there just wasn't enough time in the day. We finished dinner at Tony's (the Lady and the Tramp inspired restuarant) we were going to go on It's a Small World, the Haunted Mansion, and Peter Pan's Flight but we wanted to shop and see the fireworks show, and there just wasn't enough time.

I was so tired at this point I didn't even care.

We got some Disney treats like Mickey Mouse icecream, ate lunch in Tomorrowland, and shopped down Main Street. I got a Cinderella ring, Mickey Mouse Birthstone studs, a Neverland shot glass, a Chip (Beauty & The Beast) mug, and a magnet. I went a little crazy but I was feeling the Disney magic.

Like I said, I haven't been to Disney in so long and going as an adult is something I highly recommend. Go without kids, go with a small group... I now understand why people go on Bachelorlette parties and Honeymoons -- it's so incredibly magical to be in Disney. You transform into a child with child like wonder and it made me so happy. I honestly cannot remember the last time I felt so light, worry free, and happy.

I've always been a Disney kid and I'm currently watching Aladdin; I love the message of all the Disney films and just the wonder that it brings to my life. It reminds me of a simple time when you had nothing to worry about and you were a child with not a care in the world. Being in Disney was so great and I could cry thinking about it.





I actually did cry at Disney; when I turned down mainstreet and saw Cinderella's castle, and during the fireworks show. The show is called "Wishes" and is based around all the 'wishes' made in Disney movies. At one point during the  show a voiceover of all the time wishes are mentioned in Disney movies such as "Genie, I wish for your freedom!", "I wish I could never grow up!" "I wish I was a real boy" and hearing that just sent me over the edge. I have never been so impressed with a firework show.

This is also going to be replaced with a new show on May 12th called "Happily Ever After" which I'll be excited to see next time I go... which I will be going; I want to go every single year!

So that is my little recap -- I hope it wasn't too boring or long but I just wanted to share the trip with you all!
