I know that it's Cyber Monday and I know that I should be a good blogger and post all the deals I'm shopping but honestly, I am exhausted from all the sales going on. My email inbox is insane and it was just super overwhelming to comb through everything.

The entire Cyber Week was incredibly hectic and while it was nice to not be bombarded on Black Friday, Cyber Monday was a different story.

To put it simply, I shopped Kate Spade, Glossier, Nordstrom, and J.Crew Factory this Cyber Week. Throw in some Baublebar & Alex & Ani and you've covered everything. I bought gifts for others and gifts for myself... it was pretty normal.

Anyways... I should also point out that this post is later in the day because yesterday (Sunday) I was out all day and Saturday I was just not in the mood to open my computer. I felt very off over the long weekend  and I need to get back on track.

That being said, I still wanted to share this post because I think it's super important.

I am the queen of online shopping and I online shop more than I shop in store. I think that goes for a lot of us, and especially around this time of year. Malls and stores are crawling with people and those of us who are super tech savvy like to shop from the comfort of our beds and couches.

However, more people shopped online on Black Friday then in stores which is CRAZY so online shopping is definitely on the up & up, especially for people who do not usually shop online.

With more people shopping online, it's super important to be safe while doing so. It's always important to make sure you're shopping on safe, secure sites, and just being mindful of what sites you're putting your credit card information into.

No matter how small or big the website is, they're prone to hacking but there are ways to even further protect yourself.

I ccameacross this infographic from LifeLock on the risks of online shopping... I won't lie, this made me SO NERVOUS but with these tips, everything will be smooth sailing.



1. Shop on sites you trust: If you've heard horror stories about certain websites (Limecrime cough cough) don't shop there! Stick to the sites you know and love and maybe don't try anything new just yet.

2.  Do Your Research: If a website that you find on Instagram seems a little sketchy, your gut instinct is probably right. If you really want that sweater on the Instagram sponsored ad, do some research and check out the site to see if it's legit and to see what other customers have to say about their experience.

3. If It Seems Too Good to Be True, It Is: I found a website a few weeks ago that had Louis Vuttion bags for like $300. It seemed way too perfect so I did some research and the website was a scam. It just proves that if a price is too low, it's probably not safe to shop.

4. Avoid Public Wifi: Don't use the wifi at work or at Starbucks when doing your holiday shopping. Public wifi is more prone to hacking and idenitify theft. Just wait until you're home with your own, safe, password protected wifi.

5. Before Of Email Scams: Avoid opening emails from unknown senders or emails with weird subject lines. Sometimes you may think something is being sent from your favorite retailer but there could be a slight change in the name. Just always be on the look out for a scam...

I apologize because I know every blogger is posting about this sale today and I swore I wouldn't, until I logged onto Nordstrom.com today and saw what was staring back at me.

This sale is SO GOOD. I think it's the best it's been in years.

I'm so overwhelmed right now, this may not even make sense. I'm so excited for this sale, there is so much I want, and I'm so excited for fall.




I already ordered this NARS Multiple kit and this diptyque Scented Candle set.

I don't really have a strategy for the sale but I do know that I like to order the beauty products first because those are the items that are exclusive to the sale and once they sell out, they're not coming back. Usually, the clothing will come back in stock after the sale is over but the prices are higher. So my go-to is grab beauty while you can!

There are lots of good beauty deals but I think I'm going to stick with clothes and accessories for the rest of the sale. I don't need any more beauty products but I think the one thing everyone should pick up is a Clarisonic. It's on sale for $86 which is a steal .. check out my Clarisonic post (I'm obsessed and I've had two different ones!)

I also really like this water bottle set ($50 is a bit pricey but for two of them, you could justify it) and I'm obsessed with my Laura Geller Just Blushing Palette. It's not avaialble anywhere else and it's the perfect travel palette with gorgeous, pigmented blushes so get it while you can.

*PS this is also just more of a wishlist for me so I have all the things I want in one place*  

This was originally going to be a post on my favorite apps but honestly, I don't use many unique apps. I have the typical ones every has: Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Weather, a period tracker, some shopping apps, my Jawboneup app, and that's pretty much it.

I blame my storage situation -- seriously, I have no storage left on my phone.

The app that inspired this post though? Slice.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, I have an online shopping problem. Because of this, I get packages on a weekly basis and I like to keep track of all of them. I used to keep a note in my phone of all the packages I was expecting. I used to keep the tracking and order confirmation emails in my inbox until they were delivered. I also (like every other person in the world) obsessively tracked the packages.

Well, I now have an app that I didn't even know I needed -- and I didn't even know it existed and I'm pretty sure I forgot where I found out about it but my goodness it's amazing.




Slice tracks all your online orders. It gives you notifications when your order has been shipped, if your order is delayed, and when your package is delivered. You can also opt in for notifications of price drops of the items you've ordered in the past.




It keeps everything in one neat little place and you don't have to keep your inbox filled to the brim with shipping notifications. All your tracking numbers are in one place and you could click to them instantly.

I think my favorite feature is that it notifies you when your package is delivered, mostly because I am mostly at work when my packages are delivered  but its just a nice reminder for when they show up.

I don't think this is an app that a lot of people know about or talk about and I just had to express my love for it!

A few weeks back when I went to my first NYFW event, I received a gift card to Shoptiques in my goodie bag. Shoptiques is an online store that houses a bunch of smaller boutiques that sell everything from clothes to shoes to accessories.

It's the most adorable little website that has something for everyone. The prices vary from $30-$100 and even more but like I said, there is something for every price and every style.

I was browsing, looking to spend my giftcard and knew I wanted a beautiful sweater. After quickly looking through the website, I decided on this little cardigan sweater and oh my goodness, I cannot wait for it to arrive! This is gorgeous for work or even for running errands on the weekend. I can't wait to wear it all fall & winter long.

I still have some money left over on my giftcard after buying the sweater and this little number is on my wishlist next. This is something I could also wear to work but it's a little dressier (in my opinion) and could definitely work for a weekend dinner with friends or family.
