Another week has come and gone. I was sick & tired most of the week, trying to recover from my travels. I took today off from work and slept in -- now I'm just resting on the couch for the rest of the day and do not plan on moving.

I feel like my body can't handle much so when I'm traveling nonstop, and haven't taken a day off to recover since traveling to Florida, you know I'm bound to get sick and be mentally & physically drained.

There have been some exciting happenings this week-- I found out I'm going to LA (never been) for work in July AND my family & I found an apartment!

Its so beautiful, I have my own (huge) room, and I can't wait to decorate it galore. Expect lots and lots of design posts soon!

I also FINALLY invested in a camera...a REAL LIFE CAMERA. I'm hoping that this will be a great investment for my blog and finally give me the resources to take amazing pictures and maybe record videos. We shall see!

I bought the Nikon Cool Pix L340 and so far, it's super simple to use. I use a Canon at work and this is a lot easier (and a lot less fancy). I'm obsessed so far!

This week, I finished The Selection series. The author released the final book in the series "The Crown" and while I was really unhappy with the ending of the final book, the series as a whole was my top 5 favorite series ever. I will do a book review post on the series as a whole but if you've been wanting to read these books, go NOW.

Now, onto the links of the week!

Happy Friday!

I had a three day work week this week. Yes, three.

Memorial Day & then my summer Fridays started today so I'm off from work every other Friday. It was a short, eventful, stressful week but nonetheless, it happened and its over.

I am in another long, much needed weekend mode with a packed schedule of doctor's appointments, a keratin treatment for my hair, hopefully going to the Mad Men museum, lots of blogging, photo taking, some shopping, and maybe laying out in the sun if the weather permits.

So a lot of nonsense is planned, as per usual!

I was very proud of myself that I wrote 5 blog posts on Sunday AND scheduled all my social media. That is more than I've done in over a month and I'm looking to keep up the momentum.

I don't have much to say because it's 9:30 PM on Thursday, I'm tired, and my brain is just not working properly.

I thought I had a lot more links but these are pretty hefty and I really enjoyed all of them! Keep an eye out next week for one or two more posts than usual

Happy weekend everyone!

What did you love this week?

I am writing this post from my BRAND NEW LAPTOP. Yup... my good old Macbook was not cutting it anymore. The battery was shot, it lost a charge within 30 minutes, the bottom was peeling off (weird), and it was just going SO SLOW.

It was so frustrating, as a person who uses a computer 24/7 (for work especially), to not be able to have a functioning device.

This had been a long time coming but I finally just bit the bullet. I knew I wouldn't be able to afford a Macbook Air for a while and I needed a quick, cheap alternative. After much research (and some kind blogger ladies opinions) I purchased an Acer Google Chromebook.

I'm going to do a full blog post on it within the next two weeks but spoiler alert: I LOVE IT.

Anyways... this week NYC got hit with yet another snow storm and as I'm writing this on Thursday night, I've been stuck in the house all day, working from home, and trying to resist eating everything in sight. Oh post grad life...

I've been having good weeks (knock on wood) and I'm really thankful for that. I hope more good things are to come!

Here's what I was loving this week on the Internet :)

The best drugstore beauty products used by celebrity makeup artists--YES PLEASE

There was a lot of anxiety talk on the Internet this week-- here and here are breathtaking stances.

Crust is amazing and my mouth is watering.

As an Associate Community Manager for a few brands, I cannot tell you how accurate this is. People actually say these things on social media.

The Real Housewives of NYC --AND Bethenny Frankel are back. I'M SO EXCITED.

Have a great weekend everyone!

Well this is late and I realized I missed a 'Links' post last week #bloggerfail.

This was an exceptionally good week for me. I mostly worked from home, thankfully because the cold here in NYC should be illegal. I've never felt a chill much like -9 degrees and I hope no one else has to experience this.

I made a trip up to campus this week for Big/Little night and it was like I hit my refresh button. Big/Little is my favorite night of the year and I'd say most sorority girls agree with me. There's something so innocent and special about a new member turning around and seeing her big sister. I get the chills and cry every.single.time.

This was extra special because I finally became a GREAT Grandbig...so yeah I'm really old but she's a precious little nugget and I'm so excited for my entire sorority.

A little brunette family tree loving :)

Being up at school with my sorority sisters and my best friends, I have never felt more like myself. I've been in such a rut lately and being there, seeing everyone, it was just the best medicine. I came home feeling refreshed and happier (and a little more tired #postgrad) but it was wonderful.

I'm in for a fun yet relaxing weekend of dinner and drinks with my girlfriends, resting, and blogging...and then the Oscars on Sunday so it'll be good.

Here's what I was loving this week (and a little from last week):

A very interesting and incredible write up about some of my favorite bloggers and the blogging industry!

I'm a semi morning person and I find these all to be true.

The 2:30pm feeling is alive and real, I promise you.

I always have serious FOMO about fashion week and this helped me feel a bit better about it.

Dark chocolate vs. milk chocolate....I'm a dark chocolate kind of gal.

I could get on board with these February drugstore buys!

What'd you love this week?

God, this week sucked. Anxiety was on another level, one crisis after another, and I'm pretty sure I'm getting sick. The only thing getting me through is knowing Christmas is in a few days and the fact that I've watched 6 seasons of Californication in one week. (Seriously, Hank Moody is awesome)

I also have so many gifts to still buy this weekend, hence my post on last minute gift ideas, so the stores are calling my name.

I don't want to ramble so here are some things I loved this week:

Happy weekend before Christmas everyone :)

It's less than a week till Thanksgiving, a little more than a week till my 22nd birthday, and on December 1st it's my favorite day of the year—Cyber Monday. There's so much going on but yet, I feel like there's nothing to look forward too.

This week I realized I need to make moves. I need to buckle down and get my shit together. No more crying, Briana. Stop feeling sorry for yourself and get a grip on your life because the world isn't stopping because you feel depressed.

This week was kind of a wake up call and I'm going to try to stick to it...maybe even start my New Years Resolutions on my 22nd birthday. We'll see how it goes.

I'm crazily excited for Thanksgiving. It's my favorite holiday, mostly because it's an excuse to eat gross amounts of food and it's near my birthday.

Enough of my blabbering... here is what I positively loved this week:

Okay, yeah, that was a lot of articles but they all inspired me and made me feel good this week.

Happy weekend everyone :)

This week was terribly slow. It felt like every hour was ticking by as I watched the clock. Do you ever feel like you're waiting for something amazing to happen; like we're always waiting for the day to end, waiting for the weekend, waiting, waiting, waiting.

I felt that for real this week; like I was just waiting for my life to begin meanwhile I am living my life. I really need to take more advantage of everything around me and stop making excuses.

Maybe that'll be my goal for the age of 22; not a new year's resolution but a new, older me, resolution.

As you can assume, my anxiety was on high this week. Everything annoyed me, everything made me nervous. I couldn't get a grip, yet again.

I think things will get better this weekend and in the upcoming weeks because there is so much goodness around--brunch with my sorority sisters, Thanksgiving, my birthday, and then holiday shopping and Christmas!

Here's to a better day, a better week and a better life!

I have never been so happy to see Friday. I can't even begin to tell you how EXCITED I am that it's the weekend.

Do I have exciting plans? No. Am I going out for Halloween? No.

My plans are to not move from my couch starting right now till Sunday night. After the exciting, fun October I had, I am in desperate need of a resting period.

November is going to be quite exciting (MY BIRTHDAY #22) and I need a transition weekend.

This week went so slow and I don't think it was just me who felt like that. It was Wednesday and I was watching the clock constantly, praying for Thursday night. It was actually painful.

Anyways, mix exhaustion and a slow week and you have an unhappy Bri. I am going to do be doing some retail therapy today so that will definitely make me brighter :) I will 100% do a haul post because that's what bloggers do.

This is the first Halloween in 4 years (#sadcollegegrad) I'm not getting drunk or dressing up and I could actually care less.

Enough blabbering, here is what I'm loving this week:

What are your Halloween plans? What are you dressing up as? Tell me in the comments :) Happy Friday and Happy Halloween!

Happy Friday! I cannot believe it's already Friday. I feel like this week flew by, did anyone else? Maybe it's because I had the best weekend last week--the best one I've had in a while.

If you follow me on Twitter or Instagram you might've seen that I returned to my alma mater for Homecoming weekend. Homecoming is a HUGE deal at Iona. We have no football team but that doesn't stop us.

Little and Big :)

The whole dam fam #TSM

My sisters are the greatest, most beautiful ladies I know
We day drink, have fun with campus activities and root for our friends who are running for Homecoming Court. Usually, this is the first weekend that alumni come back and the Class of 2014 took over campus. It was glorious.

It was wonderful to be back in my element with all my sorority sisters, my favorite fraternity men, and all my former classmates. It was just what I needed...a weekend acting like a college student.

I think homecoming started off my week on a great note and aside from an anxiety attack or two, it was a pleasant week.

Next week is Halloween and I have zero plans. Anyone have any ideas? As of now I'm planning on being cuddled up on the couch with some candles, a book, and Hocus Pocus playing on repeat. That sounds lovely compared to my days of dressing up and drinking at a bar.

Anyways, here is what I LOVED this week.

But really, who else is excited about Bethenny coming back to the RHONJ?! I LOVE HER!

Happy weekend everyone! What was the highlight of your week?

I skipped a Links to Love post last week because I was SO tired on Thursday night. I know that sounds like an exaggeration but I literally got into bed at 7pm. Seriously...pajamas on, lights off at 7pm. Can you say GRANDMA.

It's no secret that I've been having a tough time lately but I must say, the past two weeks have been great. I haven't been as anxious or stressed, I've had more energy (aside from Thursday), and I've just been in better spirits.

It's a fantastic feeling and I hope it continues. The rest of October starts tonight when I reunite with some of my college friends, then my Little's (sorority) birthday brunch on Sunday, and next weekend is HOMECOMING. My first homecoming as an alumnae is going to be difficult but my goodness it's going to feel great to be back in my element.

I've had a great week, seriously, just in the best mood and I hope you all have a great weekend :) For now, let's get into my favorite links of the week!

Sex and the City rumors are flying... here and here may prove that theory.

I'm writing this as I'm sipping on Moscato, wearing a face mask, and watching #Scandal. I'd say that's a pretty great way to end the week.

I will admit, I had a fantastic week. It started off we me seeing my best friends on Sunday and ends with Scandal. I was in good spirits aside from some minor mood swings because hey, I'm a girl.

I will also admit that I think writing my post grad update post and sharing that with the world helped. I received a lot of kind words from my friends and from all of you so thank you. It's very scary writing something as intense as that and clicking publish. You know I don't get personal with you and some personal posts have bit me in the ass so yeah....

Anyways, I hope next week is just as good as this one but for now, I'm in need of a relaxing weekend and some R&R, maybe even a digital detox.

For now, here are my favorite links from the week:

What are your plans for the weekend? Let me know in the comments!

TGIF! Even with the short week, I felt like this week dragged on. I didn't quite feel like myself, mostly because my mood was happy but at the same time, I was totally exhausted. I think toward the end of the week (last night) I was overtired and couldn't rest still.

I couldn't quite catch up this week, it felt like I was going and going but then too tired to do anything. I'm truly all over the place, all the time.

It was an eventful week for many reasons. First, I was so so sad when news broke yesterday of Joan River's passing. She was never my favorite because I felt she was too tough on people for no reason but then I must remember she was always first and foremost a comedian. She was a true icon for women everywhere and I didn't realize how much she had paved the way for other successful women in the media. It feels weird that just last week I was watching her on the red carpet and on Fashion Police and now she's gone forever. She was always someone you just kind of expected to be there and now it's odd that she's gone. She was a true icon.

Second, if you're a blogger or just have a social media pulse you'll know it's New York's Fashion Week (#NYFW). I'm having true and serious FOMO and I just want to be glamorous and successful at all these shows. I guess I'll just have to watch from the sidelines aka blog posts, Twitter, and Instagram.

With those two huge events and my chronic exhaustion, there was still a lot of love on the Internet this week. Here are my favorites:

Stop overthinking, it's going to kill you***** (DESPERATELY NEED TO LIVE BY THIS ARTICLE)

SO MANY LINKS I'M SORRY.

Happy weekend everyone :)

This week was a lot less aggressive. I was in a bright, cheery mood all week and sometimes it's so ridiculous how shocked I am when I'm actually happy for more than three days in a row. Someone give me some mood pills because this is cray.

Syllabus week at my alma mater was in full swing over the past few days and I'm about to delete all my friends and sisters off Snapchat because it's too painful #TakeMeBack.

It's a super super long weekend and I hope I find something fun and exciting to do #LDW. We'll see!

In the meantime, here are my favorite links from the week, there are some good ones :)

Happy Labor Day Weekend! :)

This was an incredibly long, dragged out, stressful and tiresome week. I'm happy that it's finally Friday and just hoping for a better week ahead of me!

Just like there are every week, there were loads of links, articles and quizzes that kept me sane! Also a nice little surprise in the mail warmed my heart.

I won Preppy Love's May Designs giveaway a few weeks back and my customized notebook arrived in the mail. I chose a nautical themed, lobster print because that seems to be really popular nowadays and I instantly fell in love.

Follow me on Instagram for more pictures like this :)

I was also surprised to see my testimony from a recent Her Campus Blogger Network survey on the homepage. I truly love being part of the HCBN; it has given me so many opportunities and it's such a great place to meet and work with fellow bloggers.

If you have a blog and want to apply to become part of the HCBN, go to this link and see it all for yourself :)

Here are some of my favorite links from the week!

What did you love this week? Tell me in the comments!!

It was a short week it seemed like and I had my fair share of fun. The SGG Conference was a blast and I can't wait to fill you all in next week! Tomorrow I head to the Her Campus Conference and I can't wait to meet all my fellow HC Bloggers.

Even with the short week and the not so great (hot, sticky and humid) weather, there were a ton of articles, lists, and blog posts to love.

What did you love reading this week?
