I have expressed my love for Bethenny Frankel on the blog before and with her return to Real Housewives of New York this season, the love has not gone anywhere.

That love was further reinstated when I listened to her newest book "I Suck At Relationships So You Don't Have To". I was weary of listening to this only because I didn't know what to expect. I thought it was all about warning signs and maybe some stuff I couldn't relate too. There were definitely some things that I couldn't grasp because I've never been married (nor have I had an ACTUAL boyfriend) and I surely haven't been divorced but the nonetheless, this was an extremely helpful book.

Listening to Bethenny read you the book is even better. Hearing her voice and hearing everything explained to you seems so much better than just reading about it. I feel like I was able to absorb a lot of the information a whole lot better.

The book is set up into 10 chapters, each chapter a different "tip". Throughout the book, Bethenny's therapist puts his own input in, and either contradicts what Bethenny says or agrees with her. If you've followed Bethenny's journey and know her well, you know she can be hard on herself and is very strongly opinionated so having her therapist offer his advice was an added bonus.

A lot of people may not agree with what Bethenny says, a lot of it puts down men and simplifies them down to sex, sports, food, and work... but I mean, there's some truth there.

In my opinion, Bethenny does no wrong and I truly trust her opinion--she is hands down one of my role models, for her business success, but also I feel like we are similar in a lot of ways so I can really relate to her (even if she is 20 years older than me).

I'll be honest, I listened to this book over a month ago so I don't remember everything but it is one of the most valuable books I've ever had come into my life. When I would listen on the train, I would have to stifle a smile because everything I was hearing was SO true! It was amazing...it was like having an epiphany every single time I listened to the book.

A lot of the book may be lessons you already know about relationships, some may not apply to you, and some you may not agree with but I have to say, Bethenny knows what she's talking about. She has a firm grip on the subject and uses her own relationships as examples.

A few things stuck out to me the most, some of which were repeated the most in the book, were this.

1. Men & women are drastically different: What is important to a woman may not be important to a man. We think differently, we express emotions differently, we want and need different things. We are total opposites. While you, as a woman, may think something is a huge deal, your boyfriend won't even know that was a "thing." This isn't bashing men, because maybe some men are more sensitive than others, but the way Bethenny explains it is just so true.

2. Stop overthinking: Women are natural over-thinkers and we create scenarios up in our head. We convince ourselves that these scenarios are true and we get mad because we have convinced ourselves that these scenarios are true. Sometimes, we expect people to react a certain way because we have convinced ourselves that they will, then we get upset/mad or are pleasantly surprised when that person reacts differently from what is in our head. I do this in all aspects of life and to listen to Bethenny say this is natural for women, made me feel better. I mean, we should still  all try to not to do this but we're all in the same boat which is reassuring.

3. Think & breathe before you act: Have you ever seen something that has made you so irrationally mad that you need to take care of it right then and there? Raise your hand if this is you! (*raising hand*). Have you ever wanted to just fix something you're upset about and not let it sit and fester? (*raising two hands*). When I'm upset, I need it to be fixed immediately. I don't like to sit and think about it for too long because I just make myself more upset and more angry. Women are fixers and we like to get shit done immediately. When we see a problem, we want immediate results. Men aren't like this, some women aren't even like this, but then again, some are. Bethenny recommends waiting one day before approaching the problem. Think rationally, let it sit, think about all the possibilities. Don't just unleash a world of anger and emotion all at once. Think about what the problem is and approach that one issue--don't lump your problems together and unleash a rath of fury. Take some time to get your emotions in check. Never fight when you're emotional.

There were so many other amazing lessons in the book, I can't remember them all, but those three are what I related to the most and I think I will keep them with me for a long time.

I would HIGHLY recommend this to EVERYONE. Seriously, if you're just starting out dating, just getting out of a relationship, in between boyfriends, or in a serious, committed relationship--everyone and anyone I think could get some enlightenment and advice from this book.

Have you read this book? Any other relationship books you have read and loved? Tell me in the comments!

I had a three day work week this week. Yes, three.

Memorial Day & then my summer Fridays started today so I'm off from work every other Friday. It was a short, eventful, stressful week but nonetheless, it happened and its over.

I am in another long, much needed weekend mode with a packed schedule of doctor's appointments, a keratin treatment for my hair, hopefully going to the Mad Men museum, lots of blogging, photo taking, some shopping, and maybe laying out in the sun if the weather permits.

So a lot of nonsense is planned, as per usual!

I was very proud of myself that I wrote 5 blog posts on Sunday AND scheduled all my social media. That is more than I've done in over a month and I'm looking to keep up the momentum.

I don't have much to say because it's 9:30 PM on Thursday, I'm tired, and my brain is just not working properly.

I thought I had a lot more links but these are pretty hefty and I really enjoyed all of them! Keep an eye out next week for one or two more posts than usual

Bethenny Frankel is a powerhouse and IDC what you say

I do way too many of these things and I DO secretly love them

Love the one who waited

Justin Bieber, you have done it again. #ovariesGONE

#ForeverHungry

Mad Men just got all of us. I miss it already

Happy weekend everyone!

What did you love this week?

I am writing this post from my BRAND NEW LAPTOP. Yup... my good old Macbook was not cutting it anymore. The battery was shot, it lost a charge within 30 minutes, the bottom was peeling off (weird), and it was just going SO SLOW.

It was so frustrating, as a person who uses a computer 24/7 (for work especially), to not be able to have a functioning device.

This had been a long time coming but I finally just bit the bullet. I knew I wouldn't be able to afford a Macbook Air for a while and I needed a quick, cheap alternative. After much research (and some kind blogger ladies opinions) I purchased an Acer Google Chromebook.

I'm going to do a full blog post on it within the next two weeks but spoiler alert: I LOVE IT.

Anyways... this week NYC got hit with yet another snow storm and as I'm writing this on Thursday night, I've been stuck in the house all day, working from home, and trying to resist eating everything in sight. Oh post grad life...

I've been having good weeks (knock on wood) and I'm really thankful for that. I hope more good things are to come!

Here's what I was loving this week on the Internet :)

The best drugstore beauty products used by celebrity makeup artists--YES PLEASE

There was a lot of anxiety talk on the Internet this week-- here and here are breathtaking stances.

Crust is amazing and my mouth is watering.

As an Associate Community Manager for a few brands, I cannot tell you how accurate this is. People actually say these things on social media.

The Real Housewives of NYC --AND Bethenny Frankel are back. I'M SO EXCITED.

Have a great weekend everyone!

I pride myself on being a resident book worm. I pride myself on reading the Twilight series in one week and reading TFM in less than 12 hours. I have read two books in 24 hours and can read 600 pages like people drink water.

There is something about reading that just gets me, getting lost in another world and letting it consume you for a little while. My love for fiction is one of the many reasons I got into writing (fun fact: One of my top goals is to be a published author, let's go even further and say New York Times Best Seller).

I was so excited for this Christmas break because I was finally going to sit down and curl up with a good book. The semester was so insane that I didn't read, at all, and it was starting to get to me. Even with all the boredom I've been experiencing, I've only read two books this entire break. Still, it's better than nothing.

I started to peruse the Barnes and Noble website along with Goodreads and complied a list of books that I need to get my hands on.

// The Selection by Kiera Cass: An old time fairytale type of story mixed with The Bachelor and The Hunger Games. A bunch of elite ladies are competing for the heart of the one eligible prince in the kingdom; it sounds pretty cool and it's been on my list for at least a year. It's part of a trilogy so I will need to start reading ASAP.

// Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn: This book has been everywhere for quite some time now and I'm pretty surprised that I haven't read it yet. I usually jump on all the big time book bandwagons, especially when they're being made into movies. I've already bought this on my iPad and I can't wait to start reading.

// Skinnydipping by Bethenny Frankel: I've been wanting to read this book by Ms. Frankel since it hit bookstands and I've had it rotting away on my Nook for a few months. It seems like an easy chick-lit read that I could breeze through in a weekend.

// Grace: A Memoir by Grace Coddington: This book seems to be famous on Instagram. It's the ultimate coffee table book and I've seen it everywhere. After I watched the documentary "The September Issue", my interest in Grace Coddington skyrocketed. I need to get my hands on this book.

These are just a few of the many books on my Goodreads "To Read" list. If you don't use Goodreads, you definitely should. It's a great way to keep track of all the books you have read and want to read.

What is on your book wishlist? What are your recommendations? Leave them in the comments!

OMG. Can I start off by saying that?

A few months ago, on a whim, I applied to get Bethenny tickets. I never take advantage of living in New York and seeing all the wonderful things that go on but I knew that I needed to see Bethenny film her talk show before the chance passed me by.

About three weeks ago I got an email confirmation saying that I had reserved two tickets and that my show date was on Wednesday, November 20th. I was completely overjoyed and thrilled as was my mom who was my guest.

We both love and adore Bethenny Frankel; I've talked about her numerous times on here and the chance to see her in person was too good to pass up.

I am a naturally nervous person so the few days leading up to going to the show I was a mess. I was going to travel into Manhattan alone and the mere fact that I didn't know what to expect when I showed up there scared me. That is definitely something I need to work on.

I woke up at 5:45, was in the city by 7:30 and at the CBS building where Bethenny was being filmed by 7:55. The line was already incredibly long but by 8:15, I was sitting in the waiting room with all the other Bethenny fans. We filled out forms and surveys and listened as producers and security explained what would happen that day.

No cameras or phones were allowed out while the show was being taped but before and after were fine. They also explained who the guests were...to be honest, I didn't know who they were. I only knew JessieMae Peluso from "Girl Code", which I was REALLY excited to see and then also Reza Farahan from Bravo's TV Show "Shahs of Sunset".

They gave us a number and we waited to be filed into the studio. When I got in there, I was in complete shock and awe. It is SO tiny! The set is a lot smaller than it is on television which I assumed because most sets are like that.

I was also freaking out because I WAS AT THE BETHENNY SHOW! It was so incredible and I was so nervous. I have a tendency to be dramatic if you haven't noticed and especially when celebrities around, I lose my cool, majorly. I was really nervous about seeing Bethenny in person.

They played a lot of music before hand, explained some more stuff, and had some dance competitions between the audience to win a Bethenny t-shirt.

Finally, they were ready and the cameras began to roll. "Calling All My Girls", Bethenny's theme song began to play and then the doors opened and there she was. I was DYING. She is SUPER skinny, skinner than I imagined. She is so bubbly and so outgoing. She is perfect.

I won't go into full detail about the show...it airs on November 27th at 11am on Fox but it was really great. It was awesome to see how much goes into putting on a television show. Seeing everyone running around, getting things perfect, doing re-takes...it was surreal.

I was also nervous about seeing how Bethenny really is. Everyone can act different when a camera is on but she is truly the same person. She is funny, sweet, kind and forever thankful to her fans. She is the exact same person on and off the camera.

The most amazing thing about the show? I GOT $600 WORTH OF FREE STUFF! Yep, Bethenny did "Christmas in November" and my audience got very lucky! We got a Soda Stream Machine, Jenu Anti Aging products, a portable speaker (can't remember the name) and a $150 gift card to Maggy London.

I am super happy about all of that!

This was a truly amazing experience and being able to see one of my role models in person was perfection. If anyone is in the NYC area, go to Bethenny.com and see if you could get tickets to her show, it was amazing!

When I was younger, I never really idolized anyone. I had my favorite artists, musically, but other than that, there was no women in the spotlight of Hollywood that I looked up too. I guess I never paid much attention or wasn't mature enough to recognize what it takes to actually be classified as a role model for someone.

Things have changed and now I have a few girl crushes that inspire me in different ways. There is one that completely takes the cake though and that is the lovely and successful Bethenny Frankel.

I wrote a review of Bethenny's SkinnyGirl facial towelettes last year which featured some of my feelings toward the billionaire lady. Since then, my love for the once reality star has completely skyrocketed.

Bethenny's new talk show premiered on FOX a few weeks ago and I've been DVRing it every day since the premiere to watch later in the day since I have class at 11am when it's on.

I watched the first episode when it premiered and sat in a chair and cried. I was so overwhelmed by the love I felt bursting out of my chest for this woman who came from practically nothing. I couldn't express in sentence form, at the time, how I felt watching her premiere talk show.

If you don't know Bethenny's story it's an awe inspiring one. Her father bailed on the family when she was younger and her mother remarried another man. Bethenny's mother drank heavily and would verbally abuse young Bethenny. Bethenny went to high school in Florida then went onto culinary school and NYU while also working at a young age.

Bethenny slowly worked her way up the ladder and eventually became part of the Real Housewives of New York despite not being married and not being as wealthy as the other women on the show. There is where she launched the SkinnyGirl Margarita which turned into SkinnyGirl Cocktails. Bethenny also  met Jason Hoppy, her now ex husband on the show.

When Bethenny left RHONY she scored her own Bravo show called "Bethenny Getting Married" which turned into "Bethenny Ever After" where she got married to Jason and had a beautiful baby girl, Bryn.

Jason and Bethenny are now getting divorced and after much distress, Bethenny launched SkinnyGirl Cocktails into the limelight and made it a multi-billion dollar company. She created something for herself despite all her hardships.

She gives me hope and it may sound so silly  because she was a reality star but the way she built up herself and her empire and made her dreams come true when hardballs were thrown her way. Bethenny doesn't let anything get her down, she doesn't give up, even when the world tells her she should.

She is completely inspirational to me and the way she wants to give back to people who are like her, the way she wants to make people happy is awe-inspiring.

The other side of Bethenny is the way that she doesn't care what anyone says about her. She is the queen of TMI and will say it like it is. She is completely honest in everything she says and does. She is REAL and I love nothing more than a celebrity who tells it like it is.

Bethenny is someone who gives me the chills every time I watch her because she is just so true.

Even so, it's still hard to put into words why I love Bethenny so much and what she has done for me. Everyone needs to check out her talk show on FOX at 11am (EST), it will change your life!
I'm not a huge fan of the "Real Housewives" series on Bravo but I occasionally catch an episode here and there when my mom is watching it. I don't like what those women stand for and they are just pointless celebrities.

I may not like them but I do love one of their alumnae, Bethenny Frankel.

My love for Bethenny soars above and beyond; she is one of my role models. I think she is one of the smartest, most driven, incredible woman out there. She had an idea and ran with it; when things got tough, she never gave up and just kept going.

Frankel is a true inspiration for me and I know a lot of other people feel the same.

My obsessive love for Bethenny is not what this blog is about; this is about her SkinnyGirl Care products.

I know that she has a line of cocktails and I knew she had some skincare products but I didn't know where to buy them.

I was in CVS one day a few weeks back and my roommate spotted a few of her products on the bottom shelf.

The adorable red packaging, the cute, clever logo--I needed to buy something and sample a little piece of Bethenny.

Therefore I bought SkinnyGirl Face & Body Cleansing Cloths.

I immediately went home and washed my face with them and let me say, they are brilliant.

They aren't too soapy when you wet them, just the perfect amount of cleanse. They have a great cucumber scent and really leave your face with that fresh, clean feeling. They're also perfect for taking off makeup at night--amazing!

They're made with Aloe and Cucumber along with some Chamomile to calm you down
and Willow Bark Extract.

I love that almost all her products are made with limited ingredients and they
are all natural or organic--a definite plus for the processed
world we live in.

I never really use face cleansing cloths because I always just use face-wash or my Neutrogena Wave Sonic but now I always reach for my SkinnyGirl Cleansing Cloths. I like the fact that I'm not touching my face with my hands but the cloth.

I never really branch out with new products, I like what I've always used and I usually just stick to it but now that I've tried these SkinnyGirl cloths, I want to try her other products as well.

Frankel has a lip scrub and a detoxing face mask that I've been eyeing and might have to pick up this weekend at CVS.

The products in the drugstores are very limited and looking at her website, there are so many other fun products I want to order and try like lip-glosses, night cremes, and tinted moisturizers.

Anything that Bethenny Frankel touches turns to pure gold and I really think that her SkinnyGirl Face and Body line is going to skyrocket and change the beauty world.
