Over the years mascara has become one of the most important beauty products in my routine. I think it has overtaken concealer as the product I never leave the house without. I don't really feel like myself if I don't have mascara on which never used to be the case.

Mascara is also something that I don't experiment too much with anymore. I've tried what feels like hundreds of mascaras and I usually can find something I like in all of them, but lately, I've been more picky with what's going on my lashes. 

Too Faced's iconic Better Than Sex mascara has always been in rotation for me. I don't know if I've ever loved a mascara the way I love Better Than Sex. 

 I have too many lipsticks for someone who only wears a handful. My go-to brands for the past year have been Charlotte Tilbury and Pat McGrath, specifically the Bridgeton Collection. It's rare that I reach for anything else in my collection, until now. 

The Too Faced Cocoa Bold Cream Lipsticks were listed as 'coming soon' on all retailers for weeks and when they finally were available, I ordered two shades. I had no idea how they were going to look, feel or apply but I had extremely high hopes. 

I was correct.

Before this order, I hadn't been experimenting much with Too Faced because I hadn't seen anything that caught my eye. I love the chocolate line so having these lipsticks be in that category, I was hopeful I'd love them.

It's finally my season... it's my time to shine and I'm breaking out all my old (and new) favorites!

With the change of season comes a change of routine, whether that's your daily routine, workout routine, or more importantly, a beauty routine.

Usually, it's the skincare side of things that change up drastically once the weather chills out because, without a good skincare routine, your makeup routine means nothing.

I haven't figured out my new fall skincare routine quite yet because the weather is still in the 80s here in New York, but the day after Labor Day, I started changing up my entire beauty regime.

It's time to break out the dark colors, the matte foundations, and warm eyeshadows.. fall is here!

• Laura Geller Iconic Baked Lipstick in Broadway Plum: This is one of my favorite fall lip shades and one that I am constantly applying and reapplying all season long. It's the perfect plum without being too dark or too vampy so I feel like it's pretty universal for everyone. Also, this is one of my favorite lipstick formulas EVER! Very creamy, very comfortable, and simply gorgeous.

• Essie Angora Cardi: There's a reason this is the most popular Fall nail polish season after season on Pinterest... it embodies everything that is Fall. It's the perfect mix of mauve, plum, and brown and every year it's my favorite, most used shade. I'm rocking it now and I've never been happier.

• NARSissist Loaded Eyeshadow Palette: I love a good warm shadow palette all year round but there are certain palettes that just scream fall and this NARS one is it. It has the perfect mixture of greys, browns, and golds with a few plum and pink shades thrown in for good measure. I have hardly worn it all summer because it's just too fall(y) for me! 

• Too Faced Love Flush Blush in Your Love Is King: Once Fall hits I'm all about a full face of glam and I love a good plum blush. This shade from the Too Faced collection is one of my favorites. It's a nice mauve/purple/plum shade without being too much and it adds the perfect amount of color to the cheeks. 

As a self-diagnosed beauty addict, I am always trying new products. I am constantly searching for the next greatest product, browsing the new arrivals pages on Sephora, Ulta, and Nordstrom, looking to see what my favorite brands have recently put out.

If there is a new product on the market, I usually have tried it even if it was just a bonus sample from a Sephora order.

However, all that being said, I do have some tried and true favorites. When I was thinking about what products I've repurchased I felt like I didn't have enough but when I really looked in my collection there were so many products that I've bought more than once.

Now, there are a few products that I've only repurchased once because there are a handful of products that I've loved and bought again but these are my MOST REPURCHASED (two or more times).

Now onto the big items (which are mostly skincare because obviously, we go through skincare a bit more)



1. Simple Micellar Water: This is my holy grail of face cleansers and I don't know how many times I've repurchased. I use this every morning as my cleanser instead of using an actual face wash and I love it. It's so easy and quick but also leaves my skin feeling fresh and clean without a horrible residue. I've used the Garnier micellar water and I much prefer Simple. Simple is my favorite drugstore skincare brand and I've used so many of their products but this is my far my favorite. I highly recommend trying out a micellar water.

2. Tarte Frixxtion Stick: I have a huge post on this so I won't go into too much detail but I think I've purchased 4 or 5 of these since I posted it last year. I leave it in my shower and wash my face with it every night. It's compact, easy, and I love how the charcoal really deep cleanses. Stick cleansers are all the rave right now but this is my #1 ride or die.

3. Eva NYC Hair Mask: I've used this hair mask so many times I've lost track of the number. I always switch between this and the Briogeo one but Eva NYC is cheaper and just as good. My family loves it too and it makes such a difference in our thick hair. I only wash my hair 1-2 times a week and I don't even use regular conditioner anymore. This is my holy grail, go to conditioner!



4. Tarte Eye Brightener Cream: I have a love affair with eye creams and all eye products; this is the first eye cream I ever truly loved and have purchased over and over again. It's hydrating and truly brightening; it also doesn't irriate my under eyes which is very important to me. I notice a differnce when I use this and if you need a good eye cream, try this baby.

5. Benefit Cosmetics Ooh La Lift: This was the first makeup item I ever purchased from Sephora and since then I've repurchased many times. It seems a little gimmicky but try it, just once! It brightens and lifts the under eye; it also makes a great 'primer' for your concealer.

6. Too Faced Better Than Sex: Is this everyone's most repurchased mascara? It's definitely mine and it's my go-to mascara. It creates fluffy lashes that are long and volumnious; Better Than Sex might actually be better than sex...

I can't believe May is over and it's basically, officially summer. I'm excited for summer (yes, seriously) and excited for it to be over because that means FALL. Will you ever get sick of me saying that? Probably!

This month was a whirlwind with many trips, lots of business at work, and a few personal milestones that I won't share. It was an exhausting month but now that the month is over, and after this week, everything will calm down.

I'm making plans for the summer and I can't wait to travel and get out there to see what's waiting for me!

I feel like I didn't have many favorites this month but here's what I did enjoy:





1. Louis Vuitton Cosmetic Pouch: I bought this little adorable baby on Tradesy and it's in perfect condition. I was very nervous to use it but I really started using it this month and I have fallen head over heels. It's so gorgeous and versatile, and the pink interior is so girly and chic. Of all the things I bought pre-loved Louis Vuitton, this is my favorite. I highly recommend purchasing it!



2. NARS Tinted Moisturzer: I did not need a new 'foundation' type product but I was really feeling NARS this month. They popped up at Ulta and I was on an Ulta spree this month. This tinted moisturzer is more like a foundation because it's thick and covers a lot (I can't just rub it in with my hands, I need to apply it with a beauty blender or brush) but I've never loved the way my skin looked more. It evens everything out, covers every imperfection, and leaves a radiant finish on the skin. It's the ultimate lazy girl product (you almost don't even need concealer with it) and I think everyone would love it.

3. Too Faced Hangover RX Primer: This is a primer I purchased years ago, loved, and never got again. I felt the need to have it in my aresnal and boy am I glad I repurchased. It's just as good as I remember because it feels so good on the skin and it doubles as a moisturzer. In the summer, I don't like putting too many layers on so I think this is a great summertime product because you can moisturzer and prime in one step!

4. Nature's Bounty Hair Skin & Nails Vitamins: I received this in a subscription box last month and finished the bottle. I've since went out and purchased a new, bigger bottle because I've never loved vitamins more. I always thought I never needed Biotin because my hair is thick and long, and my skin is decent; my nails always could use some help. Because I never thought I needed these vitamins, I never bothered to purchase them but since I had them, I used them. I noticed a huge difference in my nails and skin -- I don't know what it is, and I don't know if I could explain it, but to me, there is a difference. These vitamins are gummies and taste so good, I could eat the entire bottle in one sitting. Also, they are on the less expensive side (at least in my drugstore) so I highly recommend these, even if you don't think you need them!

This was originally on my calendar for yesterday but Wednesday kicked my butt so no post Thursday... and here we are! I think a little behind the scenes is always good; blogging is not glamorous, ladies and gentlemen!

Just as I talked this week about fragrances, something I never talked about in 5 years, I rarely have talked about makeup brushes.

They say if you don't have good skin even the most expensive makeup won't look good on your face; the same goes with brushes. You could be using all Charlotte Tilbury & Tom Ford makeup but if you're using the wrong or really crappy brushes, it won't apply as well. You can do magic with makeup brushes, I've seen it happen.

Over the years I've accumulated a nice amount of brushes, two candle holders filled, to be exact, and I love most of them. I do have my favorites, as I'm sure we all do; I have my go-to brushes that I simply cannot live without.



1. PUR Cosmetics Skin Perfecting Foundation Brush: Ever since I've seen the Artis brushes come to play I wanted one. I bought a cheapy knock off from Amazon and it was garbage. I almost pulled the trigger on an Artis brush more than once but then I saw one of my favorite brands, PUR, release a similar looking foundation brush. It has the same shape and even feels the same (I've touched Artis). This brush is super densely packed and really smooths out your foundation. My foundation glides on my skin when I use this and it gets the job down fast. I HIGHLY recommend this, especially if you don't like foundation brushes. I religiously use a beautyblender but this changes the game.

2.  Morphe E8: I love this brush so much I bought two! Jaclyn Hill said this is one of her favorite brushes so when I heard that, I ran to the Morphe website to purchase one. I use it solely for concealer and it's basically replaced my beautyblender in that retrospect. It's soft, blends perfectly, and is the best concealer brush out there.

3. ELF Small Stipple Brush: ELF has some of the best brushes on the market and I have a few of them in my collection. This is by far my favorite for blending out cream products. I've gone through two of them and another one just appeared in my collection -- it's very nice to have it back. It's small enough to not blend the cream product all over your face, and is really soft on the skin. Go get it, it's only $6!

4. Too Faced Mr Right: This brush was released last year and I knew I needed it because it was so cute and I've never had a Too Faced brush. This has become my go-to for powdering my face whether it's with a loose or pressed powder. It's big enough to add a fluffy, airbrushed look to the skin but not so big that you feel like you aren't adding any product to your face. It's a little pricey but it's SO GOOD.

5. Anastasia #23 Brush: This was originally released when Anastiasa Beverly Hills released her glow kits and I was really drawn to it. I felt like this brush was a unique shape and size; the slim dome shape and soft bristles make it ideal for applying highlight. It's basically the only brush I use to apply my highlight and I love it! *This does have some shedding but it doesn't bother me that much.

I am a sucker for new eyeshadow palettes. I love new makeup in general but my weakness is eyeshadow. They're so pretty and the colors are unique, and the layout & packaging draws you in. UGH I love new eyeshadow palettes!

I especially love limited edition, fun eyeshadow palettes from Too Faced, which is what this post is all about. Last year, Too Faced released their Peanut Butter & Jelly palette. I am a huge peanut butter fan so I jumped at this palette; it's quickly become one of my favorites in my collection.

When I heard that Too Faced was going to release a Peanut Butter & Honey palette, I was even more excited. More peanut butter, more neutral shades! When I saw a photo of this palette, I was less than impressed. The yellow shade Honey Buns made me question if I wanted this palette because I didn't think I'd use it. I didn't even pay mind to the other shades and didn't really pay attention to when this was going to be released.




However, I woke up one morning a few weeks ago and trendmood1 posted on Instagram that the palette was available for Platinum members only on Ulta's website. I made my decision and bought the palette, because I just couldn't miss out on something limited edition.

When I received it, I was super impressed with how much better it looked in person than online. That's why I recommend going in store to see it because it's so beautiful and photos/videos don't do it justice.




Honestly, people have been saying the pigmentation on these shadows are bad but I don't see it. The one shade I had an issue with 'Going Nuts' -- it doesn't swatch that great but it's perfect on the eyes. Honey Buns also isn't fabulous but I wasn't expecting much from the bright yellow. Everything else I think is up to Too Faced standards!

I've been testing it out and using it since I got it and I really love it. It's probably my top 5 favorite palettes because the colors are super warm, neutral, and perfect for everyday.

I talked a bit about the palette, to accompany this review & I hope you like it!


The palette repeats the shade Peanut Butter from the Semi Sweet Chocolate Bar palette & the original Peanut Butter and Jelly palette. The other shades are inspired by peanut butter and honey, so they range from pink to brown to yellow -- it's a palette that could be used to create multiple different looks. Whether it's day or night there are shades for everyone.

I think the most unique shades are Queen Bee which is a grey, taupe shade; Honey Brittle which is a brownie peach shade; and Going Nuts which is a plum, deep brown shade.




As I said in the video, the review for this palette are less than wonderful and some don't swatch that well, but once you apply the shades on the eyes they work like a dream! You can't always trust swatches, you really have to work with shadows on the eyelid.

If you're interested in this palette and the reviews have been putting you off, I recommend going in store to Ulta when it's available (call your local Ulta for a date -- they may even have it already) and seeing for yourself. If you want too, I recommend even purchasing it from the TooFaced website or Ulta.com and trying it out. Both websites have return policies up to 60 days so you can always return it if it doesn't work!

Once you've tried some beauty products, you've pretty much tried them all. GASP! How, as a beauty blogger, could I possibly say that?

Well, if you really think about it, it's kind of true. At some point, all blushes, bronzers, mascaras, eyeliners, etcs start to look and feel the same. Of course there are some that will never work, or some that causes your skin to react badly, but all in all, a lot of beauty products are similar.

I continue to buy them because I'm constantly trying new things, and if something is new or a cult classic that I've never tried, I need to try it.

That's why, when there is a beauty product that is unlike anything I've seen or tried before, I need it.

Over the past few months, I've been extremely drawn to unusual & unique beauty products. I love seeing what brands will come up with next and it's interesting to try something that you aren't used to.

From masks to primers to removers, there's tons of weird products out there!

• Lip Masks: This might not be so unusual but when I saw it on Sephora's website a few months ago, I was intrigued. It's so smart to make a sheet lip mask and I don't know why I've never seen them. Thanks to the Sephora Brand Collection, I've been introduced to a new item. I purchased one and fell in love. It just so happens everyone else was too because they've been sold out forever. (Back in stock right now!) Thankfully, Patchology sent me some of theirs recently and I've been loving them! My lips are moisturized and smooth afterwards, perfect to do right before applying a liquid lipstick.

• Origins Maskimizer Mask Primer: This was a product, when I saw it, said "Now they've thought of everything!". It seems a little gimmicky to apply a primer before applying a face mask, but if you think of it, why wouldn't it work? We apply primers before makeup to keep makeup on longer, smooth our skin, and other reasons, why shouldn't we apply it before a mask? This primer allows for your skin to absorb the mask more quickly, and loads better. A few sprays before your favorite face mask and your skin will feel better. I haven't noticed a physical difference but I do think my face feels better using it than without using.

• Too Faced Mascara Melt Off: A mascara remover, that comes in a mascara tube? GENIUS! Once again, gimmicky but GENIUS. I don't wear a lot of waterproof mascara but like every other woman in the world, have a difficult time removing it. Apply one coat of this remover to each lash, let sit for 60 seconds, and wipe away. I've never tried anything like it and I don't think I ever will again -- it's SO good, I never want to run out. 

• St Tropez In Shower Gradual Tanner: Self tanning is such a trend, and such a pain in the butt. Your hands turn orange, if you're not careful your sheets will too. Why has no one ever thought of making a tanner that you apply IN THE SHOWER? Well, St. Tropez gave us what we didn't even know we needed. I bought this in a pinch because I was white as ghost and had misplaced my self tanner amongst the many boxes when I was packing to move. I ran to Sephora and purchased this; within 3-4 showers, I had semi golden skin. It seemed like the most natural tan ever and it was completely fake. If you're nervous about self tanning, I highly recommend starting out with this. It's great for beginners.

I'm on a shopping hiatus because I went crazy this month, with good intent. Retail therapy does wonders for the soul and I don't care what anyone says!

There were lots of beauty releases this month and I fell in love with every single one of them. I've been reorganizing my beauty collection, making room for all the new items.

I just enjoy beauty from all ends of the spectrum. It's my career, it's my hobby, it brings me joy. Everyone needs a hobby in my opinion ;)

Some of these products are brand new, some are just new to me.





1. Too Faced Peach Palette: If you are subscribed to my newsletter, you saw this in today's email. I was one of the lucky few who got this when it was released on TooFaced.com & literally broke the website. It sold out on Ulta.com, HSN.com, and it will soon be available in Ulta stores & on Sephora's website. It's Limited Edition & I've been wanting this palette for months. It smells like peaches and it's super heavenly. All the shades are super creamy & pigmented. It could use 1-2 more matte shades, in my opinion and the shades Peaches & Cream and White Peach are a little patchy but otherwise, this is my new favorite palette. I tend to stick to more browns & neutrals so I'm really glad to have bright pops of peachy pinks and greens, along with my favorite neutrals. If you can get your hands on this, and you love Too Faced, definitely pick this up!

2. ColourPop Satin Lip: I placed an order with Colourpop a few weeks ago and I took this as a time to try their Ultra Satin Lip Lipstick. I hated their Ultra Matte Liquid Lipstick because they were so drying-- I ended up just throwing them out because I never, ever wore them. These Ultra Satin Lips got really good reviews and the good thing is, they aren't matte so they never dry so they aren't drying. I got the shade Echo Park, which is a beigy, pinkish nude and I love it. It's really comfortable, not drying, and the color is gorgeous. I may try more, I may not, but they are really great alternatives for those who don't like liquid lipstick.


3. Becca Best of Becca Blushed Radiance: I don't have a lot of Becca products. I only have Champagne Pop, AquaLuminous Foundation, and the Jaclyn Hill Holiday Palette. I have been meaning to try more because I know Becca is an incredible brand. I saw this set at Ulta and knew it was a great deal. I decided to be adventoruous and silly and place a stupidly big (big for me) Ulta order and this was in it. I am obsessed! It comes with a mini size Mineral Blush in Flowerchild, mini size Shimmering Skin Perfector in Opal, Shimmering Skin Perfector Wand in Moonstone, and a mini Backlight Priming Filter. I've worn the primer (and it's amazing: full size, I'm coming for you!) and the Mineral Blush (full size, I'm coming for you!) and I have fallen head over heels. I already know I love the highlighters but this is a great little set if you're looking to try more Becca products.

4. Glossier Balm Dot Com: This is the best lip balm in the history of the world. I know it feels like I say that a lot but this is the best. I've been meaning to try it FOREVER and I finally bit the bullet. It's a thicker salve that can be used other places like your cuticles, elbows, or ankles. I put it on at night since it's a thicker formula and I wake up the next day to smooth, hydrated, and moisturized lips. It's so thick I still feel remnants of the balm the next morning. It's INCREDIBLE.

There are definitely a few more items that I've collected but these are my top favorites at the moment!

Another week has came and gone... and in a few days, March will be over. This can definitely go down as the worst month of my life and I'll be happy when it's over.

Losing a parent is truly the most heart wrenching experience and I may write a philosophical blog about it because my goodness, I'm feeling a lot of things. Grief is something that can't be explained, but I just feel like I'm riding waves in the ocean. Some waves are high, some are really low. This week was a really low wave.

I was really upset and unhappy and anxious and just didn't feel right. There was something wrong that I couldn't put my finger on, besides my dad. I just felt really off, and I hate feeling off.

I didn't feel well all night, so it's a sick day for me which I really needed. It's also Easter weekend which should be fun, as much fun as holidays could be now.

Aren't I so fun and uplifting? I mean, jeez Briana, lighten the mood!!

My Too Faced Sweet Peach Palette came in the mail yesterday and I got it at 6 AM on the Too Faced website last week, after the site crashed and people lost their minds. The palette is Limited Edition and is sold out on the Too Faced website (and won't be coming back), but it goes on sale on Ulta.com today (if it's still in stock) and you need it. I'll be doing a full review of this but spoiler alert: it's amazing & smells like peaches.

As for other things, there will be lots of product round ups over the next few weeks because I've been a shopping crazy lady. That will also come to an end. I really think I have a shopping problem because I just can't control myself so I made a pact with my mom to stop online shopping for a few months. I need self control!

There has been so much going on in beauty the past few weeks and today is sure to be one of the best!

Too Faced is officially releasing their Peanut Butter & Jelly Eyeshadow Palette and their new La Matte Color Drenched Lipsticks, all exclusively at Ulta.

I say "officially" releasing their PB&J palette because last week, for a few hours, it was available to Platinum members only... but not really because if you had the link and accessed it from your mobile browser, you were able to purchase it even if you weren't Platinum.

I was one of those lucky people and my goodness, this palette is everything to me. I don't remember the last time I was this excited about a new release.

Some of the eyeshadows swatched a little difficulty--they weren't that smooth and pigmented, like the Jelly shade, but once applied to a primed eyelid, they are just as buttery and beautiful as every other shadow that Too Faced creates.

The three shades that give me life? Peanut Butter, Nuts About You, and Peanut Brittle. I just want them tattooed to my eyelids.

The last Brand Buzz I did got so many positive responses so I thought I'd change it up and do a post on one of my favorite high end brands.

Too Faced has always been #1 for me and they just keep getting better and better. Their packaging is too cute for words, they have pretty unique products, and they're amazing.

I've tried a decent amount of product from Too Faced, but I haven't tried everything. There have been some things I didn't like -- like the renowned Born This Way Foundation and the Shadow Insurance Eyeshadow Primer, and there are still things that I need... like the Peanut Butter & Jelly palette that is releasing next week!



For now, though, let's talk about the things I swear by!



Eyeshadows: Too Faced has the best eyeshadows in the business, in my honest opinion. It's better than the Naked Palettes, better than anything I've ever tried. I will always go back to Too Faced shadows. They are smooth, buttery, blendable, and pigmented. They are NOT powdery, don't have any fall out and you don't have to work too hard to apply them. My favorite palettes are the Chocolate Bar Palette & the Natural Matte Palette. They are both neutral palettes but they are a must have in anyone's collection!

Melted Chocolate Diamonds, Melted Candy, Melted Rainbow, Melted Chihuahua, Melted Nude

Melted Lipsticks: I was so excited when these came out. They were one of the first "liquid lipsticks" on the market, and they aren't really even liquid lipsticks. They don't have a true matte finish and they come in a squeeze tube, which is odd but really cool. I like the applicator, it's very unique and these have an interesting smell. I'm not prone to smells but some people are so that could be a turn off but it doesn't bother me. I really love these because they are easy to apply and have a semi long lasting power. The color selection is super unique and I just love everything about these!

Better than Sex: This mascara has the RIGHT NAME. This mascara is the best mascara I have ever used and I don't even know how many I've gone through. It was the first high end mascara I tried and if I had to pick one to use for the rest of my life, it'd be this one. The wand is pretty big but that is what I prefer, and the formula isn't too wet. It leaves my lashes with a lot of volume and it can be a bit clumpy/messy but that's never really a real issue for me. It also helps separate my lashes, which is what I look for in a mascara. I need something that is volumizing and separating and that is Better Than Sex. No other mascara compares to this one in my opinion.

Hangover Rx Primer: I've raved about this primer many times before so I won't ramble too much but it's incredible and I really miss having it since I ran out a few months ago. It's hydrating and I would sometimes just throw this on with some concealer and call it a day. It is made with coconut oil and is perfect for those with dry skin. If you have dry skin and need a moisturizing primer, definitely go try this one.

Loganberry, Cinnamon Kiss, Pink Chocolate, Nude Beach

La Creme Lipsticks: Another great lipstick by Too Faced! These are very moisturizing and have a tendency to bleed but I just can't get enough. They feel amazing on the lips and the color selection has every shade you'd ever need. And the packaging? YES PLEASE! How cute is the gold? It's very heavy and feels luxurious so I feel like a true beauty guru whenever I use them.



Love Flush Blush: These blushes are no joke, between the colors, the names, the 16 hour wear, and the dam packaging!!!! I bought this off HSN last year when it was released and it's one of my most worn blushes. I have the color "Love Hangover" and it's a beautiful peachy pink--these blushes are pigmented in a good way, but not too much where you look like a clown. They're soft, blendable, and really do last a good while.



Little Black Book of Bronzers: I'm pretty sure I've talked about how much I wanted this product before but I never wanted to spend $50. I mean, the bronzers inside are very tiny, but I still couldn't justify it. Thankfully, I found it in Nordstrom Rack a few months ago for half the price and scooped it up immediately. It's a little book that has every Too Faced bronzer and my goodness, I'm very happy I have it. Their Chocolate Soleil Bronzer is one of my favorites so it's nice to try out all the other ones. There is a bronzer for every single occasion and I basically never have to buy bronzer again! All of them have similar formulas, whether shimmery, satin, or matte -- they blend out beautifully, aren't too pigmented where you can't control how much product you apply to your face, and the chocolate bronzers smell like chocolate! Too Faced definitely does bronzers right!

I need more Too Faced in my life but these are hands down, some of the best products I've tried from them!

What is your favorite high end brand and your favorite products?

I've been trying to buy less and spend less money on make-up but it doesn't seem to be working. I've definitely cut back, but I still like to treat myself to something new every so often.

These items have been collected over the course of two months and I've been loving & using all of them religiously.

There's always new things at the drugstore, and obviously those are more affordable but I do love myself a good high end make-up splurge!




Here are some of the beauty items I've been LOVING lately.

//Maybelline Dream Wonder Fluid Touch Foundation: I've been lusting after this drugstore foundation since it came out last year. It's definitely on the pricey side of the drugstore, rounding out anywhere from $10-$13. I finally splurged on it and it's been life changing. It's a very liquid, water like foundation that has medium-full(ish) coverage. I apply it with a Beauty Blender and it gives me the most beautiful demi matte, powder finish. It wears pretty well throughout the day and I've been wearing it almost everyday. It's well worth the price.




//Maybelline Lip Studio Color Blur: I have been obsessed with lip products lately and I cannot get enough. When I saw that Maybelline released a new line of matte lip colors, I went searching for them and couldn't find them for weeks at my local CVS or Duane Reade. I finally went to Rite Aid in my neighborhood and they had ALL the new beauty products. I picked up this one in "I Like to Mauve It" and love it! It's a little on the pinker side of mauve but it's a great "Kylie Jenner" type of color. It's really comfortable on the lips and the perfect everyday color.

//Loreal Colour Riche Le Matte Lipcolour Stick: In the same breath, L'Oreal released their own line of matte lip colors. They also had ones called "Le Lacquer" and I may want to try those too. I got one in the shade "She's So Matte" and it's a little darker than the Maybelline one. Still, it's very comfortable and a little more matte than the Maybelline. Once again, a perfect every day color!



//Too Faced Sole Mates Blushing Bronzer: These are $34 and 'limited edition' and were released around Valentine's Day. There's only two shades, named after two of the best TV couples ever "Carrie & Big" and "Rachel and Ross." I wasn't going to spend $34 on it so I never got it. That was, until I was in my local Nordstrom Rack and they had a whole bin full of both shades, for $8!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I picked up "Carrie & Big" immediately and haven't used another bronzer since. It's really hard to use the bronzer and blush separately, so I just take a kabuki brush and swirl them together for a luminous, bronzy glow. Ugh, I cannot get enough!





//Too Faced Love Flush Blush in Love Hangover: When I saw that Too Faced was releasing new blushes, I knew I needed one. I didn't know when they were being released, until I woke up one morning and saw that they were up for grabs on Home Shopping Network. I immediately ordered it while I was walking to the train station (I have an addiction) and within a week, this adorable little blush was at my door. It's the perfect everyday, warm pink color that looks very natural on the cheeks. They are 16 hour blushes and honestly, they are very long wearing. They're smooth and perfect and I want more!





//Becca Cosmetics + Jaclyn Hill Shimmering Skin Perfector: I watch a lot of Youtube videos, and love a lot of Youtube v-loggers. All of them talk about Becca's highlighters, and all of them love Jaclyn Hill. With good reason too, as she is one of the OG's of Youtube Beauty Blogging and she is funny, beautiful, down to earth, and relatable. I want to be her! Anyways, Becca & Jaclyn collaborated on a new highlighter called "Champagne Pop". It's $38 but I needed it because it's limited edition and I was in need of a new powder highlight. It was worth it because it's the most intense, beautiful highlight. I've been wearing it every day and I can't stop. You can build up the intensity as much as you want and it looks good on pretty much everyone. I'm obsessed and may never wear another highlight again.
