Showing posts with label wishlist wednesday
It's been quite some time since I shared a Wishlist Wednesday but I figured with the holidays coming up, and my 27th birthday in a few short weeks now was a better time as any.

I've gotten so much better with wanting things, buying on impulse and shopping in general. Nowadays, I make a list of things I want and slowly check them out -- or sometimes I forget about them and realize I don't need or want them. I don't buy a ton of beauty products anymore, have cut back on accessories, and try to put my focus elsewhere.

I have a lot coming up in 2020 that I need to save for and I have to be better in terms of saving. Some days, I want to save more than I want to spend so I've made progress. However, I'm still me and I still want a lot of what I see, for my birthday and Christmas especially.

These are just a few things I have my eye on, whether I want it from someone else or as a little gift to myself!
I had a Weight Watchers Wednesday scheduled for today but truthfully, it's just the same stuff every month. My weight fluctuates every 3 weeks, I'm still stuck at this stupid plateau and even gained two pounds last week. I'm trying but failing and I almost don't want to discuss it because I'm so disappointed in myself.

Which is why I nixed that post and decided to do an old-fashioned wishlist. My 26th birthday is coming up in a little more than two weeks (November 30th), then Christmas, and there are a lot of things I want. I start making a birthday/Christmas list around September (when I was younger it used to be August LOL) and the list keeps changing.

I will most likely be getting money from my family members which I want to save (and splurge on a few items) for my birthday but my family doesn't like getting me money for Christmas so I always give out a little list. Also, as always I will be treating myself! I've had some purchases planned for a while and I'm ready to finally pull the trigger on some of them.

My #1 item that I will be buying is the Louis Vuitton Denim Shawl. I've wanted it for so long and looking at photos of people wearing it makes me so happy. I long to be that fabulous so maybe the scarf will spruce up any outfits I have.

Another Louis Vuitton item I really have been wanting forever is a bandeau. I really want to add an adorable, small scarf to my collection and in reality, they aren't that expensive. I will definitely be trying to pick this one up within the next few weeks!

I also really want a new bag... or two or three. But really, when don't I want a new bag? I will be picking up the Rebecca Minkoff Edie Flap Shoulder bag. I've wanted it since it came out a few months ago and I think it's the most gorgeous grey bag. I love the quilting and it reminds me of a beloved Chanel bag that I will never get so why not? Rebecca Minkoff is underappreciated in my collection and I really want to start loving her bags again!

Those are my three must-haves but everything else I have my eye on is below... you can assume that most of these are Kate Spade items because have you met me or read the blog?

Kate Spade Wishlist

Everything Else

What is on your wishlist this year?

One of my truest obsessions is tech cases, usually iPhone and iPad cases. I think of them as an extension of my outfit, as an added accessory that I can express myself through. A good iPhone or iPad case really makes me smile.

Almost all of my cases are from Kate Spade, Lilly Pulitzer, or Henri Bendel. I have a few random cases from nonname brands but I'm very drawn to my contemporary designer cases.

I've looked at a few cases from Etsy and had my eye on some, mostly to accessorize my phone for Fall but then I was scrolling through Instagram Stories and saw one of my favorite fashion illustrators, HNichols Illustration post her Caseify shop.

I've looked on Caseify before but always forgot about it; however, I couldn't resist her Fall iPhone case! It was just so beautiful and included all my favorite fall things from dark lipsticks to PSLs to scarves and candles. I just had to have it!

Then, I decided to look at the iPad cases because while I purchased a Lilly Pulitzer one recently I just felt like I needed another one. I have an iPad Mini 2 and they don't make a lot of cases for that version anymore so I feel like when I see one, I have to get it before it goes away.

Once again I had to get a fashion illustration case (I'm obsessed with fashion illustration and I feel like I need to go more in depth with that in another post) and it's such an amazing case! It has credit card slots, it's very thick and protective and has a great built it stand. It's everything an iPad case should be.

Those purchases sparked this post because as I continued to look on Caseify I saw so many cases that I am currently on my wishlist. There are a lot of fun designs, so many fashion illustrations to choose from and it's so nice to support those people who put their designs for sale on Caseify.

*You can also create your own case on Caseify which is is so COOL.

Have you ever ordered anything from Caseify?

For the past few months I have been unimpressed with Kate Spade's new collections. If you didn't know, Kate Spade releases a new collection every month and because I pay attention so closely to the brand, I could pinpoint the exact day when the new arrivals will come up on the website.

I never said I was normal.

Usually during the summer I steer away from Kate Spade because their collections from June-August never really intrigue me. I think I'm just so drawn to the fall & winter seasons that whenever something is summer themed, I want no part of it.

At the beginning of August, Kate Spade released the start of their Fall 2018 collection and I have fallen in love with so many things. Surprisngly, I didn't love any of the handbags but more of the jewelry, accessories, and athleisure.

There is so much athleisure in Kate Spade's new arrivals and I'm obsessed with it all. UGH I love athleisure and will probably do more posts on it for the Fall.

Below are all the Kate Spade new arrivals that are currently on my wishlist!

I was going to start this post while on the Amtrak, headed down to QVC for work but I got a little too train sick so I'm finishing from my hotel room.

We're staying at the Desmond in Malvern, PA and it's a really nice hotel! I'm kind of in love with it compared to the other hotel I usually stay at.

Anyway... I had to move a lot of editorial stuff around so we're throwing it back old school with a little wishlist.

Ever since my 'no buy' which I still wanted to do a post on, I've been doing a bit of shopping. Maybe I'll do a post or video on everything I've bought but yeah, it's been an issue.

However, there is a lot of stuf that I haven't bought and is currently on my wishlist so the point of this post!

I haven't bought a bag in a while (if you don't count my Neverfull MM) and I really want the Kate Spade Emerson Place Sam!

There was a time when I was doing ok with controlling my handbag collection. I had sold a lot and wasn't buying any... I thought I had got it all under control.

Then, recently, something came over me and I just caught the bug again. I want all the handbags... I need all the handbags.

Everyone (cough Kate Spade cough) is coming out with their fall collections and I'm drooling hardcore. I also want to add a Louis Vuitton handbag to my collection so I have my eye on a lot of pre-loved items.

I've already given in to a want and purchased this gorgeous Rebecca Minkoff velvet bag from the Nordstrom Anniversary sale. I've always wanted one of her 'Love' bags and I thought this velvet one was just gorgeous. Velvet is super in so I'm ahead of the trend for once!

Here's what's on my wishlist right now:

Kate Spade Cameron Street Perforated Large Lane: I have the small lane from last year's collection but when I saw this larger version in the perforated leather with rose detailing, especially in the Dolce color, I almost lost my mind. I haven't been able to think of anything for the past few weeks and I'm surprised I haven't just gone off the deep end and splurged. I'm trying to be responsible.

Rebecca Minkoff Leo Nubuck Clutch: I've been seeing this all over my Instagram feed and I just found it on Nordstrom.com. I love the color and the embroidered roses -- so on trend and perfect for the fall and winter.

Kate Spade Olive Street Brigette: I've started following a lot of the Kate Spade sales associates on Instagram.. their accounts are popping up all over and I can't get enough of the sneak peeks. Well, the Fifth Ave Muses posted this over the weekend and I lost my shit. How stunning is this? The satchel shape? The big bow? The color? I did some research and I think this was part of an older collection and they're bringing it back. It'll be available in August online but may be in stores now!

Louis Vuitton Pochette Metis: I have not stopped thinking of this bag in months. I need it. I want it. It's so pretty. I saw it in person for the first time on the train yesterday and I almost fell up the escalator. I have a Speedy 30 and it's amazing but the Pochette Metis is modern and classic at the same time. Please go look up a review on Youtube because this bag is something everyone should have.

Below are a few more handbags I've had my eye on (just not as much as the ones listed above)

Another wishlist Wednesday is here...and its the beauty edition! I love putting these together because I am constantly looking at what new beauty products are out on the market... it's my job as a social media coordinator & blogger to know what the trends are and what is being released.

Credit
I never want to keep these things to myself because what's the fun in that? I'm in the market for a good beauty buy; ever since moving, I haven't spent any money on makeup because I've been buying decor items (and some fall clothes!)

That's why this may seem like a long list... because Sephora is calling my name!

Has anyone ever tried any of these beauty products? What are your thoughts? Give me some reviews before I waste my money ;)

I've been on a huge bag kick lately. In the past 6 months, I've bought 3 different bags. I've always been a bag lady. I would rather spend a lot of money on bags rather than shoes or clothes. Bags are easier to care for and if you are really gentle, they will last a lifetime.

I just can't get enough, and as I get older, my bag tastes have changed. Also, having my own job where I'm making my own money allows me to look at more higher end bags. Because of all of this, my eye has been wandering greatly.

I don't need another bag, but I really want one. I especially would LOVE a Louis Vuitton Neverfull with Rose Ballerine interior. I've become obsessed with LV the past few weeks, constantly looking at the too expensive bags that I cannot afford, but I can't help it.

That being said, I rounded up some of my most coveted designer bags. I've done too many of these posts to count but I can't help it, new bags come out and I need to share my desire with you all!

What are your favorite items to splurge on?

How do you like that triple W blog title? I love alliterations and I never make a point of hiding that fact. I think this was a tad bit overboard, don't you think?

Well, anyways... I wrote most of my blog posts for this week over the weekend which I haven't done in a while. I've been writing them each night, for the next day, but it felt good to get a lot written on Sunday.

On that note, I'm currently writing this post on Tuesday night. It was a rough day and I wasn't going to write but I have the time and what better time to post a Wishlist Wednesday than on a rough day?

I always want things but I go through phases. I've been in a stationery phase and I just want everything for a home office. Whether it's a planner, notebook, nice pens, notepads, etc...I just want it all! I haven't been lusting after a particular brand but just beautiful pieces of paper.

Aside from the items above, someone please buy me this notebook.

What are you wishing for this Wednesday?

I've never been keen on watches. I had the trendy Michael Kors one in high school, and I have a Kate Spade bangle watch that I never wear. The reason I hate them is because the ones I always saw were big and clunky, not practical for me.

Now that I work full time and am always at my computer and the watches clink against my desk and keyboard and make an incredible amount of noise. For this reason, I hate metal, linked watches and much prefer leather.

This was something I just discovered though, because to me, leather watches didn't look feminine enough for me or weren't as stylish but I think that's all changing. There are more and more leather watches on the market (or I'm just paying attention more)

My girl, Kate Spade, always comes through though. I feel like she's just released a bunch of new watches that cater to the simple gal like myself. I love to be fancy, it's been my motto for as long as I can remember but I do love simplicity, especially in items like watches.

That's why Kate Spade is always my go to. She has the best stuff and you know you're getting quality when you buy Kate Spade. She never steers me wrong.

You know where this is going...

I was searching the Kate Spade website & Nordstrom as I do on a daily basis and saw so many watches I want and are now on my wish list.

There will be one of these (preferably the ones with the roses) in my near future.

This post was not planned at all, I moved some things around but stay tuned for an exciting post (and possible giveaway for tomorrow!)

Over the long snowy weekend, I obviously did some window shopping on the Internet and stumbled across the retailer ILY. I have never heard of this online boutique before (let me know if you have) but I immediately fell in love with every piece of clothing on their website.

They have the most beautiful sweaters I've ever seen and they have the graphic sweatshirts that are very on trend right now.

I just had to share because I want/need everything!

What's on your wishlist?

When was the last time I did a Wishlist Wednesday? I can't even remember! I have not stopped shopping and it's really bad. I will say I have gotten better--a lot better than I was but still, maybe February will be the month that I knock my habit!

Anyways, even though I shop a lot, there are still some things that I haven't bought and things that I am seriously lusting after.

Side note: What I really want and I'm planning on doing this weekend is trading in my old iPad 2 for an iPad mini. I think I'm at the point where I want a smaller tablet that I can travel with on an everyday basis. Also, mine is starting to run a little slow and it's kind of annoying. So, I'm going to head to the Apple store and see if I can trade in my current iPad for some cash toward my new one. All that being said, clearly I need a new iPad mini case so if all works out, I'll be buying one of the ones in my wish list below.

I've also just discovered Henri Bendel and I'm obsessed with the brand so you'll see a lot of Henri Bendel in the list. It's so classic and chic, similar to Kate Spade but I think of it as Kate Spade's much old sister.

My first purchases: a planner I didn't need & a phone case
But really, everything on this list I don't need but only want -- those are the best kinds, right?

What is on your wishlist?

How is it mid November? How is Thanksgiving next week? How is my birthday in less than 2 weeks? Time is flying by and I don't like it one bit.

This is however, my favorite time of the year. Fall into winter, the holidays, all the good food and the chill air. The Christmas movies, wrapping paper, winter scented candles, ugh everything is so perfect during the holidays and I would never trade it for the world.

Another reason this is my favorite time of year? My birthday. I'm not one to celebrate their birthday a week before and after the actual day, but I do enjoy my birthday.

In less than two weeks, I turn the ever boring 23 years old. I'll go on and on about turning 23 another time but for now, I will daydream about what I want for this ever non exciting birthday.

Kate Spade Cedar Street Harmony Crossbody Bite Beauty Discovery Set HourGlass Ambient Lighting Palette Baublebar Ice Queen Collar Kendra Scott Ellie Oval Stone Stud Earrings  Kate Spade Why Hello There iPhone Case

This kind of is a combined birthday & Christmas list because let's be honest, I'm not getting all of this for one day. I've just been eyeing all of these things for so long and what better time to treat yourself than the holiday season?
