If you weren't aware, my favorite color is pink. I mean, I named my blog after it. Ever since I could remember I felt so drawn to the color pink. I don't think it's because it's a classic 'girl color', I think it's because it's so beautiful and there are so many different verisons of it.

Why I love it

Pink makes me feel so powerful and it makes me incredibly happy. Whenever I have something pink in my possession, I feel like I can do anything. I am so connected to the color pink...

I do go in and out of phases with what I like and don't like, but I have been in a very pink mood. I want everything pink, I want to be dripping in pink -- and I figured I'd share that obsession with you today.

My Favorite Pink Products

1. Lilly Pulitzer Planner: I have such a love of this planner it's insane. I've been using it for a little over a week and it's just as perfect as I remembered. I love looking at the pink color everyday, and I love how there are swirls of pink throughout it. It makes me so happy.

2. Minted Sugar Planner Inserts: I've been using these inserts for a while now and I just got new ones -- they're just so nice. I buy them for my Louis Vuitton MM Agenda and they are so pretty. I buy the regular notebook inserts as well as the weekly calendar. Minted Sugar has some of the best planner inserts I've seen and they're so worth it.

3. Barbie Moleskin Notebook: I've had this notebook for a while and didn't know what to use it for. As most little girls did, I loved Barbie when I was younger and as I've gotten older I've been nostaglic  for Barbie. I won't wax poetic about it but I just think Barbie is incredible. To celebrate the anniversary of Barbie, Moleskin released a line of notebooks; the moment I saw these notebooks, I got one. I wasn't in the market for a new notebook but I just had to have it. As I said before, I haven't done anything with it until I was ready to get serious about the blog and I made it my new blog notebook. It's perfect because it's obviously pink, and a nice, big notebook to write down all my aspirations and ideas. There are still other Barbie notebooks available and I think I need to add them to my collection.

4. Marc Jacobs East West Logo Tote: This is what really inspired this post and honestly, I don't know if I've ever loved a bag more (I think I say that about every new bag). I will do a handbag review on this bag but it's a great work tote and small enough to be used everyday. It's a gorgeous hot pink and makes me feel like such a badass. I've been wanting a pink bag for so long and this was an incredible choice. It is beautiful and a huge favorite of mine!

5. Tory Burch Wallet: I've been in the market of a new full size wallet for a while but I couldn't find one that I liked. I decided I wanted to try a Tory Burch wallet and after so much consideration and searching, I decided on a pre-loved Tory Burch pink wallet and I've been loving it! I almost want to use it as decor instead of actually using it. It's an epic hot pink and just the sight of it makes me so happy.

This post is a little past due because of my personal stuff that happened last week. A little update on the robbery... the police are going to be looking further into it because it's something that's been going on in my otherwise safe neighborhood.

Unfortunately, my insurance company doesn't cover stolen goods so I'm out of luck on getting any money from it. I've begun to repurchase most of the stuff that was in the bag that I actually need, like planners and wallets but other things like the makeup bag, Henri Bendel and Louis Vuitton notebooks won't be repurchased as of now.

All of that aside, I'm happy November is finally here. Aside from October, November is my favorite month because of my birthday, Thanksgiving, and the start of the Christmas season.

I was happy with the October that did just pass, though, because so much good stuff happened. I was very busy every weekend with fun things with family and friends, hence why I took a break this past weekend and just relaxed. I had a lot of blogging, writing, and catch up to play; plus I had to get my butt to the gym because I didn't go once in October.

I did some shopping this month and would've been including some of the items in this post but most of the stuff was in my stolen bag. (LOL). This notebook and this (similar) makeup bag were my two favorites,
but for now here are the things that I currently have and have been loving.

Evil Queen Fall Candles: I was ready for Halloween on October 1st and one of my favorites was definitely Hocus Pocus. My favorite thing to do was to light one of my Evil Queen fall/Halloween candles and watch Hocus Pocus every.single.day. I went through three of them this month: Bitches Brew, Resting Witch Face, and Squad Ghouls. They smelled so good, weren't overpowering and the fun colors added to my Halloween decor. They're AWESOME.

Free Spirit Fringe Notebook: I got this in a past POPSUGAR Must Have Box and when I got it, I was equally excited and disappointed because  I did not need another notebook. It wasn't getting much use until I realized how I could utilize it. This is now my every day, everything notebook. I've been making list after list, doodling, and just writing everything I could in this notebook and it's been keeping me super organized. My Henri Bendel notebook that was stolen was supposed to replace this but I figured that I'd just use this in place of that for now. It's so nice to have a normal size notebook (and not a mini Louis Vuitton) to really write things down and flip through pages.

Below are a few other notebooks that could make great 'everything' notebooks:

Kate Spade Noveau York Travel Mug: I didn't need a new travel mug but I couldn't pass up this new print from Kate Spade. I bought it late September and have been nonstop using it ever since. It keeps my coffee really warm and doesn't spill (as long as you put the top on correctly), so I've really been enjoying it.

Kate Spade Cameron Street Perforated Lane: I have been wanting this bag since it was released and when it went on sale, I finally got it. This bag is probably the most beautiful one I have in my collection and the light pink 'dolce' color is perfect and so different. The bag is rather large but feels small and fits everything! It's very lightweight so even when it does have a lot of stuff inside, it doesn't weigh down my shoulder. I did a reveal and mini-review in one of my videos this month so take a look. I'll be sure to do a full handbag review soon!

*If you want the perforated version, I recommend going ASAP because there is only Black and Deep Plum left!

What did you love this month?

I'm someone who loves paper; books, magazines, planners, notebooks, cards, etc. I love holding an actual paper in my hands, I'm constantly printing out things I could read online or writing down lists in one of my 50 notebooks.

I've been that way forever and I've documented that many times before. School supply shopping was always my favorite and when I graduated college, I knew that shopping trip in August would be the one thing I missed most. However, I've found my way around that and I'm always adding to my ever growing collection of stationery.

I don't discriminate either; I love all kinds of paper goods from things in the dollar section at Target to my Henri Bendel planner. I actually have to stop myself from buying more notebooks on the daily because I have too many and not enough uses.

I figured it'd been a minute since I wrote about stationery and with the start of planner season around the corner, what better time than the present!

I'm going to break down my current favorites as well as some items I have my eye on!

1. Louis Vuitton Agendas: This was a big win of 2017 and I think it'll continue to be my favorite for years to come. I use two of these (I got them pre-loved for like $50 each which is a STEAL), one for my blog planner and one for miscellaneous lists. I keep them with me at all times and they are so handy because you can truly customize it.

2. Small, Hardcover Notebooks: I have so many random notebooks sitting in my drawer and they all have something in common; they have random lists in them from over the past year or so and they're all small, hardcover notebooks with adorable sayings and such. I literally had to stop myself from buying this cute marble notebook because I have about 6 of a similar size not getting enough love.

3. Whitney English: Years ago I did a post on Whitney English & The Day Designer for Target; I haven't picked one up since then but am always tempted each year. Last week while I was in Target, I bit the bullet and bought an adorable leopard planner. I don't know what I'll do with it but I have it and I love it! (The planners are not online yet so check your local Target!)

4. May Designs: Can I really do a stationery post without mentioning my beloved May Designs? I don't know how many I have in my collection but I stop myself weekly from buying more. However, they just released an appointment layout that I have my eye on! Also, don't even get me started on the folios -- they are too cute for words.

5. Notepads: As much as I love notebooks and agendas, I love a good old fashioned notepad just as much. Making a single to-do list on a nice piece of paper, whether it's adorned with something cute in the corner or just a regular paper, I'm addicted.

Honorary mention: Post-its are God's gift to the Type A and I just got these ADORABLE coffee & donut ones from Target. I've had these marble ones in my collection for a while too and I love them. They make any note feel that much fancier. Also, I've started an obsession with these awesome diamond pens.

PS: I just discovered this Etsy shop and I need everything from there immediately. She has the cutest notebook designs!

PPS: Evelyn Henson also has some wonderful notebook prints that I've been dying to get my hands on for years but never pulled the plug!

Below are some items that are currently on my wishlist:

This month's brand buzz is dedicated to a stationary brand that has had my heart for years on end. It was one of the first online brands I discovered when I started my blog back in 2012 and it's a brand that I've never stopped following, caring about, or using.

I've spoken about them before and they were once known as May Books, but have transitioned into May Designs since they sell more than just notebooks.

May Designs started because Mica May was obsessed with stationery and notebooks. She started designing notebooks herself, because she was a graphic designer, and people started to take notice and they wanted to buy her notebooks.

That is how May Books started, and soon changed into May Designs when they started selling notecards, calendars, and other fun stuff.

I've been a customer of May Designs since 2012 and I'm obsessed.

The entire point of May Designs is that they are hand sewn notebooks that you can personalize; everything from the cover design to the label to the inside pages -- no two May Designs are the same.

At first, I only bought regular notebooks to jot down notes or to keep for the blog or work, but now May Designs have expanded into planners, gratitude journals, budget journals, meal & fitness journals, and even wedding & baby planners.

They are really good quality and stay good quality if you take care of them. They are hand sewn/hand made so it is easy for them to get a little run down.

Currently, I have around 7 May Designs in use:

  • Budget Journal
  • Meal + Fitness Journal
  • Gratitude Journal
  • 2017 Planner (for work)
  • Daily Planner (for home)
  • Random Journal
  • Work Journal
I also have May Cards which I bought when they were first released a few years back. The company is a great company that stands behind their product, and they continually put out cute designs.

Most recently, they released a HUGE wall calendar for 2017, and expanded their regular size journals to include jumbo & mini. My gratitude notebook is a mini and the 2017 planner for work (not pictured) is a jumbo size. I particularly love my jumbo size planner for work -- the soft cover makes it easy to store and work with, and the size is good for work because there's lots of room.

If you're in the market for a new planner, or just want to start the year off more organized, I HIGHLY recommend the May Designs books. You get 15% off your first order when you sign up for the email list, and they are pretty decently priced. Plus you get to personalize them, so why not!

Whenever I'm in a bind and I need a new notebook and don't want to spend a lot of money, and don't know what I exactly want, May Designs is always there & they're always a good choice.

If you have any questions about May Designs, let me know! I have a lot of them so I feel like I could answer any questions ;)

What is your favorite notebook company?

How do you like that triple W blog title? I love alliterations and I never make a point of hiding that fact. I think this was a tad bit overboard, don't you think?

Well, anyways... I wrote most of my blog posts for this week over the weekend which I haven't done in a while. I've been writing them each night, for the next day, but it felt good to get a lot written on Sunday.

On that note, I'm currently writing this post on Tuesday night. It was a rough day and I wasn't going to write but I have the time and what better time to post a Wishlist Wednesday than on a rough day?

I always want things but I go through phases. I've been in a stationery phase and I just want everything for a home office. Whether it's a planner, notebook, nice pens, notepads, etc...I just want it all! I haven't been lusting after a particular brand but just beautiful pieces of paper.

Aside from the items above, someone please buy me this notebook.

What are you wishing for this Wednesday?

Being part of the real world is actually kind of scary. I feel like I've been living a lie for the past month and it's really weird. I've had weird epiphanies lately where this doesn't feel like my life because it's all so new and strange.

I'd be lying if I said I didn't enjoy it though. Of course I miss college and it sucks seeing my under grad friends having the time of their life on campus while I'm at home, alone.

Having an actual job is weird. I can't even explain it and I don't know when I'll get used to it but it's just odd. And I love it.

It's surreal that I have a job, in my field, in Manhattan. People dream of that and I'm lucky enough to do it. It's awesome!

With a big girl job comes big girl work essentials. Being in an office all day, you need things that you would probably have at home. I'm also a complete bag lady and I carry around everything and anything with me.

I like to be prepared at all times so my bag is always filled with work day essentials.

Laptop + chargers: I bring my own laptop to work so of course it's important. I also carry laptop chargers, iPhone charger and my earbuds. Listening to music (Beyonce and Billy Joel Pandora are my favs) helps me focus while I work so definitely need those earbuds!

Bobble Water bottle: Reusable water bottles are my saving grace. I drink ridiculous amounts of water on a daily basis and these keep it cold and fresh. It's perfect for work because I could refill it anywhere and the bottle filters the water so it's safe to drink. It's impossible for me to get through a day without this bad boy.

EOS Lip balm: My lips get pretty chapped during the day and sometimes, just out of habit and to do something to distract me I apply lip balm. It makes me feel refreshed, as strange as that sounds, and keeps my lips hydrated. Right now, EOS is my favorite lip balm but I always switch between a few. Fresh Sugar Lip Treatments are my other favorite.

Colorful Pens: I love my Poppin pens from the Her Campus Survival Kit I received last year. These pink gel pens make any work more enjoyable. It's fun to look at and write in bright colors. It's the little things in life.

Planners + Notebooks: I need my planner at work because it's a force of habit. Whether it's remembering to do something, having a meeting with someone, or jotting down an idea or to-do that I realize I have to do at home. I need my planner, always. I also bring a legal pad and a notebook with me because it's essential for me at work. I need it to brainstorm ideas and take notes in meetings.  Cute notebooks make everything better.

Snack Bars: When I get hungry, I get hungry, immediately. A few weeks ago I almost passed out on the train because I was so hungry. It's a problem and I'm always prepared. I keep at least 3 snack/granola bars with me at all times just incase I feel super hungry.

Misc: Anything from Post It notes, Advil, Midol, and business cards. I keep a lot of random nothings in my bag because I love being prepared.

I carry a heavy bag on a daily basis, probably why my back is always in so much pain. The pain is worth being prepared in my case ;)

What do you keep in your work/everyday bag? Tell me in the comments!

Since I started Royally Pink, I have been talking about my love for one certain company. May Designs (formally MayBooks) has been my go-to for my stationery and monogrammed needs for the past year. I have more Maybooks than necessary: five to be exact and I don't ever want to stop buying them.

If you don't know what May Designs is, it's an eco-friendly company that sews their products with an old school sewing machine so it ensures no tear outs. The great thing about May Designs is that they are all green so their products can be recycled. Also the fact that you can customize your notebooks in any way you please is just so incredible.

Earlier this year, May Designs debuted MayNotes and I've been dying to get my hands on them. I always found the excuse not to buy them but who can resist monogrammed, personalized, colorful stationery?

It's not just the products that I have fallen in love with, I fell in love with the company. I love the way the way May Designs represents themselves on social media; they are fun, classy, and chic. They care about their customers and that shows through their customer service (seriously, some of the BEST).

May Designs is a company, a brand, that I haven't been able to shake. Something about it just constantly pulls me in. I'm obsessed.

The company is something I have been dying to be part of in some shape, way or form and I have finally achieved my dream.

When May Designs announced on their blog a few weeks ago that they were going to start accepting Campus Representative applications, I got so excited I started to feel light headed. This was it! This was my chance! I immediately downloaded the application but then hesitated, did I have too much on my plate? I mean it's senior year, I have classes, an internship, two jobs, this blog, Phi Sigma Sigma, CGG--I am a busy, busy girl.

After some deliberating I knew that I had to do it; this was my favorite company and I needed to associate myself with it.

I applied and was fortunately accepted! I am officially a May Designs Campus Rep!!!!!

Basically what that means is that I'm in charge of promoting May Designs on my campus and on social media therefore, here I am!
