March was a long, weird month. It felt like it went by so slowly but so fast at the same time. It felt like the entire month was a big joke; I kept running into weird issues with so many different things, like breaking a bunch of dishes and glasses when loading the dishwasher, getting my Instagram account taken away, issues with doctors appointments and just all around feeling disconnected from reality.

We're finally out of winter and embracing spring here in New York and as much as I love the fall and winter, spring hasn't been so bad the past few years. I think my seasonal depression was a lot worse this year than previously so the sun and warm breezes are a welcome feat.

I discussed my mental health recently and while I'm feeling so much better now versus two months ago, I still have my moments. I think what I'm struggling the most with now, which is something I've known for a while but felt like it came to a head in March, was the fact that I have a hard time holding myself accountable.

I'm a flake when it comes to taking care of myself, focusing on tasks and creating routines; it's really hard for me to stick with something because I get distracted so easily and feel very impulsive at times. It's something that was very difficult to handle in March and I'm going to do my best to change my behavior.

For example, I said I was going to do a low buy year and I did good in January, but then fell off the wagon, as most people do with resolutions. I'm going to do my best to stick with it in April so we'll see.

That being said, I did find some things that I truly loved in the month of March and that's why you're all here, isn't it?

This post was originally posted in March 2019 and has since been updated

I do not own a Chanel bag and I don't know when I will be able to afford a (preloved) one but that doesn't stop me from lusting after them obsessively. My passion for Chanel is a post for another day but today I really wanted to focus on the gorgeous Chanel backpacks that are all over my Instagram.

I also think I timed this post pretty perfectly because of the passing of Karl Lagerfeld two weeks ago. I was really upset to hear about it because he was the head of two fashion houses, Chanel and Fendi. I am not an expert on Chanel and I don't claim to be but over the past few years, as I've become more engrained in the luxury, I've learned more about the brand.

While backpacks are a trend that has been creeping up for a while, I think it's finally solidified itself as a classic (for the moment at least). I didn't know how I'd react to a classic fashion house like Chanel jumping on a bandwagon trend but when I thought about it, they are the ones who put these trends out so it makes total sense.

There are so many different Chanel backpacks from the Gabriella to the Urban Spirit, but all of them are stunning. While backpacks are definitely a trend, I can see these Chanel backpacks becoming classics because they have everything a Chanel bag should have; quilted leather, chain detailing, and a CC logo.

However, these bags are a pretty penny and as much as I love them, I'd much rather spend my money on a classic Chanel. Despite that, I have become obsessed with them and lust after them every chance I get. It was about a month and a half ago when my obsession reached its peak and I was doing everything I could to find dupes for any of these bags. That's what inspired this post!

Below are some bags that resemble these Chanel bags but one that I think resembles them the best, you can find on resale websites and it's the Tory Burch Kira Chevron backpack.

What is your opinion on backpacks?

I can't believe that February is already over! It does feel like it went by at a normal pace but it's almost the official end of winter. Once March 1st hits, it's spring in my mind; part of me likes it and the other part hates it because I am a true winter girl.

I feel like I say this constantly but I hate spring & summer, good news is we're one step closer to fall 2017! HAHA

I just wrote my recent beauty hauls post yesterday so there are some of my favorite beauty items, but as for the month of February, I didn't wear that much makeup so the beauty favorites are minimal makeup and a few accessories!

1. Louis Vuitton PM Agenda: My Louis Vuitton obsession is in full force and I cannot stop it. It has always been my favorite luxury designer; my mom had a few Vuitton bags when I was growing up and on my 16th birthday, my grandma gifted me a Speedy 30. Ever since then I wanted more Louis Vuitton but it's extremely expensive. Now, I've discovered the luxury community and the pre-loved market so I've been buying a shit ton of stuff. I think that's why I've been buying less makeup and other stuff. Well, this baby has really been a favorite of mine this month. I use it as my blog planner (more on that tomorrow) and it's so handy. I haven't had a real blog planner in a while and I like it so much better than digital planning. I am a true planner addict and ugh, I'm obsessed with this beauty!

2. Kate Spade iPhone Case: Kate Spade's spring arrivals are GORGEOUS and I am officially in love with all of them. When I spotted this new phone case, I jumped on it. It has roses & a clear back to let my rose gold phone shine through so it's perfect for me; I've been searching for a phone case like this for a while. It is classified as an iPhone 7 case on Nordstrom.com but the 6 & 7 phones are exactly the same in size so my iPhone 6s fits perfectly in it.

3. Laura Geller Quench-n-Tint: This is a new hydrating "foundation" from Laura Geller (the brand I work for!) and I've been obsessed with it all month. It's definitely more of a tinted moisturizer and it gives you an instant burst of hydration; it feels like you're splashing your skin with water. I pair it with my First Aid Beauty Color Correcting Cushion and they're the perfect companion. Sheer coverage for a no makeup makeup look -- definitely my go to this month! Quench-n-Tint will be available everywhere in April but for now it's available on QVC.

4. Chanel Rogue Lip Balm: I don't own any Chanel beauty products but when I heard good things about this lip balm, I purchased it. It's been going everywhere with me all month long and it's my new favorite; it's a bit pricey but I'm willingly to splurge if a lip balm works. It's moisturizing without being waxy and doesn't leave behind any residue that makes your lips dry or uncomfortable.

What were your favorites of the month?

As I've said in the past, I've been slowly getting into higher end nail polish. Whether it's Smith & Cult or Deborah Lippman, I'm slowly but surely testing the waters.

Well, this takes high end to new heights.

I received this gorgeous Limited Edition Chanel Nail Polish from my Little this Christmas and I've been waiting for Spring to use it.

The gorgeous teal/green color just screams warm weather and I finally tried it out last week. Now, this is my first ever Chanel product and I felt very luxurious when I received it. Don't worry, this hasn't opened up any luxury waves- I haven't maxed out my credit card with Chanel beauty products but this is a nice start.

As happy as I am to have this polish in my collection, and as much as I love the color, I think I was expecting angels to sing when I applied the first coat.

The formula is nothing to write home about, and I think I could've gone with three coats instead of two--it looked slightly patchy.

I do think that there was minimal chipping, which is the best thing you could ask for in a nail polish. I'd like to try a darker Chanel nail polish for the fall because sometimes formulas vary from color to color in a collection.

All in all, I wasn't super impressed with the formula but that has never stopped me from using a polish. It's Chanel & I'll use it till I can't use it anymore ;)

What is your favorite high end nail polish?

I've been on a huge bag kick lately. In the past 6 months, I've bought 3 different bags. I've always been a bag lady. I would rather spend a lot of money on bags rather than shoes or clothes. Bags are easier to care for and if you are really gentle, they will last a lifetime.

I just can't get enough, and as I get older, my bag tastes have changed. Also, having my own job where I'm making my own money allows me to look at more higher end bags. Because of all of this, my eye has been wandering greatly.

I don't need another bag, but I really want one. I especially would LOVE a Louis Vuitton Neverfull with Rose Ballerine interior. I've become obsessed with LV the past few weeks, constantly looking at the too expensive bags that I cannot afford, but I can't help it.

That being said, I rounded up some of my most coveted designer bags. I've done too many of these posts to count but I can't help it, new bags come out and I need to share my desire with you all!

What are your favorite items to splurge on?

Fall Fashion is fabulous! This summer in Beverly Hills I attended a makeup preview at Saks Fifth Avenue, and I absolutely fell in love with the Chanel Fall Collection. Military Greens are BACK, and I could not be more ecstatic. The collection is an eye pallet of darker shades, with blushes that POP, and "Les Vernis" nail polishes.

The collection of the Limited Edition Les Ombres Quadra Eye Shadow is a beautiful way to prepare for any event. The smokey look is posh, yet conservative at the same time. I love the smokey eyed look, which is simple to do with the pallet of four colors.

The fall collection is offering a new and improved formula, Le Blush Creme de Chanel. This blush is a new formula, which is simple to apply. All one has to do is apply the blush to the tips of their fingers or a brush, and the cream colour immediately appears as soft, but vibrant for incredible luminosity.

Cat EYES are in! Chanel's fall waterproof lasting eyeliner is perfect to create the best cat eye. MEOW!

Finally, Les Vernis Nail Colors are essential to any wardrobe. The nail polish is smooth, dries quickly, and it is easy to fix any mistake (which I always tend to make).

I am ecstatic to have guest posted today! Feel free to subscribe to my blog www.livinlikelarz.com for giveaways, to read more about my summer in Hollywood, and styling adventures!

I think that perfume is one of the best parts about being a woman. There are so many different scents out there and you're able to play around with all of them until you find your favorite.

Floral, fruity, lavender, vanilla, light, strong...there are so many different kinds to choose from.

This is my favorite perfume ever; it's a light floral scent that screams fun and flirty. There are so many different scents that pull together in this bottle--jasmine, vanilla, grapefruit..the list goes on. I've had this bottle for two years and I use it sparingly, only on special occasions.

I will pretty much buy anything that Taylor Swift sells so when I heard she had a perfume, I was psyched. I usually hate celebrity perfumes but this perfume smells incredible. It has a scent similar to Britney Spears' "Fantasy" but not as sweet. It's filled with raspberry, vanilla, and a touch of peach. It's very playful and is just strong enough to wear every day.

This was the first perfume I fell in love with years ago. It just smells so good! It is nothing but a perfect apple perfume but not too strong. It has just enough scent for you to smell great without an overpowering aroma. One might think an apple perfume is gross but this is the best smelling perfume I've ever worn.

This is definitely on the pricer side but it just smells wonderful! This is my aunt's go to perfume and I've definitely snuck into her room once or twice to use it. This is a more mature scent that has a bit of musk to it. It isn't really sweet but more sensual; it's elegant with a touch of floral.

What are your favorite scents?
