I've been meaning to buy this bag for months and finally, a few weeks ago it went on sale. It was around 30-40% off and I was ready to buy it.

Then, it dawned on me... maybe I would wait for a sale on sale. I had a 15% off coupon for any Kate Spade item but I still thought that there was a better deal awaiting me.

I always shop on sale or with coupon codes but I'm always very impatient so I usually just buy what I want ASAP, but I felt like there was a deal coming my way. I mean, Columbus Day weekend always has incredible deals so I decided to wait.

Well, I was 100% right because on Thursday morning I woke up to an email from Kate Spade stating that they were offering 30% off on sale items.

I immediately bought my bag and had to resist buying anything else. I mean, 30% off sale is an incredible deal.

I thought I was done with planners for this year, but low and behold, here we are.

I thought I was content with my Kate Spade planner for the year but now, I can't stop thinking about the Henri Bendel planners.

I had a Henri Bendel planner last year and it worked really well for me. I love the design of the planners and the hand-drawn Bendel girls, it makes me feel so chic and sophisticated. However, I wanted to stay true to my roots and try Kate Spade planners again, because my 1st round with them, I wasn't pleased.

I've been dedicated to my Kate Spade planner since August and I've really been loving it, but now I've seen something shiny and new and I can't help but wonder... maybe I buy a Henri Bendel planner as well.



To see if I need two main planners, I'm trying to use my 2017 Henri Bendel planner as a 'home' planner and so far, so good.

The only qualm I have about the Kate Spade planner is that it is rather heavy, just like my Lilly Pulitizers of the past, which is why I chose to get a Henri Bendel one. The HB planners are lightweight and aren't spiral bound, so they sit better in my work tote.



If I was to get a new Henri Bendel planner, I'd use Kate Spade as my 'home' planner and Henri Bendel as my to-go planner.

Nordstrom has been doing some hardcore price matching lately. From beauty to clothes and now handbags, Nordstrom has been reducing their prices anywhere from 10%-20%.

Well, I was looking at the handbag section just now because that's what I do on Sunday afternoons.

That being said, my breath was taken away when I saw that the bag I've been lusting after (when aren't I lusting after a bag?) the Tory Burch Perry Leather Tote is on sale for 20% off. This is a staple in Tory Burch's collection so to see it on sale, in the regular colors, is something that I feel I need to give in to.



I know Tory is also having a sale on her website-- use the code BLOOM for a certain amount off.

But this bag is calling my name. I need it so much.
