Fall is my favorite time of year for a lot of reasons but mostly the fashion. There is nothing more chic and sophiscated than fall fashion; nothing prettier or cozier or more lustful than a sweater, leggings and boots. It makes my heart sing a beautiful song.

Personally, I think this year's fall fashion trends are some of the best; lady jackets, plaid, suede...give me all the texture & warm hues. The shoe trends are also right on point; knee high boots are back, ankle booties, and we can't forget about ballet flats, can we?

Aside from the trends, the brands are killing it in the shoe department. Everything does look a little similar but I like that, because you have a wide variety of price points, fits and styles. From Steve Madden to Sam Edelman and Marc Fisher, every brand has a pair of shoes you'll love.

It's no secret that I love accessories; they make my world go round and my wish to have every single object of my heart's desire.

As of late, that desire is a vanity case. I don't know if there have just been too many pictures floating around on Pinterest of beautiful, messy vanities overflowing with designer makeup and luxury accessories, but I can't get a vanity case out of my head.

I want to replicate those photos and have a sleeker, more sophisticated way to both hold and display my makeup both at home and traveling. I've been very into vanity cases lately and have been lusting after so many different designer ones...from Celine and Louis Vuitton to contemporary brands under $100.

I've been very into the vintage aesthetic lately and vanity cases fit that perfectly. These are the ones that I've had my eye one and maybe one of them will be mine soon.

I have never been a shoe girl; I much prefer to put time and money into my handbag and accessory collection. However, lately, I've been very into shoes, channeling my inner Carrie Bradshaw and I'm simply overwhelmed by how many shoes I am drawn too.

Maybe it's resurgence of the ballet flat, and all the variations that come along with it that have sparked my interest in shoes. Or maybe it's the fact that ever since I bought the Hello Lover heels from SJP Collection, I want to be the kind of girl who wears heels in a casual setting.

There are so many incredible shoes that are currently out for the spring season, for every occasion and moment, and I want them all.

I don't remember when I learned the word 'Birkin', maybe I've just always known a handbag that exquisite, that desirable, that expensive existed somewhere in the world. It wasn't until much later in my life that I would come to know the bag so well that I could almost feel it in my possession.

I've been watching handbag and luxury videos on YouTube for almost 10 years and seeing influencers unbox, review, and show off their Birkin babies still makes me salivate at the mouth. I think that will be the closest I ever get to seeing a Birkin but who knows... back then, I didn't think I'd ever own a Chanel bag and now I have two.

Hermes Birkin bags have been more popular than ever and with the rise of the luxury community on TikTok it feels like you're constantly seeing people shove their Birkins and Kellys in your face. It feels like everyone has one of the coveted handbags in their collection. Whether they're real or fake is an entirely different discussion.

There has been a trend going around for the past year or so that I have taken to very kindly and that's tailored jackets. They've been every where for over a year and throughout the seasons, we've seen different styles, materials, colors, and silhouettes.

These tailored jackets are the definition of quiet luxury; they're fit, flattering, and completely classic. You can dress them up or down, wear them to work or to dinner and I think they are the perfect addition to every wardrobe.

Christmas is less than a week away and New Year's Eve is right behind it. I'm usually home for the holidays so I don't dress up a lot but that will change for Christmas Eve this year since I'll be out to dinner with my family. New Year's Eve is a different story and I'll just be at a friend's house; it's not too fancy but not too casual.

I still want to feel festive so I'm going to try to incorporate sparkles and sequins in some way. The same goes for Christmas...which brings me to today's post. I wanted to round up some of my favorite holiday looks, that can be for any time over the next two weeks!

One of my New Year's Resolutions is going to be to be more intentional with my wardrobe. I want to enhance my personal style, feel good in the clothes I wear, and look forward to getting dressed in the morning. This exercise is the first step I'm taking...

J.Crew has been hitting it out of the park lately and I simply refuse to shop anywhere else. From trendy pieces that feel classic, and classic pieces that feel trendy, they have something for whatever occasion you're looking for.

Ever since Olympia became the new creative director, it feels like J.Crew is returning to form. It's like the spirit of Jenna Lyons lives on in Olympia (also have you been dying over Jenna and the entire new RHONY cast?! They're my FAVORITE cast right now!) and I love it.

When I was younger I was obsessed with ballet. I knew I would never be a professional ballerina but I enjoyed my time in dance class so much. I took three ballet classes a week, was able to get my pointe shoes, and was really proud of the work I put in trying to get better.

My dance classmates and I had such a strong bond and they remain a highlight of my teenage years; I look back with such fondness and love, it always makes me smile.

Every so often I tend to go down the ballet rabbit hole and dream of picking it up again but lately, it's been on my mind more than usual. I think that is due to the ballet-core trend, and the return of ballet flats as the go-to shoe that has been floating around.

To me, ballet-core can be two things: it can look like you are actually going to a ballet class or it's pink, frilly and resembles a ballet recital costume. I love this aesthetic so much and it's so fun, feminine and free!

I've been eyeing so many unique pieces and wanted to do a little round up of some items!

I have been wearing the same gray Steve Madden slip on sneakers for around 8 years now and it's time they get retired. They're old, worn, dirty and just not in the best shape anymore. I've tried to replace them numerous times but I could never find a slip on sneaker that was comfortable, sleek and exactly what I was looking for.

At the start of spring I started to really focus on finding the perfect shoe and I actually found a lot of contenders. Ultimately, I decided to go with this one from Target, completely on a whim but I'm excited to hopefully find a replacement for my beloved Steve Maddens.

On my hunt, I actually found a decent amount of fun slip ons so I thought I'd share them with you all. I love slip on sneakers because they're so easy to throw on, can be sporty without being overly active wear and can dress down any outfit.

Ballet flats have always been my favorite shoe; I've been wearing them since the early 2000s and to be honest, I never stopped. Even when they were technically 'out of style', I was still wearing them with pride. I've always been that type of shopper and fashionsita - I will wear what I want, when I want, as long as it's not completely out of place or really trendy.

To me, ballet flats are a classic wardrobe staple and they never go out of style. I've been wearing my Tory Burch Minnie Flats for years because of their classic yet understated silhouette and they're so comfortable. However, I am happy to see them back and better than ever. The new versions definitely have a trendy twist, and some of them actually look like ballet shoes you would wear in dance class and I love it!

When I was taking out my summer clothes for the season I realized that I needed a serious overhaul. For the past few years, I feel like I've been trying to dress like someone I'm not; I wanted to present myself in a way that wasn't truly me. I was trying to keep up with trends, with my friends, and what I see on social media. I've discussed how I feel like I don't have my own style before and I think I realized that my style is exactly what I wear.

It is minimal, comfortable, and filled with neutrals and maybe a bit of color. My outfit comes to life with my accessories: my headbands, jewelry, and handbags. I like a plain canvas; jeans, t-shirts, sweaters, and all the simplicity that comes along with it.

Overall, I think I protect my comfortability most because if I am not comfortable, I do not feel present nor do I feel confident. I need to like what I'm wearing, like it touching my skin, and how I look. That is my style.

I'm getting off on a tangent but basically, I needed a new summer wardrobe and nothing available was really doing it for me; Nordstrom hasn't had anything good, Abercrombie wasn't sparking any interest but then I started looking at J.Crew, my wardrobe staple and wow I was in shock.

J.Crew is back baby!

Nordstrom is my favorite retailer. They have been my favorite for years and with good reason; it's almost like going to Target... there is nothing Nordstrom doesn't have. You can get almost anything and everything you need at Nordstrom whether it's a candle, a beauty product, a pair of shoes, or designer sunglasses.

They have high-end items, mid-range items, and more affordable options... plus, they are always having sales and do incredible price matching.

One thing I always love about buying from Nordstrom is the basics. I think they are a great place to stock up on the items you wear daily like long sleeve t-shirts, sweaters, leggings, athleisure, and more. I love looking to the Nordstrom house brands like Zella, BP, and Caslon for these staples. The brands are good quality and hold up for a number of years -- I've had pieces for at least 4 years and they look great.

Just as I did for Thanksgiving, I figured I'd talk a little bit about what to wear to Christmas this year. As Omicron continues to run rampant, especially here in New York, your Christmas plans might've changed but that doesn't mean you have to sacrifice fashion.

My style has been sort of changing recently, and I think that's because of the people I'm following on TikTok and Instagram, and who I kind of want to grow into. My style at the moment is comfort mixed with preppy, grand millennial and a little bit of LoveShackFancy chicness. It sounds like it's all over the place but I feel like I have a grip on it.

For Christmas Eve, I think I'll be a little more dressed up while for the Day, I'll rely on the comfort and laid back. All these looks fall into either of those categories.

*Also, a lot of the items are from LOFT because I've been a little obsessed and they have the cutest clothes right now.

It's really true what they say: what's old is new again. Y2K trends have been coming back around for a year or so at this point so it was only a matter of time until Uggs were on everyone's Christmas lists.

Let me be clear: I have never stopped wearing Uggs. I have been wearing Uggs since 2007 and there hasn't been a year since that they haven't been on my feet during the winter. I have gone through quite a few pairs and continue to ask for new pairs for my birthday or Christmas.

Since Uggs have been 'out of style' I have had multiple pairs of slippers, a pair of moccasins, the classic boot, the Bailey button boot, and a furry boot. I could never give up these comfortable, easy-to-wear and style boots. They are just too practical!

I'm very happy that everyone else is hopping on the Ugg train this winter because it just means more boots for everyone! Yes, Uggs are officially back thanks to Gen Z being obsessed with early aughts fashion, the Teflar collaboration (which I scored a bag that won't be here for another month) and because of a newer style, the mini boot.

Getting dressed for Thanksgiving is always my favorite; it's always fall colors, comfy textures, and a little trendiness with some classic twists. Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday so it shouldn't be a surprise that I love dressing for it!

This year, I think I'm going to be a little more dressed than usual because, for the first time in a while, I won't be in my own home and will probably be at my grandpa's house. I'm also trying to experiment more with my outfits, as I've said before so we'll see what I come up with.

I did want to put together a little guide on what to wear to Thanksgiving this year because I honestly have really been into fashion lately, more than usual I think. I really love the classic look with a trendy twist, and I think it's my new vibe.

That being said, I have been adoring everything I see from Loft and J.Crew. They are two of my favorite retailers that I think always nail the classics and do a good job at putting trends forward as well. Most of these outfits are from Loft with a few randoms thrown in, like my favorite Good American jeans.

No matter what your style is, you'll be able to find something in this little guide that you can recreate for Thanksgiving this year!

We're well into the fall season and since it's the beginning of November, I guess now is a good time to get into the items on my fall fashion wishlist. I've been really into clothes lately, though I don't have anywhere to go or anything to do. That doesn't change the fact that I want so many new, beautiful things!

I've spoken previously about how I always feel out of place in fashion; I don't feel super stylish and that I just like to be comfortable. However, that has changed recently. I've been wanting to be more stylish, to wear more trendy items but also not overthink it. I want to feel like myself and look like myself, without adhering to everyone elses' guidelines and standards. I also have realized what looks good on me and what doesn't so I've been trying to play into that more too.

If I look good, I feel good and I radiate that energy so I'm going to stick to what I know and add some flair where I can.

In the past, I felt like that my style was preppy but that also went with the times, when everyone was dressing trendy. Now, I think I lean more toward the grandmillennial style with a mix of classic and comfort. I also have expensive taste... I go onto the LoveShackFancy website at least once a day and dream of wearing everything there but I know it's not realistic.

All of that being said, I am channeling my inner Nancy Meyers/Meg Ryan/Christian Girl Autumn for the rest of the fall season. For the winter? We'll get to that in a few weeks!

Below is everything on my wishlist aka what I wish I could buy but probably won't... and also wanted to share a few of my favorite outfits I've worn recently.

My Current Favorite Fall Looks

This is the perfect fall outfit: Loft Pumpkin Spice sweater
Zella Leggings
Louis Vuitton Pochette Metis
Antonio Melani x Nicola Bathie Flats

BB Dakota Dress
Jack Rogers Booties (similar

Even though I want to dress a little differently, a little more put together I will always be a leggings and sweatshirt girl at heart!

When I started Royally Pink in 2012, Kate Spade was my everything. That lasted up until a few years ago when I started to not like what the brand was putting out. It made me sad because Kate Spade spoke to me on such a deep level. Everything they were releasing was kitschy and cute, it was basically my personality at one point.

There was a moment in time when I was buying something from Kate Spade on a weekly basis and checking the website every single day. That ended when the new creative director took over in 2017.

Well, that old creative director has since left and someone new is taking over and you can totally tell from the latest Kate Spade collections, including the reason for this post.

Kate Spade's heritage is New York and over the years the brand has done a lot of different New York collections to show off that love. Well, the Fall 2021 collection is New York themed and it's the first time in a very long time I've fallen in love with a  Kate Spade collection. That in itself deserves a blog post, of course.

I had to go looking through my Instagram for these KSNY photos

I bought these taxi earrings in 2017 but they have new ones!

I've always loved taxis...

How adorable is this old NYC map tumbler?

I love this collection so much, it's taking everything in me to not purchase every single item but I will definitely be buying at least the Metro Card wallet. How cute for when I have to get on the subway again?! I also need the Taxi flats because I missed out on them the last time they were available a few years ago.

Below is everything I'm loving from the collection and I just had to share! It's everything I love: New York, Kate Spade, and fun, quirky products. I also think this collection comes at the perfect time when New York is coming back from the pandemic and as we head into the 20th anniversary of 9/11.

My passion for my city never falters and I'm so happy Kate Spade understands that.

What do you think of this new Kate Spade collection?

I have spent most of my adult life looking for the perfect pair of jeans. I don't wear jeans often mostly because I spend my days in leggings and because I have never found jeans that fit me just right. For a while, I thought that American Eagle jeans were perfect for me because they fit right, were decently priced, and held up nicely.

That is until they started to fit me weird, stretch too much and be so uncomfortable. I realized I needed to find something better and maybe invest in better jeans. I wanted jeans that looked amazing on me, that felt good, and were high quality. My thighs are thick and I'm a bit curvy so I figured it was time to invest in something better than $60 jeans.

Wedding season is officially kicking off and I'm honestly really looking forward to it. Last year, I was supposed to have a ton of weddings but that of course, got pushed back to this year. Now, starting this coming weekend is a marathon of weddings and I cannot wait. I have three weddings this summer, one in the fall, and then three next year.

That means I will need a ton of dresses, especially when the guests overlap, which they will occasionally. Dress shopping always stresses me out and makes me really upset. When I was younger and would go dress shopping for proms, dances, parties, I would usually end up hysterical crying, and having a panic attack. I hated how I looked in the mirrors, hated how the lighting made my skin look... it was just always a disaster.

Now, I just shop online and hope for the best. I've gotten a better understanding of what looks good on me and I can shop confidently, though with some hesitancy because I just can't shake the teenager out of me.

What I've learned from blogging and social media is that weddings are different all over the country. Some are extremely casual, some are in the middle, and others are really high class and formal. Here in New York, they fall into the last category. I've never been to a wedding that wasn't over the top and extremely formal. They might not be black tie or even black tie optional but they're up there.

Sherpa is having a moment. It started a little bit last year but I think everyone has gone full cozy and rightfully so... it's the best, most comfortable material ever. Plus, it screams winter and hygge and I simply cannot get enough!

Now more than ever before every brand is releasing their own version of cozy, sherpa clothing. There are tons more when it comes to accessories but that's a post for another time. While sherpa is definitely having its moment in the sun, let us not forget other necessary winter fabrics like velour and fleece. I'll include those as well because I definitely feel like cozy clothes, in general, are in the spotlight, thanks to our friend, the pandemic.

Today I wanted to round up the coziest fits to wear quarantined in your house for the next few months. Throw on a sweatshirt, get under a blanket, light a candle, and have a true hygge moment.
