There has been a trend going around for the past year or so that I have taken to very kindly and that's tailored jackets. They've been every where for over a year and throughout the seasons, we've seen different styles, materials, colors, and silhouettes.
These tailored jackets are the definition of quiet luxury; they're fit, flattering, and completely classic. You can dress them up or down, wear them to work or to dinner and I think they are the perfect addition to every wardrobe.
What makes these jackets such a perfect addition to your wardrobe is the variety in which they are available. If a form fitting jacket as a top is not your style, you can opt for a similar silhouette in a sweater or cardigan.
One of my favorite features of the jackets are the gold button detailing; it adds such a level of sophistication and makes me feel instantly pulled together.
The brand that has been doing these jackets the best is of course, J.Crew. They call them 'Lady Jackets' and everyone is obsessed with them. They're are endless materials, colors and patterns to choose from and they're all of incredible quality.
As I prepare for my London trip in April (a post on that is coming!), I'm searching for more lady jackets to bring with me because I think they will be the perfect thing to wear during the day.
