The New Little Problems

Little Problems was the first company I ever featured on my blog so I'll always have a special place in my heart for the sorority girl run company. 

Lauren is such a gem and such a business woman, I'm always impressed with her work so when an email from Ms. Lauren popped up in my inbox this week, my ears immediately perked up.



Little Problems recently relaunched this week with a brand new design, logo and some new products for the sorority girl in your life.

If you don't know, Little Problems is a company that sells accessories for your Big or Little with cute little slogans and sayings. The story of Little Problems is simple: it started off as a Twitter account, using the hastag #littleproblems with "problems" relating to being a sorority Little sister. 

It soon developed into a webstore and now it's a sorority phenomenon. The ladies of Little Problems are well educated, well respected and have a work ethic like no other. They're passionate about what they do and it shows through their work. I'm obsessed!



This time around, Little Problems has new products such as new koozie designs, stadium cups, and even sunglasses. They're perfect for your big or little, they'll be sure to adore them!

Sorority Sunday: Craft City

This past week was another wonderful experience in my sorority life. We have started new member education with my fabulous eight new members and now as we entered the second week, that could only mean one thing....BIG/LITTLE NIGHT!

Being on the executive board, everything is heightened and made more stressful, more nerve-wracking, and a little more exciting. I don't get to sit back and relax, I'm constantly on edge with everything going on, even if its not my job. 

Big/Little night was no acceptation to that rule. 

It's the one night out of the year where everyone is completely happy and filled with so much love that it's almost sickening.

Getting your big or getting your little makes everything in the sorority so much sweeter. You have a mentor and you are a mentor, there is so much fun and love to be had it's insane. I can't even explain the feeling of opening your eyes and seeing your perfect big or having your little turn around and see her reaction.

Both when I got my big and my little I was so excited I could've cried. There was so much emotion and it's so difficult to explain to someone who has never gone through it.

Big/Little night is my favorite, even if I'm not becoming a big or getting a little. Watching someone open their eyes is so exciting and so thrilling, I fall in love with my sorority and my sisters all over again.





With Big/Little night comes lots and lots of crafting; there is nothing sorority girls love more than crafting. I love seeing what everyone crafts for their new additions but also, there are gifts for everyone else too! 

Usually people will buy or craft their little and big something or in my chapter, we have secret sisters which is almost like an additional big so there will usually be something for them also.

This semester, I bought my little an adorable new pair of letters to add to her collection. I also crafted for my niece (my co-little's little) and my secret sister.

For my niece, I crafted an adorable canvas made from old Lilly agenda pages (she is just as obsessed as I am!) and I honestly love the way it came out. I used mod podge and some paint for an extra touch and thought it would be a cool idea to use the story of Lilly that is the front page of the agenda for the background of the canvas.


For my secret I kept it simple and just a little plaque with our nicknames on it. I used regular acrylic paint,  a Sharpie paint pen and some gold gems I had lying around.



I'm really happy with how everything came out and it totally put me in the crafting mood. I need to make another trip to Michaels to buy some more supplies!

Little Problems Campus Rep

I've talked plenty of times about how incredible Little Problems is and I'm pretty sure every day, the team gets better at their job.

They just released an entire new line of products, vamping up their store and improving the message of Little Problems.



Whether it's beautifully patterned buttons, a new koozie design, or a new line of Big/Little hair bows, Little Problems has all the Big/Little gifts you could ask for!

Aside from the new products, Little Problems are looking to add some new sorority ladies to their fabulous team!

You could become the new campus representative for Little Problems by simply filling out an application.

Last year, I was a campus rep for a little while and it was incredible. Working with a great team like Little Problems is a really wonderful experience and I had so much fun being a campus rep. If you adore your sorority, are obsessed with your Big and Little, and have a decent amount of time to dedicate to a new project, apply! You won't regret it!

Little Problems Giveaway

The great company Little Problems is celebrating their 1 year anniversary tomorrow, May 26th. Over the past year, this twitter account has grown into a wonderful company that gives sorority girls everywhere more reasons to spoil their bigs and littles.

The ladies at Little Problems are passionate about their work and are always working around the clock to give their customers a great shopping experience.

Lauren and her team are dedicated to Little Problems and Wounded Warriors Project, which a percentage of every purchase goes toward.

Spotlight Saturday: Little Problems

One of the major parts of a the sorority and Greek life experience is the sense of sisterhood and family that comes along with it.

When you go through the new member education of your sorority and become an official sister, you will learn that most chapters have family trees. Within those family trees, you will have a niece, an aunt, or a cousin.

With all those family relationships, there is one that is MAJOR. Your big and your little.

If you are around sorority girls at any given moment, you will probably hear them mention the love they have for their amazing big and incredible little. I know I have two amazing ladies in my life who I have the honor of calling my big and my little.

A sorority brings a big and a little and with that comes gifts...lots and lots of gifts. It could be a painted picture frame or a piece of jewelry, either way you are showered with gifts from your big/little.

There is one little company that has truly captured that relationship you have with your big and little. They have a great line up of products that you could buy to show your big or little how much they mean to you.



Little Problems is a company that I was once a campus representative for; Lauren created the company to focus on something else other than her boyfriend's deployment in the military. She rounded up the best sorority girls out there to create something truly special.

Little Problems has a line of decals and koozies that are dubbed with sayings such as "Little Gets What Little Wants", "Big Knows Best" and "Like Big, Like Little."

I bought my little a koozie that says "Little Gets What Little Wants" and she adored it! It's great quality product and sure to put a smile on any sorority girl's face.

It's not only a company that sells great products but a twitter account that literally tweets about #LITTLEPROBLEMS.



When I grow up, I wanna be classy, sassy, and absolutely damn fabulous just like my Big

you mess with my Little. Then you're dead.

People are always telling me, "You're definitely your Big's Little."

The unique thing about Little Problems is that some of the proceeds from your order will go toward the Wounded Warriors Project, helping injured military personnel.

Little Problems is such a special company that does so much for others while giving us sorority gals great products to love!

Big/Little Reveal!

I've mentioned before that I am a sister of Phi Sigma Sigma and we are currently putting our new members through the new member education process.

During new member ed., the girls get their bigs and it is such an exciting time!

We got 10 new Phi Sig babies this semester and my chapter is one of the smaller national ones with only 42 sisters. We did though have a number of girls who were up for a little so I was nervous that it would get too competitive.

I was only initiated one year ago and there were plenty of older girls who had seniority over me so I didn't think I was going to get a little.

Well, I thought wrong and last week I revealed myself to my most precious and perfect little, Tina.



I spent the weekend leading up to reveal crafting for my little and it was some of the most fun (and stressful) I've experienced.

It's difficult to explain but having a little is similar to having a child, I felt like I was shopping for a new born baby.

I crafted so much and made so many different goodies for my perfect babyangel. 

I went to two stores to buy my crafting supplies: Michaels and The Christmas Tree Shop.

At Michaels, I bought my paints and decorations, and a few wood and glass products. At the Christmas Tree Shop, I purchased all my picture frames and glasses that I decorated.

On the glasses, I used Sharpie Paint markers in blue, yellow, purple, and pink; they worked wonderfully and it was really easy to write out words...a lot easier than using any other type of paint.

For the wooden products such as the PSS and the pin box, I used regular acrylic paints. After painting them, I put some mod podge on top to use as a glue and sprinkled as much glitter as I could on top, making it sparkle. 

The one mistake I made with the glitter was that I didn't secure the glitter with an adhesive spray so it was a mess, glitter everywhere.

One of my favorite products was the bowl I made; I made a glitter glue out of mod podge and glitter, mixed it together in a cup and then painted the inside of the bowl. I let it dry for a few hours and it came out beautifully...I've never seen anything like it.

The tradition in my chapter is to decorate a keepsake box for your little and that was another one of my favorite parts.

I really enjoyed crafting for my little; it was such a wonderful experience to give back when my own big has given me so much.

Getting a little is the most precious part of being in a sorority and I'm so excited for the journey that lies ahead!
