Happy July everyone! I had a very long weekend away in New Jersey and I'm happy to be home. I discovered something new this weekend: I'm highly allergic to dogs.

I've known I was allergic for a while now because whenever I'm around dogs for an extended period of time, I have a sneezing attack and can't breathe but this weekend, it was on another level. My aunt and uncle, whose house I was staying at, have a dog and I guess being there for three days made my allergies really act up.

On Friday night I had a panic attack because I truly could not breathe. It felt like I was breathing in sand... it was a horrible experience and made me sick the entire weekend. Now, I'm home with swollen eyes and distressed lungs but ready to get the week started.

I've been feeling really creative and motivated the past week, thanks to following some new accounts on Instagram and TikTok. I'm hoping that I can keep it up and actually get some work done this week.

All of that being said, let's get into the post.

Links I Loved

What I Bought This Week

I purchased a customized bracelet from the Etsy Shop, ShopGolden Stars. I needed a new control top so I bought one from Skims and also wanted to try one of their new sleep dresses

I also want to start highlighting the books I bought or scored from NetGalley so this week, I purchased Self Care, a novel about a wellness company. I cannot wait to dive into it.

Have a great Sunday and start to the week, everyone!

Wow... we're on week 30 of the roundup and the year is pretty much halfway over. August is around the corner and then you know what that means... Fall is so, so soon.

I've been thinking about my favorite season more and more the past week or so but I almost don't want it to come, so that it will last longer. It makes no sense but I have a feeling a lot of you know what I mean.

I think I mentioned this last week but I haven't been hating the summer. I haven't done anything super exciting and the weather has been super crazy hot and humid, but it's actually not bothering me. I haven't complained and it's been kind of refreshing. It's interesting how your body changes as the years go on and things that once bothered you don't really anymore.

In other news, I feel like I accomplished something this week. I told you all that I wanted to take Royally Pink up a level and one week is down. I shared more of my posts on Instagram Stories, scheduled a bunch of evergreen content on social media, and did a few other things that I hope make a difference in the future.

I've always heard that if you want your blog to be a business, you need to treat it like one. I think I'm finally realizing how much I want this to grow and be something special. No more joking around here, kiddos. I'm bringing out the big guns!

It's been so exciting this past week to take a different approach to content and the blog so I'm excited to see what else I have in me.

I have a Summer Friday today so it will be spent doing a little work, a few errands, and other things. The weekend will also be lowkey which I'm excited for -- the past 2 weeks have been super stressful at work and in my personal life

Anywho... here is everything I loved this week!

TGIF! Do I start off every Royal Round Up like that?

It's a nice long weekend for me -- 6 days off to be exact and I'm so excited! I have a summer Friday today, took off on Monday because I thought I was going away and then off for 4th of July on Tuesday & Wednesday.

I'm hoping to relax, get a lot of stuff done and maybe hang out with some friends. Sometimes you just need a long vacation to chill out!

Last night I rearranged my room because we had to move my sister's dresser into my room. She graduated college last month and will be moving home soon so she needed a bit more space in her room, and she didn't need the dresser.

I was unsure if I would like it but I have fallen in love with how my new room looks. I always liked rearranging my room; sometimes, when I was little, I'd come home from school and my cleaning lady would have rearranged my entire room. I LOVED IT because I felt like I had a new space and love a good interior design change.

It keeps things interesting, I guess.

My desk is now in the corner near my windows which feels cozy and productive, I have a dresser to make organization easier, and I switched my handbag display on its side to create more wall space. I'm in love!

This post is coming super late because I was so busy last night and was out all day today. I went to Tiffanys and literally balled out (not really but it felt like it). I walked in and knew exactly what I wanted, looked around for a bit and just bought them. It was awesome and I've never done that.

I purchased the Bead Bracelet with the blue Tiffany heart, and the Bone China Coffee Cups (I didn't spend $95 on cups -- I had a gift card from a contest I won at a conference and used that!)

Now it's time for the things I loved on the Internet this week!

TGIF! This week was super long and I'm so happy to have a summer Friday today. It's Thursday and I'm writing this and I'm so exhausted -- it's always Thursday nights that are the toughest because I'm coming down from the week and know that it's almost over.

I have a busy weekend ahead of me with running errands, friends, and then a family dinner for Father's Day. I expect myself to get a little sad this weekend because, for the past 2 years, Father's Day is very sad, of course. It just makes me really emotional and I just want to hide out in my room but I do celebrate with my grandpa and that's nice.

Either way, I am excited that I have a 3-day weekend. They are simply the best! I wish they were the norm for all corporate companies LOL.

My mind is like soup right now so I'm not going to ramble too much and get right into the links I loved this week!

This was a very long week and I'm happy it's over. Everything just dragged on and there were some little things that really annoyed me but it's the weekend!

Another reason the week sucked is because Kate Spade died. I wrote my post a few hours after I found out (and just posted it later that night) and I don't know if my emotions really came across that.

It was such a shock to hear that such a beloved designer who is responsible for one of the happiest brands out there took her own life. It just goes to show you that you don't know what's going on in someone's mind. Depression and anxiety provide you with a mask and you can wear it whenever you need to.

It's very interseting and of course, the conversation around mental health has been out in the open this week. I've always been very open about it because I was never embarassed about it but I understand that there are closed minded people out there that don't believe in anxiety and depression as real illnesses but guess what, it is.

I'm so sad for Kate Spade's family, especially her daughter who is only 13 years old. I honestly haven't been able to talk about it too much because I'm just so sad.

I've always felt that Kate Spade was a little cool club that only a handful of people really cared about the brand, myself included. However, the outpouring of love for Kate and the brand she built was insane. I was shocked at how many people actually had a true passion for the brand, even Anna Wintour who made a beautiful statement.

Her death has really shook me up in ways I didn't think ever would so it was definitely a weird week for me.

Anyways... here's what I loved this week... get ready for a lot of KS tributes

Have a great weekend everyone!

Happy June everyone! We're almost halfway through the year and we're just a few more months away from the fall season!

You know me, always counting down to my favorite season ever.

However, I have really been enjoying the little good weather we've gotten in New York over the past few weeks. I feel like it's been raining for months which I don't really mind because I find the rain very soothing.

Today I had my first Summer Friday of the season aka I was off from work. I spent the morning at the doctor's for a checkup appointment and then ran some errands and went to the gym. In case you were wondering, I also took a nap which has become my weekend routine. I have never napped as much as I have in the past month. I just can't get through the day without a nap.

Is this what getting old feels like?

I recorded two Youtube videos today so I'm hoping to get those up on my channel soon. I need to be more regular with that but writing is so much easier (for me) than filming and editing a video! LOL

Anyways, tomorrow I'll head to the gym again and then to the mall to return some stuff to Nordstrom (sneakers and this Kate Spade shirt) and then maybe pop into Kate Spade and Sephora to treat myself to something. We shall see!

For now, here are the links I loved this week:

We're a little late with the roundup this week but the good news is that it's a holiday weekend! I have been counting down the days to MDW for a few weeks now because I just needed a break... and an excuse to binge watch something.

It's Sunday, it's raining, and I'm on my couch watching Southern Charm: How They Got Here -- thank you Bravo!

So far, this weekend has been better than most. Friday night I went to the Yankee game with my family tree (sorority tree that is) and it was so much fun. I hadn't been to Yankee Stadium in 4 years and I forgot how much I loved it. For the past few years, I've been going to Citi Field because all my friends are Mets fans.

I grew up a Yankee fan and my dad was the biggest Yankee fan so being in Yankee Stadium made me feel very connected to him. At one point I even got emotional and teared up -- it was very weird but it's the little things, right?

Last night I went to the city for my uncle's 60th birthday and it was just a nice night out with my family. That's why now I'm planning on relaxing for the next two days. My anxiety is a little high, but I'm relishing in the fact that I have no plans today and tomorrow.

In the meantime, here are my favorite links of the week:

What a weekend!!

It started off very happy on Friday with my sister's college graduation. It was a really bittersweet day because I was so happy to be with my family but I was really sad that my dad wasn't there. Another milestone spent without him really got me worked up.

However, it was a beautiful day and it was interesting to sit through a college graduation without being the one graduating.

I was exhausted after a long day on Friday so I came home, ran a few errands and then passed out around 9:30 AM. Hence why this blog post is coming to you on a Sunday afternoon.

Then, it was time for my Olympics. I woke up at 5 AM on Saturday morning to watch the wedding of the year -- the Royal Wedding.

I didn't do any royal wedding coverage here on the blog but that's why we're talking about it now. I was so excited and so emotional while watching the wedding. I had my tea and scones ready (and some coffee for the American in me) and I watched the first bi-racial woman marry into the Royal Family.

It was a simply magical day and my love for the Royal Family, especially Meghan and Harry (the Duke and Duchess of Sussex) has grown 10x.

Here are some of my favorite moments:

  • All the celebrities from Oprah to George Clooney to Spencer from Pretty Little Liars
  • THE HATS. GIVE ME ALL THE FASCINATORS
  • Princess Charlotte once again stole the show when she turned around to give one last wave to the crowd
  • Meghan's dress reveal was insane. I loved her dress so much; it was simple, elegant and everything I could ever want. Also, the veil was everything.
  • Meghan walking down the aisle was simply heart stopping. She looked like she was in a movie, a Disney movie to be specific.
  • All the smiling, laughing and lovey-dovey eyes between the bride and groom

  • That veil lift -- oh just strike me dead.
  • The laughter throughout the church as Harry and Meghan recited their vows made my heart sing

  • The kiss - that kiss was everything. It was a surprise and it was a beat or two too long which was wonderful

  • The procession throughout the town of Berkshire was truly something out of a fairytale. It was amazing

  • Her 2nd dress for the reception was jaw-dropping! It was beautiful!

After the royal wedding, I took a nap and then lounged around until it was time to head to the Mets game. It was really gross and rainy out but I had a great time at the game.

Now, it's time to round up my favorite articles about the Royal Wedding!

I hope you had a wonderful weekend and have a great week ahead!

Friday is here again! I was exhausted this week and that is thanks to the pollen that is killing me slowly. My allergies have not been this bad in years but this week, whew, they threw me and everyone around me for a loop.

Because of that, I fell asleep stupid early Tuesday & Wednesday night -- I'm talking 8:30 PM early. It was wild but I felt really well rested.

Iced coffee season is in full swing as well and I have been enjoying every sip. It's a very random thought but I felt the need to share.

I know I said this before, but I'm so happy its Spring. I'm really enjoying the season so far and next weekend is going to be the first real Spring weekend. It's my sister's graduation, the Royal Wedding, and I'm going to a Mets game sponsored by Barstool Sports. I'm PUMPED.

I read a lot of articles this week -- it felt really good to absorb so much content. Here's everything I loved:

It's officially August and I couldn't be happier. It's almost my favorite time of the year... even though I  saw Halloween candy at the grocery store this week and wanted to scream. Let's not move time so fast, ok?

It was a short work week for me and I'm grateful because I was drained this week. Work is going to get a lot busier because there are a lot of changes at the helm, so I'm just preparing myself fully. I'm excited though -- it's like a little jolt in my career!

I'm hoping that this won't throw a wrench in the blog and I'm going to try to stick to my editorial calendar so something like this week doesn't happen again. Life does happen so sometimes things have to take a back seat.

I don't have much else to say because I think I covered most of that yesterday but make sure you're following me on Instagram and on Youtube because I'll have a new video up soon!

Just a little post for National Lipstick Day over the weekend!

For now, here's what I loved this week!

Have a great weekend everyone!
