Would you look at that...it's the final week of the year! I can't believe the year is over in just a few days; it doesn't even feel real but I've already said that many times. The last week of the year is honestly one of my favorites because it feels like an eternal weekend. I worked yesterday and today, and I'll work on Monday so I have some semblance of a routine, but I could hardly call it actual work.

This week feels like a time to reset, to relax, and to unwind. It's time to reflect, indulge, read and watch movies. It's like a cozy and cold summer vacation and it brings me so much joy.

It also weirdly makes me sad, because it means the best months of the year are over and I have to wait so long for September again. Christmas Day is more depressing than anything because the Christmas season is over; I felt like that when I was a kid and I feel like it now.

I don't want to dwell on the sadness so let's get into the last roundup of 2024!

I can't believe we have a little more than 1 week left until 2025. It sounds like such a fake year, I can't believe it's actually happening. I feel like we're all trudging to the finish line, but at the same time, it feels so far away.

As I write this, New York is covered in our first snowfall of the year and it feels so good. I woke up before the sun this morning and because I laid in bed for hours, with my blinds drawn shut so I didn't realize it had snowed until my sister texted me asking if we had an ice scraper in the car. I love snow so much, I love the winter and what it symbolizes so the fact that it snowed on the winter solstice felt so kismet.

This weekend I need to finish wrapping presents, do some food shopping and try to squeeze in as much Christmas tidings as I could.

Let's get into the roundup...

God, where has the month gone? How is it already December 13th? *the holy day, Taylor Swift's birthday*. The month is going by in a flash and I don't feel like I'm absorbing all the Christmas joy. Right now, as I type this, I don't feel very joyful.

It's Thursday night, I'm watching Southern Charm with my Christmas tree lit and I feel so incredibly depressed. I've felt depressed all day and I can't shake it. I really feel like I need to cry but part of me is so numb that I can't seem to get it out. I'm hoping that I just need to go to sleep and I'll feel better tomorrow.

The week kind of went this way; I was in the office all week which was so nice! We had 2 holiday parties, I got my hands on a few new products, and it was so nice. The commute was horrifying because I work on 5th avenue and 5th avenue at Christmas time is brutal.

This weekend is going to be spent finishing up Christmas shopping and maybe doing some wrapping. I need to make my time as joyful as possible.

Let's get into the roundup.

We survived the week after Thanksgiving, and we're one step closer to Christmas! Happy December everyone, I hope you had a nice holiday & eased back into the week. I tried my best but then Tuesday, a bad commute kind of ruined it for me.

I ended up working from home on Wednesday because it was my mom's birthday & it was the Rockefeller Center Tree Lighting which was going to really mess up my commute (I don't think it would've been possible for me to even get home) so it's been a quieter week on my end.

This weekend will be spent, as always, getting my life together. Last week was so incredible, I got so much done and I want to keep that train moving. I also need to finish up getting my last few Christmas gifts....

Let's get into the roundup!

This was another long week that was weird; on Tuesday, it felt like Friday, on Wednesday it felt like Thursday...ever since election day it feels like the week between Christmas & New Year's. Time doesn't feel real but I'm going to need it to start acting like it.

As we head into this weekend, I have my sister's engagement dinner with her friends which will be really nice, and then I'm planning on doing a lot of nothing. I have all of next week off before Thanksgiving, and I cannot wait. I have a lot of appointments but I also have some plans to get my life together. It's that time of year when I feel the need to deep clean my life from the inside out, and it feels so good.

Next week is also my birthday and I haven't really thought too much about it...I feel like I'm floating and I need to ground myself and get serious about my life.

Ok, let's get into the roundup.

This is the 2nd time in a month that I've missed my round up post, the easiest post for me to write and I simply just didn't have the mental capacity last week to do it.

I was coming down from a busy work week, some home issues and preparing for my trip to Miami....to see THE ERAS TOUR! If you follow me on social media you saw my weekend and my goodness, was it perfection. The weather in Florida could've been better but I laid on the beach, went in the pool, had delicious food and saw my favorite person in the world...Taylor Swift.

Experiencing the Eras Tour was transcendent. I can't even truly put the feelings into words. I couldn't believe I was there. I couldn't believe I was experiencing what I've been watching on grainy TikTok streams for the past year and a half. I couldn't believe it was real.

It was a perfect night that left me shaking & in tears. It was life changing in so many ways.

And now, I'm back in New York, back at work and back to a jam packed calendar of weddings, baby showers, birthdays and all kinds of celebrations. It's all positive things...until November 5th and then maybe we'll talk. The election is driving me insane and I really just want it to be over. I don't think I'll be calm until November 10th...

Anyways, I'm hoping to get back on track here but those are always my famous last words.

Let's get into the roundup!

Goodness, what a week it has been! I'm writing this at 9:30 PM on Friday night after a very long day off from work. I was with some family accompanying them to a medical procedure and it took longer than expected (not because of anything bad, just normal doctor's office stuff)... and then it was over an hour to get home followed by Burger King for dinner & a binging Monsters: The Lyle & Erik Menendez Story on Netflix.

This week was pretty hellish -- I was very busy at work, and very stressed and just feel like I didn't have a firm grip on reality. I'm going on my first work trip for Estée Lauder next week and I'm very nervous; I'm nervous about flying, about being in a new setting and the normal anxieties around doing something new for the first time. I haven't been on a work trip in over 5 years so it'll take some getting used to again and I'm apprehensive.

My mom, sister & I were supposed to go to the Bravo Diamonds & Rosé Experience in Manhattan tomorrow but due to a ton of road closures & subway disruptions, we won't even be able to get into the city, so I'm both disappointed and relieved. I was really excited for it but I have such a busy 6 weeks ahead and I need to prep for my trip next week, so the extra day is much needed.

This was another week where I felt disconnected from reality, where nothing felt calm or easy, and I was just overwhelmed and pushed to the brink. I'm hoping next week is better but knowing me, it won't be because the week leading up to a trip is always very stressful. That's why I'm kind of glad I'll be home this weekend to do what I have to do.

Ok, enough blabbering, let's get into the roundup.

Hello Friday! Hello September! Hello Fashion Week! Hello Football Season! Boy, it feels good to be back and New York weather was on board with that. It's been beautiful all week long and it just felt good to be on the streets of Manhattan.

I'm still not fully in fall mode yet; my house is not decorated and I haven't shopped for pumpkin food. I don't know why, I need to check myself really. Am I sick? What is happening to me? However, I had a hot Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Latte this week, on a crisp NYC morning and it felt so good. I'll get there...

What I am excited about? Football! I never thought I'd say that but I'm a Swiftie through and through so as I write this, I am fully seated and watching Father (Travis Kelce) and the Chiefs. Mother (Taylor) looks so good in her Canadian Tuxedo. I am ready for all the WAG fits this season.

This weekend is going to be low key; it's going to be one of cleaning, organizing, resting, exercising and reading. I want to recharge, I want to clean my house, I want to decorate for fall... I need to do all of this because the next few weekends are going to be insane and I'm not ready for it.

I don't have much else to say so let's get into the roundup!

We're in the last few days of summer and I truly cannot believe it. I was starting to get meeting invites at work for next week and seeing September on the calendar stopped me in my tracks. I knew it was coming but I don't think I realized how off balance it was going to put me.

This week was difficult; I was very overwhelmed, stressed and just chaotic in so many ways. I have a very busy two months ahead of me and I'm not organized, prepared or ready for any of it. It's a scheduling disaster and I need to get my head around it, without wishing away the next two months.

I'm really looking forward to the long weekend; I have my last summer Friday today and of course, Labor Day on Monday so the next four days will be filled with relaxation, checking off to-do list items, family, friends and bbqs.

Let's get into the round up!

God, what a week! It was 60 degrees in New York in the middle of AUGUST! I was flabbergasted; I don't think anything like this has ever happened before and I wasn't sure how I felt about it. I'm not really ready for the fall...it's going to be very busy and chaotic, and I'm just trying to hold out on the unwinding summer a little bit longer.

However, I will say that the cold weather was glorious. I wore real pants for the first time in months, shivered a bit and didn't sweat walking to the bus. It put a little pep in my step that I wasn't expecting but desperately needed.

With the slight change in weather also came a meltdown over my wardrobe. I tried a thousand outfits on, hated everything and then got too inside my head for my own good. I made a vow, as I always do when this happens, to try to be a little more adventurous with my clothing. Then, I placed a $400 order on J.Crew, crossed my fingers and hoped for the best.

This weekend will be quiet; some family time, errands and relaxing. I had a hard week and feel like I'm coming down with some sort of illness so I want to just chill out.

Let's get into the roundup.

Happy Saturday! I feel like I'm in a daze after a whirlwind Friday. I helped my mom move homes and it was a very strenuous, physical day. We started at 7 AM (after I'd been up since 4:45 AM) and really didn't finish till 7 PM.

My entire body hurts, I was nauseous and anxious throughout the day and I'm happy it's over! The new house is so beautiful and I'm very excited to have a new place to go. One of my favorite things to happen yesterday? My mom gave me her couch because she got a new one so now I really feel like my living room is complete...a year after I moved in.

The pink couch I originally bought is very uncomfortable and has caused so much back pain in the past year. Now, I've moved my pink couch to the side and the real, comfortable couch is front and center. They both really compliment each other and I'm so happy to have an easy place to sit and relax.

Today will be spent getting back into reality since yesterday felt like I wasn't even present in my life, running errands and then back to my mom's house to help her more.

Let's get into the roundup!

Well, it's officially summer in New York! The weather has been incredible and it really makes all the difference in the vibes and mood. I'm looking forward to all my summer friends, making plans with friends and family, and trying to make the most of the summer before it's gone in a flash.

This week was pretty good -- lots of work, errands and Bravo shows to watch and then scream about on Twitter. If you want to read my final thoughts on this season of Vanderpump Rules, head over to my substack.

Tomorrow I'll be upstate for a bridal shower, and then I took Monday off so I have a nice little three day weekend which will be fantastic. This week at work is going to be very busy so I need to rest up and ensure I'm putting my best foot forward.

Let's get into the roundup!

It's the unofficial start of summer and I weirdly am pleased with it. I don't remember ever being excited for Memorial Day Weekend but wow, do I need it. I want the sunshine, the nice weather and the Summer Fridays. I'm ready for it!

What I'm not ready for is the bugs, the humidity and my frizzy hair. I also need to remember how to dress of 80 degree weather in Manhattan, so you win some & you lose some.

This weekend will be low key as usual but I am going to a BBQ on Sunday which will be nice. I want to catch up on the things I haven't done and maybe lose myself in a book. I am so deeply behind on my reading goal and I just want to get lost in a story or two.

I hope you all have a safe, lovely long weekend -- let's get into the roundup!

Oh boy, what a week! It started off great and then quickly went down hill. It started Tuesday evening when I started to feel so sick, so sick that I thought I had Covid. I didn't, which is a good thing but I sitll don't feel 100%.

Then, Wednesday night I blew all the blood vessels in my face by holding in a sneeze but I thought it was an allergic reaction to a new medication, so I got really nervous and had to go sleep at my mom's house. I was terrified, and didn't sleep well so I was out of it for most of Thursday. My anxiety was at an all time high, I still felt sick and I just feel like I've been living the same life for the past three days.

I'm very happy it's the weekend and that I could try to get back on a routine where I don't feel like I'm spiraling out of control.

Let's get into the round up, shall we?

Hello Friday! I'm ready for the weekend to be here so I can recharge, and celebrate Mother's Day! It's a tradition that we get together with my mom's friends on Mother's Day and this year, there's two new babies to add to the mix so I'm excited. I love being around babies so it's always exciting when I get to spend time with friends and their kids.

The week was pretty good -- I was a little tired but I got to attend a video shoot for work, the MET Gala was definitely a highlight and the weather was pretty decent. I got a lot of work done and found my footing post London but I really need to do everything in my personal life that I put off from last weekend. I was so tired and run down last weekend, I did only the essentials and now I need to do everything else.

Enough babbling, let's get into the roundup.

It was another light week here at Royally Pink because I just didn't have the head. I was an anxious mess trying to prepare for London, which I leave for today! I'm writing this before I leave for the airport and I'm oddly calm.

I had a full mental breakdown on Wednesday night which is pretty on par with when I usually have a breakdown before a trip. I need to get all my tears and anxieties out beforehand, and then I can calmly react and prepare. It's hard feeling like you're not normal for having these emotions and then once they pass, you question your sanity.

It's rough out here!

I'll be radio silent on the blog until I'm back next week, so be sure to follow along on Instagram and hopefully after this trip, and after I get some of my mind clear, I'll be able to return to form.

Let's get into the roundup!

Happy April! I cannot believe how fast time is flying, but at the same time it does feel sort of slow which I'm grateful for.

April is going to be so busy and it's starting to stress me out. My Oura Ring has been telling me for the past week that I've had stressful days and no matter how hard I try I can't seem to relax. I need to find a balance so I can try to function and prepare for everything happening over the next few weeks.

I also have been feeling confused about the blog, social media, and my writing. I have been obsessed with Substack lately and I really want to try to expand my writing beyond the blog, but on my own terms. I tried a pop culture Substack but that doesn't seem to be working out so I want to pivot. I want to indulge myself in the things that interest me and that I love reading about so we'll see what happens.

I've just had a lot on my mind and I need to sort it all out.

This weekend will be a fun one; I'm off from work today for some doctors appointments and errands, tomorrow I have a bridal shower and then Sunday is brunch for my friends' birthdays.

Let's get into the roundup!

Happy Friday! This week was a doozy; work was so busy to the point where I was near tears, and the weather was so up and down that it made me feel crazy. I've always known that the weather has great affect on me but I don't think I realized how much the rain has really done a number on my mental health. It has rained so much in New York over the past year but lately, it has really stunted my mood.

I need to just learn how to not let rain make me depressed but easier said than done, right?

I'm also gearing up for quite the hectic April which also puts an aura of stress over everything, but I'm excited because at the end of the month I'll be in London! Once I have my ducks in a row, I will try to do a blog post about the trip, what I'm bringing, and then of course when I get back I'll share all the details.

Make sure to be following me on Instagram to keep up with my travels and happenings.

Let's get into the blog post!

Spring has sprung but New York didn't get the memo because it's been freezing out the past few days. I knew we were in a fools spring but I was not expecting such a drastic turn  Aside from that, the week was pretty good; when I was working from home, I got up early and started a new morning routine and it felt so good. I felt so accomplished before I even sat down at my desk for work and it was honestly a game changer.

It's still early signs but the few changes feel so good and if I could keep this going, if I could just remind myself of the things that make me feel good, I'll be golden. I've incorporated stretching, meditation, getting outside before work, and doing one thing on my to-do list before getting started and it makes everything feel more smoothly.

It's the little things, isn't it?

Now, it's my last free weekend for a while; between now and my London trip, I have weddings, birthdays, holidays, and bridal showers so it's going to be chaotic and fun but at the end of it, it's my dream trip. Just keep swimming...

Let's get into the roundup!

Hello Friday! This short week was weirdly long, as they usually are and I know that this weekend is going to go by just as fast, which I'm not ready for. I have my cousin's bridal shower Saturday which will be great -- I always love seeing my family! Then, I'll probably just spend time with my mom and sister, and try to get my apartment up to snuff.

Ever since I took down my Christmas decorations in January I've been feeling like something is missing from my home. I want to hang curtains, maybe find some more decor pieces and just make it feel a smidge more mature than it looks right now.

I've realized my style and tastes have changed since I moved into my apartment and I'd like to have my home reflect that. We'll see what happens and of course, I'll keep you updated on any progress.

Let's dive into the roundup!
