Showing posts with label sales

I apologize for two sale posts in a row but it's that weird time of the year where there are a lot of sales happening at the same time. I usually only post Amazon Prime Day deals on my Instagram page but after making over 250 Amazon purchases in the past year (that's not just me -- but my sister and my mom too; still, it's a lot!) I feel like I have a stronger grasp on what Amazon products are worth it.

The thing that irritates me about Prime Day is that not all the deals are always up front. Amazon will jack up some of the prices before Prime Day to make the discount seem better, or the discount will not be as good as you'd expect it to be.

All of that being said, I still think some of the deals are good and are worth looking into!

The biggest shopping week of the year has arrived and it's also one of the most overwhelming times to be an avid online shopper. My email inbox and Instagram feed is filled to the brim with promotions, sales, and gifts with purchase from my favorite brands and retailers, as well as some brands I don't even like!

Sales started earlier than ever this year, some appearing during the first week of November to get ahead of the supply chain issues and to maximize earnings.

I've already been shopping up a storm and it's honestly not good. I have spent more money in the past few weeks than I have in a long time but my, this time of year always gets me! I also figured that instead of waiting until actual Black Friday to post my sale report, I would post now so you can start shopping!

Most retailers are calling out if this is their true Black Friday sale or if something better will come along in a few days but I think it's safe to say, we have officially transitioned to Cyber Week as the week before Thanksgiving vs just a few days of good deals.

Let's get into it, shall we? I'm only sharing the sales that I would shop for myself!

Memorial Day Weekend Sales to Shop

in , , by RoyallyPink, 4:10 PM

Memorial Day Weekend is one of the biggest sale times of the year, probably next to Black Friday. It can be really overwhelming to find the sales you want to shop, or to feel like you need to shop just because something is on sale. That definitely used to be me but in my old age, I've figured out to only buy the things I've been needing/looking at on big sale weekends.

That's why I'm only sharing the sales I've shopped (or am planning to shop) or if they're brands that I consistently shop from aka AEO and Charlotte Tilbury.

See links to shop the retailers below and links to what I've bought or recommend!

Sephora: 20% off select items. I highly recommend these products! A lot of Fresh Beauty is also on sale!

Jack Rogers: 30% off select sandals with code SUMMER. These are my must-haves.

American Eagle Outfitters: Use code SUMMER21 to take $15 off your purchase of $75+, $25 off your purchase of $100+ and $50 off your purchase of $150+, plus select shorts are 25% off.

Baublebar: 20% off SALE items with code SALE20. I highly recommend the Alidia Rings

Good American: 40% off sale items. I just bought my first pair of GOOD LEGS jeans and I don't know what took me so long. The best jeans EVER.

Charlotte Tilbury: 20% off beauty kits... I love the Hyaluronic Kiss lip balms

J.Crew Factory: 40-70% off the entire website. I just did an order and picked up all of this

Pacifica Beauty: 20% off the entire site. These are my favorite items from the brand

Have a great weekend everyone! Make sure to head to RoyallyPink.com on Monday for a giveaway!

The one good thing that has happened in quarantine? Lilly Pulitzer has been killing it with sales recently... and it's very unusual for the brand. They usually have two sales a year and they are dubbed the After Party Sales which come in August & January. Otherwise, the brand does not have sales or promos on their website.

Within the past few weeks, Lilly has had two major sales: a 30% off sale and then a tiered promo sale that is happening right now. You can get 30% off $100, 40% off $250 and 50% off $500.

As mentioned in my round-up post this week, I wanted to take it easy on shopping but when it comes to clothes, I bend my rules. I don't shop for clothes very often and especially now, with the warm weather coming I need more casual, loungewear clothes that aren't sweatshirts and thick leggings.

I figured this was too good of a deal to pass up and I needed to pick up some casual Lilly clothes. I have enough dresses and who knows if I'll even get to wear them this summer so I limited myself to no fancy wear.

Below is what I picked up from the sale:
Here are some items I think are worth looking at if you want to shop!
The sale ends on Monday so happy shopping!

It's the best day of the year! (I have a lot of best days so let's just go with it). Black Friday and Cyber Week are here again! If you want to get technical, Black Friday deals have been happening all week long but now the main event is happening.

I'm first to admit that the deals on Black Friday for your normal, everyday items aren't that great. Most places nowadays have deals all year round so it's not that special. However, that doesn't stop me from shopping!

Black Friday is also a really great time to buy electronics or household items like vacuums (I've seen so many deals on vacuums which is why it randomly is at the top of mind).

However, what I like Black Friday and Cyber Week for the most is to stock up on items (like my Zella Leggings which are on sale for 33% off) or to buy gifts. I'm planning on getting most of my Christmas shopping done on this one day so it's an exciting time.

For my BF posts, I never go into the deep webs of the internet to look for sales I'm not going to shop. I tell you straight up what my favorite deals are

Stoney Clover: 25% off + discount applied at checkout

Kate Spade: 40% off with code TGIBF

Kendra Scott: 25% off + 30% off orders $300+ (discount applied at checkout)

Evil Queen Candles: 20% off with code SHOPSMALL

Jack Rogers: 30% off the entire website with code BF2019

Besame Cosmetics: Sleeping Beauty BUNDLE (Sleeping Beauty book, mirror, base, tote bag, crown $126)

Anthropologie: 30% off entire website + discount applied at checkout

Nordstrom: Cyber Sale, 50% off select items

Ulta: Steals & Deals all weekend long

Evelyn Henson: 25% off with code SHOPSMALL25

May Designs: 40% off everything + applied at checkout

J.Crew: 50% off everything + 60% off sale styles

J.Crew Factory: 60% off everything

Tory Burch: 30% off $250 + 60% off sale items. Discount applied in checkout

Happy shopping!

Well, it's July and you know what that means... your favorite bloggers are flooding your feeds with Nordstrom Anniversary Sale posts. I usually don't focus a lot on the sale, just one post on the blog and a few on Instagram stories but for once I'm being a good blogger and looked up the sale beforehand.

I know a lot of people get really frustrated when bloggers constantly talk about this sale but it is one of the biggest sales of the year and Nordstrom is my all-time favorite retailer so I never mind that much. I pretty much exclusively shop at Nordstrom all year round so it's nice to get some awesome discounts during the sale.

The sale starts on Friday, July 12th online and in store for Nordstrom Card Holders and on July 19th for the public. The sale ends on August 4th and prices go up on August 5th.

If you have read this far and have no idea what I'm talking about let me explain. Once a year around this time Nordstrom holds a massive sale on NEW items (mostly for the Fall season) and have exclusive products that are only available during this time. The sale covers all categories so it's a great time to splurge on a staple or pick up something trendy and new.

One thing to mention, after looking through all the items I noticed that there is a TON of home, mens and children wear. I feel like it's more than ever before so something to definitely be aware of.

There is a lot more of Nordstrom brands on sale this year. I feel like the Nordstrom in house brands really take over this year and you don't get as much other non Nordstrom brands. I don't mind that because I love the Nordstrom in house brands but something to definitely be aware of.

This year I got a preview of everything that is going to be on sale and I have picked out some of my favorites to show you all!

Clothes

During the sale, I like to pick up at least one or two sweaters/shirts. I love the Nordstrom in house brands like Halogen, Leith, and Calson so when I can get them for a few dollars cheaper it's a score in my book!

Leith Rib Wrap Sweater  Halogen Faux Wrap Blouse Leith Longline Cardigan
Halogen Open Back Woven Top Calson Colorblock Sweater Gibson Twist Fleece
Madewell Ryder Cardigan

Activewear

My favorite leggings (and the only ones I wear) are the Zella Live In High Waisted Leggings and they are always on sale during the NSale. I try to buy at least one pair if not two! This year, I am also looking to pick up a new sports bra because I am seriously LACKING in this fashion department. Good thing there are tons of sports bras and other activewear items in the sale this year.

Spanx Leggings Zella Gen Tee
Zella Live In Bra Zella Viper Bra

Barefoot Dreams In The Wild Throw
Diptyque Fragrance Set
Diptyque Travel Set

Notes

  • This is the best blanket in the world and you need it. I have the brown/beige one and I honestly might buy a second
  • I always stock up on Diptyque candles during the sale. They're great to save for special occasions or to use as a last minute gift.
  • I picked up the candle & fragrance set last year and I've loved it! It's a great way to try the Diptyque perfumes and you still get the candles!
    • If you pick up candles online be careful because I have gotten melted candles in the mail (not diptyque but other brands!)

Accessories

Baublebar Allese Ring Nordstrom Precious Metal Stud Earrings Kendra Scott Lou Lou Earrings
Kurt Geiger Soho Shoulder Bag Tory Burch Everly Leather Tote
Tory Burch Mini Everly Crossbody *I purchased the Marsden Crossbody last year from the sale and this look CRAZY similar*

Beauty

Charlotte Tilbury Eyeshadow Palette Beautyblender All That Glitters
Too Faced Dive Into Hydration Set Supergoop Setting Powder
Anastasia Brow Duo

A Few Notes:

  • Usually, all the products in the beauty section are limited edition/exclusive to the sale. Most brands release new, exclusive products or shades of beloved favorites at a good value.
    • For example, the Charlotte Tilbury eyeshadow palette is exclusive to the sale. No word on if she will release it on her site/other retailers afterwards!
  • The new Hangover Good in Bed Serum is $39 and this set is only $42 for all three full-size products so you do the math!

Shoes

BP Perry Bootie
Calson Evelyn Genuine Calf Hair Mule

Intimates

Hanky Panky Seamless Thong Halogen Seamless Day Bra BP Cozy Joggers

Keep your eye on the blog and my Instagram account for more picks and updates as the sale goes on!

It's the most wonderful time of the year!!

Well, one of the most wonderful times of the year.

Ulta Beauty has its 21 Days of Beauty, starting yesterday, which is 21 days of beauty steals and deals. They have your favorite high end items for 50% off, a bunch of free gifts with purchase, and other great deals.

They do this huge sale twice a year, and the beauty of it is, is that they aren't putting clearance items on sale: they're the best of the best of some of our favorite brands, and it just gives Ulta customers the chance to buy them at a lower price.

Sephora is my favorite and go-to retailer for beauty because I am VIB Rogue and have free shipping; also, they have some brands that Ulta doesn't, and this may be the e-commerce nerd in me, but I much prefer Sephora's website.

This was all true, and still is, but Ulta is pulling me closer to their side because they just released the Ultimate Rewards credit card. That's right, a credit card FOR MAKE-UP PURCHASES. It's the best and most dangerous thing to ever happen to me.

Ulta also has more coupon codes and sales on their high end products, and you can redeem the points you earn for actual dollars off. By far, their points system is more efficient... I just wish they would clean up their website.

All the products I'm looking to pick up during the sale
Uh, Clarisonic heads are BOGO!

All this said, I'm really excited to shop 21 Days of Beauty. You can find the entire calendar of deals here, but they do have 'hot buys' that are included every single day. I already bought this Tarte Under Eye Concealer that's half off. Another recommendation I have is to scoop up the Laura Geller Iconic Baked Sculpting Lipsticks for only $15; they are incredibly pigmented, smooth, and comfortable. They're baked and have great skin loving ingredients.

Doesn't this all sound incredible... almost too good to be true? Well, it kind of is because each beauty steal *expect for the hot buys* only lasts 24 hours, so get the deal on it's given day or it's gone.

Happy shopping everyone!
So here it is. The day we wait all year for. The biggest shopping day/weekend of the entire year and my goodness, it is a shopaholic's dream!

I shop like crazy all year round but I love a good sale/deal so this is my Christmas.

I know I won't be buying a lot for myself but I will definitely be getting gifts for my family and friends. But let's be honest, I wouldn't be me if I didn't get myself at least ONE gift!

Here are the sales that I'll be shopping, mostly online because I don't want to face the crowds and there are sometimes better deals online than in store.

Ulta Beauty: Special deals & steals on certain items

American Eagle Outfitters: 40% off & free shipping!

Spring: 20% off entire site!

BaubleBar: 30% off with code THX

Birchbox: 25% off with code BIGDEAL

Sephora: They have their annual $10 deals which are a steal!!

Kate Spade: 25% off with code MERCI

Best Buy: Doorbuster (I'll be buying a new JawboneUp Fitness Tracker)

If I come across any other sales that I think are worthy, or that I shop, I will definitely up this post!

What sales are you looking forward too? And also, do you do more shopping this weekend in store or online? I'm very curious what other people's shopping habits are!

I never post about sales going on, especially during a holiday weekend. My bloglovin feed is always clogged with these types of posts, and they're always the same sales.

Well, today I feel like being a basic blogger betch and posting all about the sales that I think are worthy of hitting up -- and some that I will surely be taking advantage of.

I, for one, am so happy to see Labor Day arrive because that means summer is over! While it still may be warm out (it's going to hit 90 degrees in NYC this week), fall is truly here. Pumpkin spice, dark nail colors, and riding boots will soon be making their arrival and I need it like I need fall air to breathe.

What better way to celebrate the end of a season with some shopping and stocking up on fall favorites.

When you're doing all this online sale shopping, make sure to sign up for Ebates to get cash back on your purchases. They're also having a Labor Day special where you can earn double cash back on certain retailers!

Happy shopping :)

Cyber Monday is my Superbowl, it is my Christmas and is better than any day of the year. It's the perfect Monday.

It was extra sweeter this year since it fell the Monday after my birthday weekend so my bank account was filled and ready to go!

I did in fact go a little crazy because I had put myself on a such a strict spending limit over the last few months. Living on my own, paying bills and going grocery shopping along with trying to have a social life does not leave enough wiggle room for frivolous purchases.

I treated myself, though, and bought some lovely little goodies.

Lilly Pulitzer Tusk in the Sun Tumbler

What did you score on Black Friday/Cyber Monday? Let me know in the comments!

Today is Memorial Day in the good old USA which means that we are celebrating all those who have lived their life to protect our country. We remember those who have fallen and those who are serving us overseas and in our own backyard to protect our freedom and liberty. We shouldn't take this lightly and should always remember, that every day should be memorial day--we should always be thanking those who have risked their lives for us.

Memorial Day also comes with the start of summer and some of the best sales of the year!

The one sale I shopped was the American Eagle Outfitters sale. This is one of my favorite stores but I never go crazy because of the high prices. I did splurge a few months back and signed up for a credit card because in the long run, it would pay.

This incredible sale was 40% off and free shipping--ON EVERYTHING. I bought over $200 worth of stuff for less than $150. That is truly amazing and it was definitely worth the splurge that I will pay off over time.

Here are my purchases that I cannot wait to try on!

Aside from these lovelies, I bought a much needed pair of yoga pants and a bra from Aerie.

Happy Memorial Day!!
