Even though I recently lost 20+ pounds on Weight Watchers, my lifestyle is far from 'healthy'. I still don't eat too many fruits & vegetables and I haven't gotten on board with clean eating.

Despite all of that, one aspect of my life where I have found to be easy and seamless to go organic and clean is through feminine care products.

YUP, I'm talking about tampons.

Truth be told, I only started using tampons about 4 years ago because I was terrified. I had read too many articles in CosmoGirl when I was a tween/teen about Toxic Shock Syndrome and swore off tampons the moment I got my first period.

When I started using tampons, I used one specific type and didn't think much about using anything else. Then, this wellness craze took over the world and we all realized that what is in our tampons is probably not the safest for our bodies.

Once I read up on the importance of organic tampons I knew it was a switch I was willing to make.

*Even if you don't care about the bodily importance of an organic tampon, it's better for the earth and is just as useful as recycling your water bottle.

I mean, no one should be putting chlorine directly into their bodies once a month. That just doesn't sound safe or sanitary. All of the chemicals in our feminine care products are doing damage that we cannot see so it's hard to really imagine the dangers, but it's a change that you can make very easily. You aren't really changing anything about your lifestyle... just using a different brand.

I have to suggest Seventh Generation who has been making organic feminine care products for over 10 years. They were always a front-runner in making sure women knew exactly what was in the products they were putting into their body every month. They have nothing to hide because they're using good for you materials to make their products.

All the tampons are free of chlorine processing, fragrances, and deodorants which I can really appreciate because my skin is super sensitive. They're also hypoallergenic which is just an added bonus for everyone.

Seventh Generation's Organic Tampons have a smooth, BPA free plastic applicator so it'll feel like your regular tampon applicators; they're also made with 95% plant-based materials and no petroleum-based sources (which ew!) so they're safe for the planet as well.

You can find these tampons at your local Target, and they come in regular and super so you will not have a problem with any of that stuff.

Going organic with your feminine care products is better for you, and better for the earth!

Body scrubs are something I always want to use, but can never find one that fits the bill. I'm very particular about the consistency, scent, and after feeling of a scrub. There are body scrubs that I like that are actual body washes, like from St. Ives or Softsoap but sometimes I want a really good exfoliation.

I haven't found something that really checks everything off my list, until now...

Simply Scrub are organic body scrubs that come in a variety of different scents. Each scrub is 100% natural and contain different ingredients that will help your skin based on what kind of concern you have.

On their website, they have a niffy little tool where you could choose your skin trouble and it'll tell you which scrub to purchase.

For example, I clicked on eczema which I've talked about on the blog a bit, and they recommend the Rose scrub (one of which I have). I think that's so helpful because you can find exactly what you're looking for without guessing which scrub will help your skin.

The scrubs you can choose from are: Coffee, Chocolate, Rose, and Soursop. They come in different sizes: a small jar or a larger bag. You could even buy them in a giftpack which is perfect for the holiday season coming up.

When Simply Scrub reached out to me and I read all the information about them and their product, I jumped at the chance to try some out. Coffee scrubs are very common nowadays and you could find them pretty much in every store, including Sephora & Ulta, so I opted to try something different; chocolate and rose.

The chocolate scrub is good for acne, blackheads, and dark spots while the rose is good for eczema, exfoliating, and dead skin.

When I opened the scrub, I noticed that it wasn't soaking wet. Usually scrubs I've tried in the past, that are in jars like the Simply Scrub, are soaked in their ingredient while scrubs that I've tried that are in bags, are dry as bone. This was somewhere in the middle which I love because it made it slightly less messy, less slimy, and was easier to apply to my skin.

Both scrubs are very grainy but in the best way possible -- it didn't hurt as I exfoliated and honestly felt so good on my skin.

I don't use these everyday as I don't want to exfoliate everyday, and if I'm being honest, I'm a little lazy so I haven't noticed a difference in my skin but I do know that after using these scrubs, my skin is baby soft and smooth.

One major difference I did notice immediately after using the chocolate scrub was that the dead skin on my elbows was completely gone. I didn't even work it that hard into my elbows but it worked like a dream.

Even though all my beauty products aren't natural and it's not something that I generally gravitate toward, I like the fact that these are natural because I can scrub better knowing that my skin won't be irritated by them.

If you're on the market for a new scrub, I highly recommend checking out Simply Scrub. Natural, organic, good results, and a great price tag -- it doesn't get much better than that!

This post is sponsored by InstaNatural and Brandbacker. All opinions and thoughts are my own.

A few months ago, I received some products from InstaNatural and have been testing them out since then. I have a lot of hair and skincare products so I'm always alternating between them, hence the reason this review is super late.

Also, because my skin was acting up, I had to stop using one of the serums I received, just to see if it was irritating my skin (it wasn't)

InstaNatural is an all organic skincare brand that has everything from mud masks to face serums to essential oils. I've been obsessed with skincare lately so I thought it'd be cool to try out some organic, natural products. I am always a little weary of trying brands I've never used but so far so good.

The products I received were an Argan Oil Hair Mask, Argan Oil, and a Vitamin C Serum.

I've heard so many incredible things about what Argan Oil does for your hair and skin so I knew I wanted to try it. I had a small sample bottle of Argan Oil from a Birchbox and I used it to nourish my cuticles so I was really excited to have a huge bottle to use for different things.

I've been using the Argan Oil from InstaNatural really only on my cuticles because I forget to use it for other things (#bloggerfail) and it does an incredible job. I will say that my mom has been using this religiously and has gone through half the bottle. She's obsessed and uses it for everything. She uses it to shave her legs and slathers it on as an in shower moisturizer. It really is an all in one product.

The Vitamin C Serum I have been using sparingly. This is supposed to brighten your skin, even out your skin tone, and fight the signs of aging. It's combined with other oils such as Argan, Rosehip, Sea Buckthorn, and many more. It's very light in texture and melts into your skin. I use this every so often (mostly because I'm afraid of adding anything else into my skincare routine) but I never notice an irritation. I do however, notice that my skin does look more even and bright after a few days of using this. A Vitamin C serum is a definite A+ in my book and should be incorporated as best as possible.

Now for the Argan Oil Hair Mask... this I was not too pleased with (my mother is though). It made my hair feel goopy, dry, and brittle. It didn't leave my hair soft and honestly made my hair feel dirty. I used it once and that's it but my mom started using it and loves it. She says it makes her hair easier to brush and a lot softer. That goes to show you that different products affect everyone differently.

Conclusion... InstaNatural has some amazing products and I think I'll be trying out some more soon. All organic products are really great and oils do wonders for your skin!
