Dr. Barbara Sturm is a brand that is intriguing to me. She's a doctor who has a lot of experience with skin and skincare, so she's someone you would trust to buy beauty products from. I never thought about pulling the trigger on one of her products until I saw the Ski Cream pop up on the new arrivals page a few months ago. Maybe it was the packaging, maybe it was the name, but something about this product really drew me in.

I never thought I would purchase it because it well, it's expensive; it's $115 which is insane but sadly, it's one of the cheaper items in her line. However, I just couldn't stop thinking about it and every time I saw it, I would add it to my cart and then never press 'purchase'. One day, my wallet got the best of me and with the lovely website, Klarna (where you can split your payments into 4), I purchased it.

It is the most money I have ever spent on one singular beauty product that wasn't a hair tool. I was dreaming of being on the ski slopes while wearing Ski Cream but no such luck... after a few uses I knew this product was not for me. Back to Sephora, it has gone but I wanted to do a review before I shipped it back, in case anyone else has been eyeing it and wants to see what $115 worth of moisturizer is.

I go over everything in the video but this product was just not it. Unless you live in a freezing cold climate or do go skiing a lot, you won't be able to use this. For once, a product name and description was not a marketing ploy... this is actually a ski cream!

Hi there! This is the first time in a very long time that I've gone 3 consecutive days without posting a blog. Usually when I know my schedule is going to get messed up I'll throw up a Tuesday Inspiration or Wishlist Wednesday or something random... like I'm doing now, but I just couldn't this week.

Over the weekend I spent a lot of time with my friends; headed up to Westchester for a dinner with my sorority sisters, then went to a housewarming party for my friends on Saturday and Sunday was brunch in Manhattan with my high school friends.

I was on the go a lot this weekend and by the time Monday came, I was exhausted. Yesterday (today as I'm writing this) I was off from work to help my sister move into her college house and it was very tiring. There was a lot of moving boxes and furniture and putting cubby shelves together, so I have no brain power to write a real post.

I just took a mini week off to rest and recharge and not worry about getting a blog post up. I am all about self-care and doing what you need to do to feel good so I try not to get down on myself about missing three days of posts. Next week I'll get back on track.

In the meantime, I wanted to jump on here and show you some new goodies. I posted a video last week about my Nordstrom Anniversary Sale haul and some Ulta/Sephora goodies I bought so you can check that out below.

My sister took my dresser for her new room so I took the bar cart that was in her room (a bar cart that we've had since I was little) and did a little rearranging.

I moved my handbag display into the corner where my dresser was and put the bar cart under my gallery wall. I also purchased Kate Spade Nesting Boxes to store some junk in a nice way.

I also (with the help of my mom) moved my rug from the foot of my bed to between my desk and bed which I love so much more.

Add a new door (my old one broke off the hinges) and I feel like I've got a whole new room!

A few weeks ago I bought a Rebecca Minkoff bag off of Tradesy and when it came, I was NOT feeling it. It was a little too big and just didn't feel like me. On Tradesy, you can only return items for a store credit so with half of my credit, I bought another Louis Vuitton PM Agenda.

I've been loving the Damier Ebene print and wanted something in this canvas. I would love to start a huge Louis Vuitton agenda collection because I am totally obsessed with these little loves.

I know I didn't need one as another agenda or notebook, but I do kind of want to use it as a wallet. I watched a few Youtube videos and bought some inserts off of Etsy so I'm going to create my own little makeshift wallet.

Once I have it all set up and I see how I like it, I'll do a post on it. I'm really excited for it!

That's all for now and next week we'll go back to regular programming and a few great reviews! Tomorrow, is Weekly Wrap Up!

Hello Friday! I'm feeling so much better than I was a few days ago; my cold medicine worked (Alka Seltzer Cold & Flu Nighttime) but it has me feeling very groggy so I apologize if this post is all over the place.

It was a very long/short week and it's throwing me off. I have a love/hate relationship with 4 day work weeks because it crams everything together and is just slightly more stressful, but it's worth it for a long weekend.

I have a decent weekend planned; tomorrow is my cousin's graduation and Sunday I'll probably run to the mall to pick up a few new things (even though I'm not supposed to be shopping)

I just posted a new Youtube video about my recent J.Crew purchases and how I got dupped by a fake Celine bag!

I don't have much else to ramble on about so here's everything I loved this week:

Here's what you missed on Royally Pink:
Have a great weekend!

Hello! It's been a hot second this week but boy oh boy was it a week. I don't remember the last time I was this busy. Let me give you a run down of my week:

Monday- Sister's 21st birthday so we went out for dinner after work. I came home afterwards and was so full and exhausted I passed out.

Tuesday: Super busy day at work and then I attended an after work event/panel about influencers and I didn't get home until 9 PM... once again, passed out.

Wednesday: Went food shopping with my mom after work and then got SO MANY packages so I had to go through them; cleaned my room and packed all the boxes up. Passed out by 10 PM

Thursday: I'm currently writing this but it was a super emotional day (personal reason) and I had a dentist appointment after work. I just uploaded my 2nd Youtube video *which you'll see down below* and am working on my 2nd v-log which will be up over the weekend.

Phew! There ya go, a long, laundry list of excuses of why you got 2 posts this week.

I just wasn't in the right frame of mind to sit down and write, and I couldn't really focus on anything this week. I feel like I could blame it on a few things, like PMS or the fact that I was so busy, and I realized that I hadn't looked in my planner too much. Hopefully next week will be better!

I head to Florida in less than 2 weeks for work and I'm sure I'l have so much fun video content for you! I've really been feeling my Youtube channel and I know I have to figure out a nice balance of what will be video content and what will be blog content; I'll cross that bridge when I come to it though!

For now, let's dive into my current video; a review of the Kate Spade Leewood Place Rainn Leather Tote, my new favorite work bag.

I talk in depth about it in the video but I wanted to come here and just talk some more! When I saw this on Nordstrom.com I didn't even think twice about purchasing it. It's very soft leather, a great shape, and I love the scallop detail. Scallops are a critical part of Kate Spade's design and I've never owned anything scallop so I thought this was a great little piece.

Aside from my Tory Burch Perry Leather Tote I didn't have a black tote so that's why I got it in black. It's currently available in a pale pink, beige, and mint and I'm feeling all of them.

My favorite thing about this bag is how light weight the bag is, and how much you can really fit inside. It's very deceiving from the outside so don't be fooled. It's also a very structured bag but is able to move with your contents. There are some structured bags that are so tough it's not flexible enough to be comfortable; this bag is totally not like that. This is probably in my top 5 favorite bags at the moment!

Below are some more Kate Spade bags I have my eye on (and a few versions of the Leewood Place)

I hope you all enjoyed the video & the review!
