This was an intense week and I'm so happy it's the weekend! The week was a good one but very busy and tiring; I think the full moon and Mercury Retrograde is kicking everyone's butt.
The MET Gala was on Monday and it's definitely my favorite day of the year in terms of pop culture. It brings me so much joy because so many of my interests intersect and this year was extra special because I was covering it on social media for my day job. If you didn't know, I'm the Global Social Media Manager at Estee Lauder and a few our of ambassadors were at the MET so we were coordinating with tons of people to get beautiful content to post on our channels.
Ever since I was in college I dreamed of covering the MET Gala, either for a social media position or as a journalist and the fact that my dream finally came true this week is really enlightening and it made me so giddy.
I felt like it was a really good week but now I'm exhausted and looking forward to a low-key, relaxing weekend at home where I can read, relax and just be.
Pink Positivity of the Week
The MET Gala was definitely a positive as well as the Vanderpump Rules content we've been getting. It's been two months since Scandoval and Bravo will not let us rest. The episodes are getting better and better, the social media chatter has not died down and the finale is just two weeks away. I love Bravo!
