When it comes to makeup, I've never been a full coverage kind of gal. My skin is not that bad and it's pretty dry so I lean toward more medium coverage, radiant foundations. However, during the summer, I usually don't wear any foundation at all.

It melts off my face as soon as I step outside and continues to annoy me as I sit on the hot subway. During the hot months (or even when I'm running super late) I tend to stick to light coverage 'foundations' and tinted moisturizers.

The thing I love about tinted moisturizers is that they can be applied quickly and easily. There is no need for a brush or sponge, using your hands is just fine.

They also provide just the right amount of coverage without feeling heavy or tacky on the skin. I also think there is enough of a range amongst the beauty community that you can find a tinted moisturizer that fits your skin tone and type.

This summer tinted moisturizer was the only thing I wore with the exception of a few days where I went full foundation (or sans foundation completely)

These were my must-have tinted moisturizers of the summer *and pretty much of all time up until this point*

1. Laura Geller Quench-n-Tint: If you haven't figured out by now, I work for Laura Geller (I don't know if I've ever posted that on here but it's public knowledge). When I found out that we were releasing this product, I could hardly contain my excitement. This is for sure one of my favorite products we've ever released. It's a very, very light weight, almost sheer, but really evens out and hydrates the skin. You have to feel this to believe it (go to Ulta now and try it) but when applied, there is a release of hydration and it feels like you're splashing water on your face, and it's amazing. It was my most worn product of the summer for sure.

2. NARS Tinted Moisturzer: I don't know if I would classify this as a tinted moisturizer but I figured I'd mention it anyway.  I have talked about this before in my May favorites and it's stood the test of time. It's a fuller coverage tinted moisturizer but doesn't feel like an actual foundation. It's the only complexion product I've tried from NARS and it's definitely a favorite and must try!

3. Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue: This was a purchase from last summer and it's still a favorite right now. It has SPF in it which is ideal for summer (and all year round really) and is a cross between the NARS and Laura Geller. It has good coverage but feels incredibly light weight on the skin. This can 100% be applied with your hands but if you want a little more coverage, you can build it up with a sponge or brush. This was one of the first tinted moisturizers I really took a liking too and it remains one of my favorites.

What is your favorite tinted moisturizer?

Another beauty post coming at ya! On Monday I posted mini reviews of some of my recent beauty buys and now I want to talk about the products I'm lusting after.

I spend at least an hour day looking at Sephora and Ulta's website, putting items in my cart and favorites list. I spend the majority of my days watching beauty videos on Youtube and keep a running list of all the products they mention that look cool.

Guys, you have no idea how serious this obsession with makeup is.

I have so many products I really want to try and ones that I'm literally on the verge of buying. These are those products!

//Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush: I'm torn between Natural Beauty and Exposed but these blushes are the next thing I'm buying! I've been searching for the perfect blush and I've found some good drugstore ones but these Tarte blushes are supposed to last for 12 hours and they just look so pretty!

//Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette: This is one of the most talked about products in the beauty world. These powders can be used as highlighters or setting powders and they give you a lit from within glow. It's a pretty price tag but I think the hype is most likely worth it so this will be my next real splurge item!

//BareMinerals Complexion Rescue Tinted Moisturizer: I'm a huge lover of BB/CC creams and tinted moisturizers. They're perfect for my no makeup makeup days and Bare Minerals is quickly becoming one of my favorite brands. Bloggers everywhere have been raving about this product and I'm really curious to see what it's like.

//Benefit Cosmetics Puff Off: This is a relatively new product to Benefit and I need it in my life. It's a hydrating eye gel in rollerball form that smoothes the under eye area and reduces the appearance of puffiness. The packaging is adorable and I'm a sucker for any under eye product, seriously.

//NYX Highlight & Contour Palette: I've been obsessed with contouring lately and searching for the perfect palette (and price) to purchase. When I heard NYX, an awesome drugstore brand, was coming out with a contour palette for $25, I knew I had to have it. I'm waiting for the right time to splurge on this (even if it is a drugstore brand) and I cannot wait.

There are so many other items on my (many) wish lists but these are the ones I want most and can see myself purchasing soon!

I am so sad to see November go. Just like October, November is one of my favorite months. It definitely wasn't an easy month, as I've previously said. For some reason, I couldn't get a grip on my mood but I must say, within the past week or so, I've felt a lot better.

It really is such a pain to not feel like yourself, to wake up every day and just not be in a good mood—for no reason. I'm always thankful for the days when I do feel good and can see all the happiness in my life.

Anyways....November was meh but still one of my favorite months thanks to Thanksgiving and my birthday. My birthday was on November 30th and it was just meh. I spent the day hungover and at home, alone, but nonetheless, my birthday "week" was fun with friends and family.

I'm sad to see November go but happy to welcome December. I hope this month goes slow because I just love the Christmas season and I want it to last forever!

Let me stop rambling and dive into my favorite things about November.

Candles: This is a weird favorite but I'm seriously obsessed. Right now I have about six candles lit in my house. If I'm home, a candle is lit. My mom bought me holiday scented candles for my birthday and I was overly excited about them. I can't wait to go to Bath and Body Works and TJ Maxx this weekend and get some more.

Vaseline Rose Lip Therapy: My skin has been taking a beating this month. I usually suffer from dry skin but this is just excessive. My hands, eyes, lips...everything is just so dry. I've been experimenting with different products and I finally got my hands on the Vaseline Rosy Lips. I never use Vaseline because the consistency just isn't my favorite but this is pretty great. I wear it at night or at a home sans makeup and it gives my lips a great rosy tint and keeps them moisturized.

Maybelline Dream Fresh BB Cream: I've had this product for a while but never used it that much. I associate BB Creams with the summer time and I was too tan to use this shade during the summer months so it's kind of just been sitting on my desk, unused. This month, I wanted to try to give my skin a break from foundation because I've been breaking out a lot so to still have some coverage on my face. In comes this gem and I'm obsessed. I apply it with my beauty blender, set it with my other new favorites Maybelline FIT Me Powder or  Bare Minerals Original Foundation and it gives me the perfect flawless, simple skin finish.

Maybelline Creamy Matte in Daringly Nude: I mentioned "Touch of Spice" a few months back and treated myself to another Creamy Matte shade. I've been meaning to get my hands on a simple nude shade that is perfect for everyday wear and I think I found it. I have to make sure my lips are super moisturized before application but it's such a simple, lovely shade, I haven't worn much else this month.

Printables: This is another weird, random favorite but I've been obsessed with those free printables you find on Pinterest or that blogs offer. I've printed out so many I feel like I need a binder to keep them altogether. From holiday lists to blog planners to bill planners, I've printed out so many. Here is one of my favorite places to get printables.

iPhone 6: I got my new iPhone 6 at the end of October and I've been obsessed. I was worried that it was going to be too big and I wouldn't like it but I was so wrong. It's so light, the screen is the perfect size, and it runs so fast. I'm in love and I wonder why I didn't want it in the first place.

Honorable Mention(s): Christmas trees, Christmas movies, Black Friday/Cyber Monday, Michael Buble Christmas album and EVERYTHING CHRISTMAS!

Unfavorite: STUDENT LOANS. I got my first student loan notice this month and oh, it's not pretty. #postgradproblems

Cheers to a better December and Christmas spirit for the next 24 days!

What did you LOVE in November?
