I am a bauble addict. Baublebar is my drug of choice but honestly, any statement necklace will satisfy my craving.

I have too much jewelry for someone who doesn't go out that often but I'll be damned if I leave the house to go to Starbucks and don't have a watch or ring on.

My love of jewelry is something that is not new, I've always been a fan but more recently, as I've started to really come into my own, I've started to experiment more.

As much as I love jewelry, I love subscription boxes even more. When you combine those two loves, you get Rocksbox.

I've been seeing this service all over the blogosphere (as I'm sure you have too) and I was always very intrigued by it. I didn't want to take the plunge just yet because honestly, I can't afford $20 a month of jewelry I can't keep.

However, my curiosity got the best of me and I signed up for a free box after seeing Katey's of Chronicles of Frivolity review (The blog is my everything FYI). I used her special code after taking the detailed quiz and my box was on it's way!

If you don't know, Rocksbox is a subscription service that sends you 3 pieces of high end jewelry a month, based off of a quiz you take before you sign up. It's $20 a month and you get to keep the jewelry for that amount of time.

At the end of the month, you can send the pieces back or buy them for a discounted price. The next month, you get a brand new box with new pieces and so on and so forth.

After you take the quiz, you are presented with a few different options that you can add to your wishlist. This helps your stylist(the person who puts your box together) find the perfect fit for your box.

I was really excited to see what was sent to me and so pleasantly surprised and awestruck when I opened the box. The pieces were gorgeous! And the way the box is packaged is so cute, definitely a nice touch. I appreciate good packaging in all aspects so its always an added bonus.

I received a delicate bracelet, a pair of stud earrings, and one of the most gorgeous statement necklaces I've ever seen.

The statement necklace was from Perry Street and it was the Jane necklace; as you can see it was gorgeous, blue flowers. I wore this to work one day with a plain black sweater and black jeans and it really just pulled together the whole look. I really considered buying this but I may find something similar with a smaller price tag.

I don't wear earrings too often so I thought this would be a good way to force myself too but eh, no such luck. The earrings were gorgeous, delicate gold studs by Gorjana. They were called the Pristine Circle Stud Earrings and they were really nice, just not on me. I don't know what it is but I hate the way my ears look when I wear earrings.

The cuff is something I wore almost everyday and I know I will be buying something similar to this soon. It was the Pave and Pearl Cuff from Jules Smith and it was stunning. A simple, thin cuff was so comfortable to wear daily, and it dressed up even the bummest of outfits. I was obsessed with this piece.

Altogether, I was so happy with the jewelry in my box and was so sad when I had to send it back.

Ultimately, as much as I loved the pieces, I cancelled my subscription. It's not worth it to me at the moment to spend $20 a month on jewelry that I can't keep. The idea is awesome and maybe in the future, when I have the extra money this will be something I really consider.
