How in God's name is it April already? March feels like it started off slow but then picked up as soon as the 2nd week hit. Like March 1st feels so long ago but March 11th feels like it was yesterday. Time just moves so fast as I get older and it's very scary.

This month was an off one for me; I had a lot of great days but a lot of bad days too, and I'm working on accepting both of them. I'm working on reminding myself that just because I have a bad day, it doesn't mean I can't have a good day. Progress is still progress.

Also during March, I feel like I went through a little bit of an identity crisis. I feel like I have so many interests and I don't know where to put all that energy. I've had this blog for almost 12 years, and I think over the years it's gotten more beauty, book, and fashion focused vs personal, career, lifestyle. Because of that, I feel like my creative writing, in terms of personal/think piece format doesn't have a place to go. I started a Substack last year that was centered on pop culture, because that's also a really big interest of mine but how do I combine everything?

I don't want to lose my blog but I want a place that I can write different things... so I merged my substack to be almost like a second blog. For now, it's spilt up between pop culture and 'thoughts & personal essays' which will be where I share more long winded, personal feelings and thoughts about things happening both in society, and inside my brain. Please go support my writing over there!

Now, let's dive into my favorite products from March!

iPad Air 5th Generation

Over the past few months I've been dying for a new iPad and I have no clue why. Sometimes I get things in my head and cannot get them out until I buy it. Knowing that Apple is probably getting ready to release the next iteration of iPads, some of the older models went on sale. I traded in my iPad mini and bought the iPad Air 5th Generation on sale, so I saved over $400 which in girl math, is actually making money. I've been obsessed with it for the past few weeks and can't stop using it. I bought the Magic Keyboard, and love using it when I'm not into my laptop. I know that it's going to be a go-to for me when I travel, and I just feel so chic when I use it.

Advanced Night Repair Rescue Solution

My skin has been acting out a lot lately and I've had some trouble figuring out what works and what doesn't. I've also been using the PMD Microdermabrasion tool, which can irritate my skin a bit and I needed something soothing to use afterwards. The Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Rescue Solution has the same key ingredient as my favorite Advanced Night Repair Serum but with a bunch of soothing ingredients to calm and soothe sensitive, irritated skin. If you suffer from redness, irritation and get a lot of beauty treatments, this is a must-have in your beauty collection.

Tapered Candles & Candlesticks

This is a very random favorite but I had to mention it, because it completely changed the vibe of my home and I'm obsessed. My co-worker bought me tapered candles for our office secret cupid during Valentine's Day and I loved them, but needed candlesticks. To Amazon I went! The candles and gold candlesticks give my home the vintage glam aesthetic I've been searching for! The pink and purple ombre adds a touch of modernity but the feeling gives cozy vintage. It's perfect!

Ergonomic Desk Chair

This is a long overdue favorite but it must be mentioned. As ugly as ergonomic desk chairs can be, they are really necessary. My beautiful velvet, pink desk chair wasn't cutting it anymore and the back pain was just too much. I bought this big, beige comfortable desk chair back in December and it has been life changing. I still have back pain but it's not coming from the chair! It's super plush, adjustable, and was really easy to put together. If you're a remote worker and sit at a desk all day, you need to invest in a good ergonomic desk chair.
