What a week! I successfully survived my stitches on Tuesday and stayed calm the entire time. I was so happy that it was over and that it happened without any meltdowns. I didn't have an anxiety or panic attack and didn't even shed a tear!

While the procedure was happening, which took less than 10 minutes, I listened to Andy Cohen's new book (which I'm obsessed with and almost finished) which was the perfect distraction. The doctor was very gentle and I didn't feel a thing which was all I really wanted.

The rest of the week was spent at home, not putting too much pressure on my leg and trying to get through a hectic work week. I'm relaxing at home today and going to pamper myself a bit and then tomorrow is Mother's Day brunch with my mom and her friends.

Let's get into the roundup!

Pink Positivity of the Week

The highlight was definitely the fact that I kept my cool with the stitches. It sounds so corny but I'm really proud of myself for staying calm and didn't really let it get in my head. I was able to talk myself through the fact that it wasn't a big deal, it's a routine procedure for these doctors and as long as I advocate for myself and the pain management I need, then everything would be ok... and it was.
