This was an incredibly long month and I'm so happy for that. The year has been going too fast and I'm ready for it to slow down, or just go at a normal pace.
April also brought some great weather, which is so annoying because as your resident fall & winter lover, it's sad to know that my seasonal depression is real and I do feel better when the sun is out. I also had some fun moments through the month; lots of birthdays, a wedding in Rhode Island, Easter... everything felt good and I'm happy about it.
May is going to be a fun month too! More friend activities, going to see Tinx for her book signing in New York, and I'm crossing my fingers that I'm able to go to the Eras Tour at the end of the month. Send me all your good vibes!
I've also had such a good week so far, I feel rested and clear headed. It just feels good and I'm really pleased with my positive mood.
Enough rambling, let's dive right into my favorites of the month.
Saint Laurent Sac De Jour
I need to do a handbag review on a few of my last handbag purchases, including this one. I purchased a Saint Laurent Small Sac De Jour in the middle of March and have been obsessed with it all month long. It's a wishlist bag purchase, I've fawned over it for years and to finally have one and in such a beautiful mauve pink shade is truly a dream. L'ange Scalp Massager
This is incredibly random but I have been loving this little tool. For a while I've wanted a scalp massager to use when washing my hair but I couldn't find one that I loved. Finally, this L'ange one came across my Amazon page and I immediately bought it. L'ange is a great haircare brand that I want to try more of, it's pink, had a great little handle and is silicone so it would be easy to use. Well, I've been using it every time I was my hair and I definitely notice a difference. My scalp is not as itchy, my hair feels cleaner and it's a nice little pamper session with every shower.
Estee Lauder Double Wear Sheer Foundation
I finally tried the Double Wear Sheer Foundation this month and it's a new favorite. Double Wear by Estee Lauder is a cult classic foundation that everyone loves, including me, but I knew I wanted to try the sheer version as well. It's lighter, a touch more radiant and perfect for everyday wear. When I applied it to my face, I saw angels. It goes on incredibly smoothly, makes me look poreless, plays well with other products and can be easily applied with fingers, brushes or sponges. It's the perfect daily wear, a step above your regular tinted moisturizer.
Jo Malone Moonlit Chamomile Pillow Spray
I know that I mentioned this in my January favorites but I need to mention it again. I cannot sleep without the Jo Malone Moonlit Chamomile spray; it is the most relaxing, peaceful inducing and lovely scent. I want my entire life to smell like this Jo Malone fragrance. It really sets the mood for unwinding and I feel like Pavlov's dog whenever I spray it onto my bedding. There is a musky undertone to the fragrance with notes of moonflower and a wave of chamomile. It's so hard to explain but it is so good.
