This is a sponsored post but all opinions are my own
I'm always up for trying new beauty products, especially when it's something completely different than I've ever tried.
That's why when I had the chance to try a CC Cream by Studio Gear Cosmetics, I jumped at the chance.
I love BB Creams because in one simple step, you have full coverage without the multiple steps of foundation, concealer, bronzer, and blush. I've heard of CC Creams before and seen them in the drugstores and in Sephora but never picked one up.
For your beauty newbies, BB Cream stands for Beauty Balm and CC Cream stands for Color Corrector. I'm always really concerned about my skin being discolored because the circles under my eyes are always really terrible. Therefore, I was super excited to try out this product.
At first glance, this cream doesn't look as if it would blend well or even match your skin tone. It comes out in a strange white color and smells kind of funky. I was utterly confused, until I blended it into my skin.
(Side Note: I didn't apply this on my face at the time of writing this blog post because it's 8:30pm and I have a full face of make-up on and a chapter meeting to go too)
You need to blend in this product, a lot. I used my hands which is fine because I don't like using tools for liquid face products but it took a little while to match my natural skin tone.
Once it was blended, it felt very light. I didn't feel like I had make-up on (even if it was just my hand) and it did have good coverage and matched my skin really well.
I didn't see much "benefit" of the CC Cream only because I didn't test it out on my face but I'm kind of obsessed, only because it worked really well.
These types of products are really great for the warmer, spring and summer months because it gives you full coverage and will last longer than powder products. Also, these all in one liquid products are easy and quick to put on. I love using BB Cream when I don't have time to get ready in the morning because it still gives the effect that I took the time to do my make-up.
I'm really glad I received this CC Cream from Studio Gear Cosmetics because it's going to get thrown right into my beauty routine.
