Happy December everyone! I'm sad to see November go but over the weekend I FINALLY turned 21! My birthday was wonderful but I'll do another post on that later.
Right now, I'm talking about my most excited, desired manicure Monday!
I have been lusting over this polish for months and months since it was released but my local drug store at school has not stocked up on the most recent Essie collections #bummer. When I went home for Thanksgiving, I searched for this polish and the CVS in my neighborhood had it!
After School Boy Blazer is probably one of the most blogged about nail colors in a while. Everywhere I looked, someone was talking about it. I needed to get my hands on it and when I finally did, I was not surprised at how I felt.
This polish is one of the best Essie formulas ever. I immediately noticed a difference between it and other Essie polishes. This is the only polish I've tried out of the newer collections so I don't know if it's like that across the board (if you have used other new Essie colors, let me know in the comments!).
I really only needed one coat but I'm obsessive and a creature of habit so I applied two coats which made the polish look black but it's still amazing.
The formula is super smooth, the brush seems a tad bit different but that may be how the polish is.
The navy blue color is beautiful, super great for the cold weather. I hate repeating nail polishes but After School Boy Blazer is going to be on my nails for as long as possible.
