YUP, I fainted at the doctors' after getting blood work done. I didn't faint because I was afraid of the needle but, because my blood sugar and blood pressure dropped. My face turned white and my body went numb; I needed glucose and oxygen and it was hands down one of the scariest moments I've ever experienced.
After getting some glucose in me, I felt so much better. I drank some water, had a granola bar, and laid down with a cold compress and the oxygen tank.
It was really scary and I'm resting up on my couch now, after drinking some water and eating some Burger King Chicken Fries.
So, I guess you could say old age is not treating me well!
I did have a great birthday and if I must say, I feel a little different. I made a vow to myself that I was going to try and be different this year, be better and make the changes I've wanted to make. Maybe it's that vow that is making me feel different but I'm happy about it.
Tomorrow I'll be heading to bottomless brunch with my friends and I cannot wait to eat & drink & be merry!
Speaking of being merry, happy December 1st! Next week starts my holiday content and I cannot wait!
