I'm once again linking up with Neely and Ashley for Sunday Social :)
1. What do you miss most about being a kid?
I think I miss the carefreeness of childhood. There were no problems, I had not a care
in the world. My parents were still together, my grandpa was alive, it was a
simpler time where the worries of the world were not my problem.
2. Did you have a nickname growing up?
I had a few; the usual shortening of my name like Bri or Bri-Bri which
are still used today but my dad had an unusual name for me. When I was
around eight or nine years old, my dad started calling me Martha
because he said that one morning I came out of my bedroom
in a long bath robe and my hair was a mess and I looked
like an old lady named Martha. Weird but cute.
3. What was your favorite thing to do at recess?
At my elementary school, our recess always consisted of us just standing
around because we weren't allowed to run around or play tag. We didn't have
a playground, we just would stand in the gym or parking lot. It was boring
so I guess my favorite part was seeing my friends that were in different grades
or different homeroom classes that I didn't seen during the day.
4. What did you want to be when you grew up?
My wants varied anywhere from a teacher to an actress to a psychiatrist.
I changed my dream profession once a day back then.
5. What was your favorite toy?
BARBIES! Without a doubt, I was a girly girl and I loved my
Barbie Dolls. They were my everything. I also ADORED
my American Girl doll, Molly. I took her everywhere, I treated
her like my child. I was even upset when her arm "broke" and I
had to send her to the American Girl hospital.
6. What is the funniest thing you did as a kid that your parents still remind you about?
Remember when you would log onto AOL and they would have
advertisements to purchase cameras and other stuff like that?
Well, when I went onto my parents AOL account, I saw that
ad. and I didn't know what it was so I clicked it and ordered
a camera and something else(which I don't remember) and it got shipped
to my house. No one lets me live that down!
I was online shopping before I could even realize what I was doing.
