It's been three days of 2014 and I'm already loving it. I mean, I haven't done much besides watch Scandal on Netflix but hey, that's a good start!

I've been thinking about the things I want to accomplish in 2014 and it's quite a hefty list. 2014 is going to be a huge year for me and I don't feel anywhere near ready to face it head on. Between graduating, the job search and just plain adjusting to post grad life...it's going to be a huge transition year for me.

There are so many things I want to accomplish, professionally and personally...and for this blog. There's no time to waste!

Here are my resolutions for the upcoming year... I have 362 days get it right!

Create a budget: I am not the most frugal person when it comes to my spendings. I spend way too much money on online shopping, purchasing things I don't need. When I go out on the weekends, my bank account cries and begs me to stop spending money I don't have. With post grad life upon me and student loan payments getting ready to attack me, I really need to come up with some sort of budget plan.

Score a dream job: I'd be lying to you if I said that applying for real world jobs doesn't scare the crap out of me. I used to think I knew what I wanted to do with my life but right now, I don't really know what I want out of my life. I do know that I need to do something that I love, I can't be in a job that I dread going to everyday. In 2014, I want to get my first adult job in the world of Journalism.

Successfully make the post college transition: I am so scared of May 17th. I am terrified of May 17th. May 17th is when I'm going to graduate college and officially enter the real world. College has cradled and coddled me for the past four years and the thought of leaving Iona is sad and scary. In 2014, I hope to make the post grad transition as easy as possible.

Become more organized: I usually am the most organized person on the planet but for the second half of 2013 I was very scattered brain. I couldn't get a grip and couldn't stay on top of everything. My realistic, concrete goal for 2014 is to become more focused and be more organized in every aspect of life: school, the blog and my job search.

Live healthier: This is a resolution that shows up on everyone's list but I'm really going to try to stick to it this year, especially since I'll be on a plane to Punta Cana for Spring Break in 70 days.

These aren't many goals but they are things that I want to stick too. I'm sure I'll think of some more things later in the year.

Aside from resolutions, there are things that I'm looking forward too in 2014:

Punta Cana: Spring break plans with my sorority sisters and a few of my guy friends is going to be wonderful. I haven't been on vacation in a number of years and planning an epic trip with my friends is perfect!

"Lasts": It hasn't felt like I'm a senior because I haven't had any senior moments, expect for my last homecoming but I know in the spring semester, I will experience so many lasts. As sad as it is, I'm looking forward to them.

Real World: It's going to be a tough transition, a tough adjustment but it's going to be an exciting one.

2014 is the next chapter in my life, a whole new and fresh start. It's going to be exciting, scary, thrilling and insane. I'm scared but in the same breath, kind of looking forward to it.

What are you looking forward to in 2014? What are your resolutions? Leave them in the comments.
