I don't think I posted this quote yet but even if I did, it deserves to be seen many times. I saw this image on Pinterest and immediately fell in love with the quote. Ms. Tina Fey is pretty incredible in more ways than one and she is so inspirational, even if she is the queen of comedy.
I think saying yes to things is really important; it opens up many doors and opportunities for you, even when you aren't thinking clearly.
Sometimes saying yes is scary and some people, including myself, over think every situation. I cannot tell you how many times I've said "no" to things because I found a reason that it wouldn't work out.
A few weeks ago, I was offered the chance to write a blog post that might turn into something bigger eventually. I didn't think I had enough time to write the post but knew that this could be HUGE for me and my career. I said YES to the opportunity after thinking of this quote.
I knew that the right thing to do was to say yes; I would figure out how to get it done afterwards. I would figure it out because I had too.
That's the brilliant thing about saying yes; once you affirm the situation, you have to do it. On big chances, there is no going back after you say yes.
This is something that can be used in every aspect of life; career, personal, love--anything at all.
I've been saying yes to a lot of things lately and it might get me into some trouble along the way but either way, I'll figure it out.
