Oh boy, what a week. I mentioned in my post last week that I had a family health emergency and it turns out, my grandpa passed away on Sunday. I can't believe I'm even writing those words right now. I am no stranger to grief but this feels different.

It was a hard week for all of us with the wake and funeral, and just adjusting to life without him. It's so odd and I don't have the words at the moment. Now that he's at peace and we're done worrying, the grieving will continue in our own individual ways.

I'm trying to get back to 'normal' as quickly as possible so I can have some sense of routine and normalcy. That helps me deal and move through things so that means we're back to regular programming on the blog.

Let's get into the wrap-up...

Pink Positivity of the Week

I can always see the light in a dark time, even if it's really difficult. I am really happy that my grandpa isn't suffering anymore and is at peace, with my aunt and my grandma. Things feel light as much as they feel heavy. I also always love seeing family and friends and having their support in rough times.
