How is it July? How are we halfway through 2021? How are we closer to fall than the winter? I'm so excited! June was kind of a blur, I don't really remember everything that happened, probably because it feels like nothing happened. It felt like one big Sunday since at the end of June and for the rest of the summer, I'm super busy.

Last week I had a wedding, in less than two weeks I go to Mexico, and then in August, I have another wedding. September I go to Charleston for a Bachelorette party, October is a bridal shower, November is a wedding... it's a lot and I simply cannot wait. I haven't had anything to look forward to in a long time, pandemic aside, so this feels really good.

I'm very excited for Mexico and I'll have a ton of content about packing, beauty products, suncare, post-pandemic flying -- make sure you're following me on Instagram and TikTok. That's another thing, in June, I realized that I really need and want to dedicate more time to be a creator, an influencer. It brings me a lot of joy and something I want to excel at.

That being said, there will be some updates coming soon but make sure you're following me on all my socials (Tiktok, Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest)

For now, let's dive into all the products I loved last month!

LoveShackFancy Calix Tee

I am a huge LSF and if you've been reading for a while, you know I also love Lilly Pulitizer. I feel like LSF is Lilly's older, sophisticated, more expensive older sister. Their clothes are insanely priced and I don't feel comfortable with the sizing so I haven't purchased any clothes from them... until the Calix Tee. They were having a big sale a month or two ago and I wanted to try the Calix Tee. It was cropped, it looked cute and it was within my price range (after being over 50% off).

Well, I'm obsessed. I got an XL, it fits perfectly and is meant to be cropped and well fitted. It's so comfortable, makes me look really slim, and made me realize that I need to wear clothes that fit me more (I tend to buy things too big because #bodydysmorphia). It's super cute with leggings but I think with a skirt or jean shorts, or even jeans, it could be adorable.

I loved the tee so much I bought a second and now I just want them all. I wear them every single day. They are the best t-shirts ever. I highly recommend this as a starter piece into LSF because who doesn't love cute tees?

Replica Bubble Bath Perfume

When I saw Replica was releasing a scent that is supposed to mimic bubble baths, I was delighted. There's something about a bubble bath that I love in theory, though I don't actually take many bubble baths. I ordered this perfume twice online (the first time it was forgotten in the package and the second, it arrived broken). I went into the store to buy this perfume and I'm so happy I did. It is extremely fresh-smelling, with a touch of sweetness. It isn't overpowering and doesn't last too long, but it really is a beautiful scent. I've gotten a lot of compliments when wearing it and I love that it's not overly one thing -- it's not floral or sweet or musky... it's almost a combination of them all. In my opinion, it's a very neutral scent that works well with a lot of people. I think it's ideal for those who don't love perfume or don't know what their signature scent it. It's delightful and I highly recommend looking into it.

Charlotte Tilbury Collagen Lip Bath in Pillowtalk

I found this lip product in my mom's makeup collection and it was never used. It came in a set I got her for Christmas but she's not the lipgloss type of gal so I stole it. I'm so happy I did. I haven't tried any Charlotte Tilbury lipglosses so this was the first one and I'm impressed. I remember when she released the Collagen Lip Bath and it sounded like a gimmick but I think I'm converted. This gloss isn't sticky at all, doesn't give off an intense color payoff, and is super shiny. It is described as a 'hybrid lip enhancer that plumps your lips to look fuller and healthier and I wholeheartedly agree with that statement. I add this as a lip topper over whatever lipstick I'm wearing (usually CT Pillowtalk or Bitch Perfect) and it gives so much dimension, fullness, and serious gloss. I haven't tried this by itself yet but I'm obsessed with it as a finisher. If you're looking for lip plumper without the tingly feeling or just need your lips to have a little shine without too much color, this is the lip product for you.

Bala Bangles

I never thought I'd love weights so much. I bought Bala Bangles with no purpose in mind. I just wanted them. I saw so many people using them and figured I could find a use for them once I had them in my possession. I attempted to use them with my at-home stationary bike, and that worked for a while but I found a much better use.

I'll talk more about this in an upcoming post but I've changed my workout routine up and the Bala bangles are really helping. I go to the gym almost every day, strap the 1 pound Bala Bangles to my ankles and walk on a high incline, moderate speed on the treadmill. I've noticed a huge difference in my body (not a lot of weight loss) but I'm just obsessed with these. I want the 2-pound glitter ones next! They are so cute, so versatile, and truly such a game-changer if you hate lifting weights/aren't comfortable with weights.

What did you love this month?
xoxo
