What a week! I say that every Friday but this week was extra long. I feel like August itself has been extremely long and weird. There is so much happening in the world and this week it got to me. I was completely overwhelmed with grief and sadness. Mentally, I cannot handle the over-stimulation of the bad news happening all over, and I don't know how to focus on the positive.
That was the theme this week and I know I am not alone. There is some comfort in that... knowing that there are people who are feeling the same things I do. All we can do right now is register to vote, donate to organizations that matter and find the silver linings in all aspects of life. This too shall pass.
All of that being said, I'm off from work today, going to get my first ever massage and might treat myself to the first Pumpkin Spice Latte of the season, even if it is 85 degrees in New York.
Pink Positivity of the Week
I am FLYING through Grey's Anatomy and haven't really watched anything else for the past few weeks. I remember watching the first few seasons of Grey's back in 2006-2007 when it was on Sunday nights (TBT) but somewhere along the way, I fell off the track. I've caught a few episodes here and there in recent years but never fully watched the series from start to finish. I'm currently on season 10, I miss Lexie and Mark, and not ready for Derek to die. My life is consumed by Grey-Sloan Memorial and I don't think I'd have it any other way.

Only two posts this week and I think I'm going to have to rearrange my writing schedule but two is better than none!
