If I'm being honest, the Nordstrom sale this year seems like a mess and a half. It went live for exclusive tiers at the beginning of the month and there was hardly anything left when Early Access started last week. I'm writing this post a few days before the sale actually goes live so we'll see if things are still in stock.
I shop at Nordstrom a lot. It is probably my go-to retailer so I have a lot of essentials and I always try to stock up during the sale and buy one or two new things. That's my game plan for this year too and the entire point of this post.
A few weeks ago I shared my picks during the preview of the sale and a lot of those items still stand but I'm breaking it down today even further. I wanted to break this post into two parts: the items I already own & can attest to and then the items that I have my eye on and am highly considering purchasing. Let's get into it.
What I Own & Recommend
Zella Leggings
My Zella leggings are pretty much the only pants I wear and have worn for years. Before I discovered them, I searched high and low for the perfect pair of leggings and I finally found them. They are tight and form-fitting but not uncomfortable. They are not too thick but not so lightweight that they are see-through. If you have been searching for a gift from the legging gods, these are them. They are almost 50% off during the sale and I always get at least one pair. As enter the cold weather seasons and the virus is still here, it'll be more time spent inside so what better time to get new leggings?
Barefoot Dreams Blanket
There is a reason everyone goes nuts over these blankets. They are magic. I don't think I've ever felt a material quite like this. I have the classic leopard print that is included in the sale and then another, larger blanket that I keep in my room. There has never been a better time to buy a Barefoot Dreams blanket. There are new prints, and the price is one that you can't beat... plus, the whole staying inside thing. You'll be thankful you have this coziness to boost your serotonin. I bought my larger blanket in March and it's probably my favorite purchase of the year. Yes, spending almost $100 on a blanket is insane but I'd risk it all for Barefoot Dreams. While the 'In the Wild' Throw is currently sold out, there is another BFD blanket in stock.
Slip Silk Scrunchies
These are the only scrunchies I wear now and they are by far the best. They are stretchy, slim, and don't leave creases in your hair. They're not so tight that they give you a headache and they look ultra-chic on your wrist. I'm never without one or two whenever I leave the house and while they are expensive, the NSale is giving you a great deal on a set of 8 scrunchies.
Tory Burch Bags
I have a ton of Tory Burch bags and she is by far my favorite contemporary designer. I picked up a crossbody from the sale a few years ago and it is one of my most worn bags. The quality is outstanding and her designs are not too trendy, therefore you can wear the same bag for multiple years. I have my eye on so many bags from her that aren't included in the sale so I won't be purchasing one but if you're looking for a new tote, crossbody, or wallet, I cannot recommend them enough.
Spanx Leather Leggings
There is a reason the Spanx Faux Leather leggings are a top seller across retailers and a reason so many people talk about them. These leggings are a game-changer. They are comfortable, stylish, flattering, and go with everything. They make any outfit look ten times better
Below are other items I own that are included in the sale & highly recommend!
What I'm Planning on Buying
So far, everything I wanted has sold out but I will be keeping an eye on a few things to see if they come back in stock. I really want the Tory Burch Leigh sneakers and a Barefoot Dreams cardigan so those will definitely be purchased, if stock allows. I'll get another pair of Zella leggings and perhaps some slides. I don't need much else and I'm trying to limit my spending so that'll be it!
What are you going to buy?
xoxo
