It's the last day of 2021 and I'm spending it the way God intended... on my couch, watching Harry Potter, reading, reflecting, and eating bread. I am planning on going to a friend's house tonight, for a casual NYE but I'm also planning to be in bed by 12:30 as per tradition.
I despise NYE with a burning passion; I love New Year as an idea and the feeling of a fresh start but the actual night is a nightmare for me. I'm looking forward to the weekend ahead where I'll be alone and be able to just really rest. I had a tough week, mentally and physically, and just want some peace and quiet without any stress hanging over my head. We'll see how that goes.
For now, I want to wrap up the week, the final week of what was an interesting, odd year.

Pink Positivity of the Week
I had the day off on Monday and it was just blissful. I went to Trader Joes, read, relaxed, and just had a really great day. I love self-care days like that and I know I'm going to continue them in 2022.
