Conceal and Correct

I'm on a complete make-up kick right now and I just can't help it. Over the past few months I've been buying way too much make-up that is unneeded but I have justified every purchase.

This weekend while on Spring Break, I thought a trip to Sephora was completely necessary to find the perfect concealer.

I've done my research on what kinds of concealers to buy; I've bought many a drug store kind but nothing worked up to my standards. MAC was next and that was a disappointment also. I was at a complete standstill and it was starting to frustrate me.

I went into Sephora with hopes of finding a better product and looking on my own did nothing. A lovely employee helped me out and made me realize that my dark circles were so bad that I couldn't use just any old concealer, I needed a color corrector also.

She handed me Sephora Collection Smoothing and Brightening Concealer and I was shocked. It only cost $15, cheaper than the MAC concealer and when she applied it with a brush to my face, my dark circles were magically gone.

I couldn't believe it--I looked like a different person. She then applied some loose powder to my face also to set the concealer and I was good to go.

Needless to say that I bought the concealer and even though when I applied my makeup myself, it didn't come out exactly the same but it was still a huge difference. I purchased the "Radiant Beige" color since my skin isn't that fair but also not very deep. It was the perfect shade.

I felt like I was working with some magical make-up. If you are in need of a heavy duty concealer, go to Sephora and get this one. You don't need a big name brand behind a product to think it's good.
