The Curl Effect

I have naturally curly and frizzy hair. During the winter months, I rarely wear my hair natural; I like it so much better when I'm tan and when it's hot out because straightening my hair in the summer months is torture.

I do love my hair straight but sometimes I get really lazy and just don't have enough time during my days to blow and straighten my unruly locks. Sometimes I really just want to wear my hair curly but I hate putting product in it because it comes out horrible and without product, it looks like a mess.

It's a lose/lose situation.

I had some Birchbox points leftover from reviewing products I received in my monthly boxes and my shop-alcoholic tendencies kicked in. I couldn't just save the points to buy something big so I had to find something cheap and small to get, right at that very moment.

I stumbled upon this fabulous product called Curly Keeper: Total Control for Frizzy Hair.

I read the reviews and decided that I'd try it out; if I didn't like it, it was no lost cause because I didn't buy it with actual money.

I used it as soon as I got it in the mail and it has totally changed my life.

After I wash my hair, I put two quarter sized drops in my hand and run it through, root to tip. After you put it in, if you want a more voluminous look, shake your head around to build up the look. If you don't want any volume, don't touch your hair.

Seriously, do not touch your hair, don't put it up in a messy bun, don't brush it, basically do not move your head.

Once your hair is dry, it will have amazing waves and curls. It won't be frizzy at all and it'll look really nice.

Curl Keeper is water based so there is no product build up and you can really use it every day.

I am utterly in love with this product. I have never seen anything like it and it really works. My natural, curly hair has never looked so great!
